This app does not work for all Cielo devices. Be aware and read stats. The company doesn't bother to tell you this. Trial and error app. I think there are three versions for different devices. Choose carefully. And there may be interconnectivity problems. Usual annoying corporate roll out with bad documentation.
App is good but needs a few tweaks, and the Thermostats themselves need a few tweaks. The App should support screen rotation for use with Tablets and other rotated devices. The Thermostats should support a WiFi connection to the device it controls if such is available - mine has this feature. The Thermostats should also relay commands from the Remote Control to the Device. This would allow continued use of the Remote - which does control the Thermostat but the commands are not relayed to the Device it controls. This greatly reduces the utility of the Thermostat.' Fix these issues and it is worthy of five stars.
We've only had this a few days, but it's very easy to use. I've been able to set programs and calibrated temperature and humity. it's was very easy to connect to our Daikin mini split and works great.
App used to work great, after the last several updates it no longer works on my galaxy s21 ultra and pioneer mini split remote model RG66B6(B)/BGEFU1. Tried uninstalling, clearing cache, and storage. When I send a command sometimes the unit responds 5-10 minutes later, or not at all. Please fix and I will give 5 star again.
The service has become much more reliable over the past few years. Also, the app UI (user interface) is very good now with many of my HVAC system features supported.
Mostly happy with the devices and the app is good enough. It's easy to use and has most of the controls you'd want. I took away two stars for the lack of control over the "wide vane" (side to side) fins on my Mitsubishi mini split. I can set direction of the up and down fins but not those. Using the original remote still works but any command sent from Cielo resets them to straight out. If they just stayed how I set them I wouldn't mind nearly as much.
it's extremely reliable so far setting day and night schedule has proven consistent with temperature adjustment that meet my demands. Pairing your AC with Cielo is really easy.ive used the unit for 4days now, and will be sure to keep updated
Having the main options on the main screen is good. Not having an advanced tab with *ALL* of the other things my remote can do is disappointing and unexpected. I want all of the settings available in SmartThings too. #fail Changing this from 2 stars for the lack of options described above to one star for the stupid reply. I am notifying you here what you should have already done. Just update your app.
Need the ability to control mode in sync across multiple heads. This is also important for comfy mode, system needs to coordinate mode for multiple heads.
Simply awesome product. Our new ductless system was driving us nuts. No scheduling other than a single on or off time and worthless temp sensing forcing us to set it to 80 all night so it will stay on and at least be 66 in the morning! Vendor wanted $850 per head to add the capability. Cielo Breez does it for an eighth of the cost and allows us to overcome the ductless poor design! Well done.

Does not offer a max or turbo setting on the actual wall thermostat so if you have a person that wants turbo or max it is only available as strong in the app but the wall thermostat will not do so. And I have shared this issue with ceilo breeze for 2yrs .
must sync automatically with ac.. for example if grid fails ac turns off but in app still shows on..π©π
Started out working fine. Stopped working after 2 weeks and now it won't connect. I've tried every possible suggestion, to no avail. The error message says to disconnect the unit and check my wifi. I did this numerous times with no positive results, I even added a wifi extender. UPDATE: I just spoke with your support center and the issue has been corrected. Self-inflicted problem...I did not choose the correct remote for my mini-split Pioneer a/c. Thank you very much, you guys are great!!!
The app is easy to use, and is very flexible - it has a myriad of options so you can configure to your individual preference. Among the features I like the most is the option to disable the touch screen, which prevents my kids from constantly fidgeting with the temperature controls, fighting over the room being too cold or too hot. There is also the capability to create a profile with your preferred temperature and humidity ranges, and adjust the AC behavior accordingly.
The app is "ok". It seems more stable than the Nethome controller I was using before. However, by switching i lost two pretty big features on my Pioneer mini-split. I can no longer see what the internal/external temps are nor can I use the "turbo" feature any longer. Hopefully the devs will see this and can hook us Pioneer users up. During the summer I may have to switch back to Nethome.
We bought two Cielo Breeze Plus devices to manage the aircon units in our bedrooms. We rent so replacing perfectly fine working but dumb aircon units doesnt make much sense. The Breeze Plus was easy to set up and integrate into our WiFi. The software is easy to navigate and functionality was good. The support is super responsive and helpful and even added new rules into the firmware when we asked for it. We couldnt be happier. Thank you.
This app "just works". It has an easy interface, it works with my Honeywell portable air conditioner, and it supports all of the features that the AC supports itself. I love being able to turn my AC on before I head home from work. The Cielo Eco itself is dramatically cheaper than other options out there for an identical feature set. Very pleased overall.
"Swing" button no longer works. App isn't user friendly. Setting a schedule is very difficult and time consuming. They should look at Sensi for how to build a scheduling app. LED light comes on when it is anything happens to the unit (on, temp adjust, swing adjust, etc) and there's no way to turn the LED off permanently so you can sleep undisturbed. Every time you press any button it beeps loudly, disturbing your partner when she's asleep and you're just trying to adjust the temp. I've already sent this in via the Cielo app. No response, no changes.
Overall really like the product and app. I feel if it had a bit more functions I'd consider it a 5star app. Top of my list would be some custom alerts I could set up (such as a humidity alert) that would push to my phone. Or even better, some "if this then that" (ex. If humidity reaches 65%, then turn on 'dry' function until humidity is less then 60%... or something like that).
Slow app, Thermostat takes nearly a minute to respond to any touch controls. Wifi works only half the time. Support was useless, they refused to add support for my remote. Auto function fails, can't change temperature in Auto, sets itself to 60 degrees, false advertising on a broken feature. Every update seems to break it more, old app was halfway decent, new app is bad. Terrible hardware, terrible software, terrible support, terrible company. Regret purchase. Stay far away from these guys.
I got this for the smart things compatibility, but otherwise the app is essentially a copy of the nethome app you get when using one of the $20 USB wifi adapter you can install in most units. The physical Cielo Plus thermostat is built with the cheapest materials possible, despite being nearly the price of a nest or ecobee. There are a ton of smart mini split thermostat options out now. I would look elsewhere if you need one.
Excellent performance! I am using this app with their smart controller to control my Gree minisplit and it works flawlessly.. App is very user-friendly and I really like it's clean and simple interface. lately I had a minor problem with changing photo but support team was very responsive and eliminated that issue within minutes or I must say seconds.
the remote randomly loses connection with Alexa and randomly has problems talking to the mini-split
Great app! I'm only running into an issue where my Fujitsu's "Quiet" setting is hard to understand how to make work through the app and device (Breeze Plus). Also had some issues with linking to Google Home and contacted Cielo customer service and they solved it immediately stating its a known issue and gave me a work-around until Google helps solve the issue... So far, I'm very happy with this system!
It is working as described. Still need some improvement, like share devices across users...
Better than nothing. We have seven of these (with Fujitsu heat pumps). Problems: - can't set separate heat and cool season schedules, so have to click 7xn schedules on/off manually - can't do all the vane angles, or powerful mode, nor economy mode - can't control all devices at once eg to go into vacation mode or back to normal schedule when returning (geofence not sufficient for vacation usecase+heating) - devices beep on any change, so can't change it overnight (including using "comfy" mode)
