Cigar Oasis

The My Smart Humidor App is used with Cigar Oasis 3.0 humidification units and is used to check on your cigars when away from home. You also have the ability to remotely monitor the temperature, adjust the humidity setting and also view the humidity and temperature history with the user friendly charts. You may purchase an auto-renewing subscription through an In-App Purchase. (If you do not maintain a subscription, most of the app's features will be limited for your use.)

The app is pretty good. I don't understand the subscription part. You're paying for a warnings and that's it. To me that feels like something that should be included for the money I spent on this device. However for a subscription I would like to see a makeshift humidor graphic with the flow of air in it protecting my investment. You know bang for your buck.

Seems to run fine on a pixel 5, wish it had more recent updates on readings, seems to lag behind on saved readings for 12 hours or so. Nothing special about it. Needs some work on screen and settings options as well. Should have a home screen widget also for the money. UI needs some work.

Worked great for me but I will be uninstalling it. I would like to pay a one time fee and be done with it but $20 a year is not worth it to me. If it were a five dollar app I would have purchased it but this is not worth a subcription to me.

The thought is good but I am not able to log in. Even when I ask for a verification email to be resent I do not receive anything. Double checked email and it states email already exists but won't send me a verification email. I don't get it.

3.0 was a step into the dark ages! I've had a few of the smaller Excel 2.0 units and they worked great. Decided to upgrade one of them and get a Magna 3.0, what a mistake that was. The Wi-Fi is terrible. It will connect and give updates, then the next hour just stop. I tried unplugging and nothing; I've tried reset and redo setup and same result. Also that this device must use a dedicated 2.4ghz network is so arcaic, but I did that too without any success. Scour ebay for 2.0 devices!!!

Wifi doesn't work Too bad because would have been a great idea but does not work. I have 2 systems and none of them work. Canceled subscription. I reached out to someone from your company who tried to repair the issues I had going one and was very unsuccessful. Not from lack of trying but it simply just doesn't work and it's a shame because it's an amazing idea.

The product (Ultra 3.0) is a great product that keeps my humidor at a perfect 67%RH. The wifi components and software can use some work. After fighting with connection issues for months I finally started to get a consistent connection. The system would not cooperate with my eero network causing me to have to set up a separate network off my modem to connect to. The subscription is OK at best. Would like to see the time the reading was reported but for $1.60/mo ($20/yr) it isn't bad. THANK YOU!

The Wifi functionality doesn't work and the app crashes constantly. I am not sure why Wifi is offered and advertised as a feature. It doesnt work and there is a message in the app states that they are "working on it" when you try to configure via Wifi. If it doesn't work, then don't add it to the application and sell the product as such.

Been a subscriber for over a year. Mainly bought it to get low water alerts as I only smoke infrequently. This works fine. I agree with others, why such a huge app for basic functionality. All it does is provide a few readouts. BAD...changes to graphs in this version. The temp & humidity graphs in the prior version were perfect with auto scsling. Why have you now changed the scales to go from 0 to 100 ?? When does a humidor ever reach 50 celcius ?? Cannot see any detail on these graphs any more

Rock solid for maintaining my desired RH, which is the only reason I bought it. It was a little difficult to subscribe after the free trial period ended, but I got through it. Doesn't have a lot of bells and whistles, if that's what I was looking for I would have bought a pinball machine. I initially set it up on 8/4/21. Today is 11/28/21, haven't had to refill it yet, and my home is on the dry side. Maintains a constant 69% with a 300 stick capacity humidor. I have the Excel 3.0 with this app😁

The jury is still out on this. Took long time to connect had to register my device first which directions didn't indicate. The app shows what my device "set" point is and shows humidity under that but underneath that says "no data" Also, I tried to select free 30 day trial it would only let me use the app with a subscription. I'll see how it goes so far not looking good

Update: Finally figured out how to subscribe after the 30 day free trial. I had to click on my coolidor I have set up in the app to subscribe. Not the "subscribe" button at the bottom. Poor design. Original review: App was working great during the 30 day free trial but now when I click for the paid renewal through the app, it takes me to the Play Store Subscriptions, but no option to set up a paid subscription. Grrrrrrr!

Solid unit with bright display that's easy to read. But why on Earth is the connection wifi and not Bluetooth? Everything today uses Bluetooth but not this unit. This makes it unnecessarily difficult. We don't want to have to key in network names and passwords. Left me frustrated and deciding to not pay for a subscription. Would not buy again.

Just opened my magma oasis, downloaded the app, and you have to be kidding me. It takes longer set this up the it did setting 3 booster towers around my property. Now I am stuck on the connect setup page with all fields populated and the submit button is grayed out. Guys, if you want someone to pay for this app, you have to do better then this.

Updated: 8/10 New update cleaned up the UI. Looks a lot nicer. Can't speak on the setup (if it got easier) because I already had the app installed, and won't risk uninstalling to go through that ordeal again. Giving it a 4 star based on the app doin what it says it's supposed to do. If I was to rate satisfaction, maybe a 3 star. Somewhat cool, but again without real time updates, not completely with it. Would give 5 stars if status was in real time.

Update the app and now nothing works at all for either one of my humidors that I paid subscriptions for. So I try to contact the developer using the email listed here and I get an email error saying address not found. Unreal! So now I have 2 subscriptions that mean absolutely nothing and an app that is worthless.

The App does not show actual real time readings from the unit. It shows the readings from the unit when it was plugged in but the readings do not change in the App. Readings are not real-time. I will wait 24 hours and see if anything changes.

Doesn't work I just want my $21.71 back .... It's bad enough after numerous resets and going through the setup to provisional mode, that once setup, the app does not update with the correct readings. Then you're then hit with a resend password email from a Global "ciqada" site requiring a subscription to log back on. Reporting to Google pay
