Requires frequent updates so that you cannot even do banking any more as it does not even allow install unless I buy a new device. It is shameful and useless. I should not waste my time with frequent updating. I am a professional not a secretary. I need a stable application with automatic and optional updates. Shame on you Cib bank! Your online banking decisions are poor to the extreme!
Just update to the latest version. When placing a fixed time deposit, the pin that was accepted during login is not accepted while confirming the deposit. I am pretty disappointed. This happens consistently even after I logout and login again.
Thnx for in the middle of a verification of online purchase bec of a last night maintenance your app hasnt let me proceed without updating your app. Afterwards I havent found your verification message upon which I went back to the online shop to find my basket empty. Next time after such update you do warn the users AT ONCE that they need to update your app BEFORE getting to any actual paying process.
Not optimized for my device anymore???????? Are you kidding me now????? It is cheaper to change a bank than my device!!!! You should make sure that you are not loosing customers just because of the app.
I want to pay my phone bill and it is extra slow and doesn't allow it. Something changed with securing the payment and now I can't pay my bills in time! Thanks CIB, I will leave you as soon as possible. The call center is always busy. The service is just not that great, I had a lot of problems with them before.
The app is easy to use, and a nice way to do all sorts os banking - when it works. Which is quite rare nowdays. It displays 1001 or 1002 error messages when I need it most. A huge dissappointment.
It didn't let me continue using the app until I subscribed to some "optional service", I absolutely did Not want!
I hate this app. Half in English, half in hungarian. They made online transfers and payments so secure that even I can't go through it.. It takes me to the app to confirm the transaction but it fails every time. Before I could request code to be sent to my mobile phone, now I don't have this option. The other way is to scan QR code in the app while making a purchase but if you make the purchase on your phone also then well... Bad luck. I survived with this app for few years but I think this it
"1002 error please try again later." But I need to use it NOW! What's the point of this app if it's not working properly? It's really frustrating. I was reading the feedbacks and most people complain about the same issue. And they keep answering that they're working on it. I guess they're not trying that hard to fix these problems...
Does not accept confirmation PIN since it was updated, so it is practically useless now.
when I sign in on the website, it always drops me -- I have to sign in 2-3 times to check my account or make a payment
I cannot activate the new card with this app. It requires the missing digits in place of the 4 asterisks. When I type in the second group of digits and try to activate, it fails with the message "Given card number not found" or something like that. Afterter 3 times bad luck I switched to the desktop app on my PC. It turned out that the app requires the third group of digits instead of the second. With the desktop app I succeeded. I guess it is some kind of screen alignment bug or something...
The app doesn't work on Mondays. This is many consecutive Mondays that I have experienced this! Seriously ridiculous! Error try again later! All day long!
Update after 3 months : Login still doesn't work. Time to find another bank. Design looks OK, but sometimes login doesn't work and could not transfer money at all, so actually it's useless. Random errors popping up on every usage. It's sad because I chose this bank because of the app. Not sure if it's a good idea to trust a company who can't handle such simple task. Please don't respond with this "continuosly improving our application" text, because it looks like you don't do it.
We are in 2022 - It's been quite a few years now and I still cannot manage my standing orders through the app. Incredible, really...
I have been a customer of CIB for 13 years. At this point their application quite often makes it impossible for me to access my money, because it gives (1002) error. It is truly aggravating. I have to find another bank that is capable of making a fast, usable, reliable application. I have already been saved by Revolut multiple times. Reliability is the most important thing when we are talking about money. Fire the developer and hire a really good one. You are a bank, you have the money for better developers.
Worst design and functionality ever.
Congrats, is an absolute useless app now after the 12th of May update.
Terrible app. Crashes constantly, lacks key functionality such as: not all loans are visible in the app and they say its a bug currently. (for months now) , you cannot set up a scheme for transfers, for that the already obsolete desktop app is needed, they have been saying for 5 years now that this functionality will be included.
Update 2020-09 +1* Some improvement in speed, but it's not enough. Was not bad , but nowadays often too slow, too many unexpected errors, thus cannot access my accounts. Tapping on screen and nothing happens. Waiting for mobile payment on Android for years... Unhandy screen layouts, lack of configuration. Partner list cannot be synced with the desktop app. About my customer experience this app is for the bank not for customers. :( Want to earn more stars? Then could you please copy some best practice from competitors? (But not from the Gránát Bank.) Revolut could be a good starting point. I revoke my recommendation of this app until the reliability and usefulness not improved more.
Extremely slow during the day (becomes faster in the evening). Some functions (virtual card creations) permanently fail, with misleading error message to retry later. ... Tried again a week later as per the suggestion, still the same error message about system error and asking to try again later. It happens too many times that the application fails to work (start, user log in) with error code 1002 around 11 PM. Is this a maintenance window?
Cool app, easy to use. I have only one problem. Being a co-owner or member to the account (I am not the owner) I can't see my own card details and transactions with card(s) and on the account itself. I don't receive any notifications on the transactions either. I miss these things very much!
No words how weak and buggy this app and the company too. Null point!
I've been using this app since it came out. As I was reading other people's reviews I was surprised to find out about crashing, biometrics, pin-pad issues and the like. I have never had any of these problems, or almost any other types. The only thing that I can think of is that notifications don't always load on the first go. Overall, I like the app. Additional info: I am using it on a Honor 9 at the moment and I have been a customer of CIB for over 20 years.
The 'ok' button is not responding. I can't login at all unless i go to the bank and re register. The new version of the app is very unreliable. I can't do any thing without going to the bank and waist minimum 1 hour and half to reset everything. very useless app. Don't use it 👎👎👎👎👎👎
It was the best app, but its broken on many levels now. - The app does not respect my phone set language - In the notifications mark all as read sometimes does not mark all as read just place it under the read directory - There is no easy way to search payments, the notification page only shows the date time, but not the actual amount. The transaction tab will show the date the transaction is processed by the banks, not the actual date I payed. - PrintScreen is disabled - And many many bugs
