very buggy, bad UI. As a developer, I am amazed how the app got published. Could not copy any info in step 2, whenever I go to another screen to copy the code and get back to the app, it resets to step 1 again, same happens if the screen gets locked. I had to write all the codes in a piece of paper first. The app is functional but not user friendly and buggy.

To those who say that the page reset when they activate token, Please split the screen between CIB app and your messaging app and just use copy and paste options. Regarding that session expires before you enter all data, I believe this is better for your security. Try to complete the activation quicker. I did it as explained and I got good results. My feedback on the experience is good.

This app is a total failure. I have been trying to transfer money and enter the OTP but each time the message incorrect OTP appears. I called the customer service line multiple times and they tried to help but I do not think the issue is from their side at all!

Doesn't allow me to copy codes from SMS.It resets the form every time I switch to SMS to copy the codes. Very sloppy app. Shouldn't be like that!! I couldn't retrieve my OTP code because it doesn't allow switching between apps without losing the data you already entered. The developer reply was as poor as the application. It shows that they didn't understand my comments. Actually same issue was reported by other users here too.

OTP number has many issues such as giving error messages of incorrect number while the number is correct, plus the expiry is very fast in 1 minute. User was locked many times. Customer service team doesn't understand the issue / doesn't know the solution. They just ask you to uninstall and reinstall the app. I had to enter the transfer details each time and that ends with errors with OTP. Very frustrating experience

Like others have said, worst interface ever - very confusing. You have to juggle between two applications trying to type in a number of codes, and, if it takes too long and one of the apps closes because of security reasons, you have to start all over again!

Amateur application with endless issues and flaws, the nice thing that you will see is related to the 5 stars ratings, most of it is coming from the bank application development team. Really this is unbelievable. The solution in all cases is to uninstall and reinstall the application! I think something fundamental is missing here, unfortunately the support team is disconnected and not listening to the issues. Total disaster & can be an easy court case in other countries for time wasted & money

a disappointing application, u can imagine every time I need to make a money transfer transaction, I have to call cib customer service and ask for RESETTING application for installing again!! it is very annoying. Since this issue is deep seated and repeated as shown in users reviews Unfortunately cib technical team does not make any progress in this bug. solutions should be based on root cause analysis, Not trial and error methods.

Extremely unprofessional app. only worked for One Time then locked!.Very disappointed by how many times the app has locked. Reinstalled the app and called the customer service many times for activation, they unlock the app, change the application counter and ask me to set the time zone to Automatice which is already done, but still locks again! Update October 2019, still not working after contactingthe customerservice and resettingthe app many times. Absolutely useless and disappointing app.

when you uninstall the app and install it again it simply stops running. also when you buy a new phone or simply change phone number. the app always ask you to call the CIB hotline when ever it stops working well and in my opinion, many simple problem could be fixed if the app was developed than just two simple bottoms.

I need to copy three long numbers from SMS to app, and if I swtich to SMS and return to app it resets, so I cannot copy one by one. Also CIB app session expires before I am able to finish entering this information, rendering application not usable for normal people. Please stop hiring amateurs to make your apps, this is just embarrassing.

Don't please reply with a typo as I can't even take a screenshot, it keeps close in less than second. There's no error it just keeps close without asking about my confirmation of access like it press itself for "No" answer. And no help from customer service side.

Latest version (20 Oct 2019) keeps crashing! There is no error. The App crashes as soon as it is launched. I tried on a fresh device and it just disappears one second after being launched.

This application has wasted my time, I need to reconnect to customer service every time I try to activate the application, who do not respond quickly, and their response is not helpful, because I follow their steps and there is no solution to the problem!, I have online banking in a German bank and their apps is simple , really you have to change your apps

The worst app ever!! I keep getting "Incorrect OTP" message even if I made sure it's typically entered! The CIB Egypt hotline/technical support cannot help at all. They keep asking to uninstall the app and reinstall it. Insufficient!

This app is the reason why im changing my bank after 3 years, i had to call the customer service 9 times on the course of 4 days, and still i cannot complete the transaction, it's too complex and sluggish to get things done, even its "Help" section says to call the hotline, who are of no help, it's truly a shame

It keeps giving me an error for wrong OTP, and it requires a call to customer service every time to reactivate the service!!!! It`s very frustrating and time consuming, please fix this issue ASAP.

I truly wonder why the app and authentication process is that complex and tedious! The app can simply screen-scan a time-limited, one-time QR-code generated from the CIB website, and ask the user to answer a secret question, that only the user knows. Then app just hashes a verifiable code to be entered back on the website to authenticate the initiated money tranfer transaction, without the need for all current tedious steps that don't fit travelling customers and off-time money transfers!

This is the worst activation method I have ever used. Extremely stupid app. No normal person can activate the service at all. I must give it zero stars not even one. Yes of course I watched the activation video. The steps are not the problem here. It seems you keep ignoring users complaints by your generic replies. The CIB site does not accept the generated code and keeps giving wrong code message because the user must be faster than a jet plane when he or she puts the stupid codes.

This application UI is old that people in 2008 wouldn't use it, the verification process is way too long and nightmarish and is important if you want to do any sort of online transaction, fix the UI and the verification process

You need to go back and forth many times. It doesn't transfer info from the Messages. Use pencil and paper and have your lap top open and the screens going out many times before you get the job done. Thanks anyway.

Useless. Everytime I make a bank transfer and ask for OTP OTP token and even when I enter the number correct, the CIB online banking says there is an error and this service cannot be performed. Please fix it or develop another app. I am fed up of calling customer service and re-installing the app as requested several times.

I keep getting wrong OTP message, even though I copy pasted... Edit: Contacted support and problem solved with a reset. The problem was probably caused because I requested OTP Token twice and used the first SMS registration instead of the second.

Very bad , every month when i try to transfere money am always getting invalid OTP . Am working outside egypt and its very crucial to me to be able to transfer money easily and simply.... Its very frustrating
