WORST APP. EVER!!!!! Camera takes partial blurry photos. App keeps crashing just as you are about to upload a photo. You have to start all over again and then app crashes!!! This is not becoming of the health company it is supposed to represent. Would never recommend even bothering to download it. Waste of RAM space. I would not even give it one star!!!
Horrible app. Can't upload photos. I had to do it on desktop which is very time consuming. Incomplete info on what documents to upload that resulted to them keep asking the missing information. When I upload the missing information, they ask again for the same info. The claims took ages even if all the info and documents are complete. Very bad experience this time. It should be negative star not just for the app but also the process to claim. It was easier 2 years ago.
The app has been updated and now it doesn't work at all. Can't upload photos. It was bad enough before, as it just crashed if I took a photo from within the app. Now even if I take the photo beforehand and select it from the gallery, if doesn't upload it. Currently it's impossible to submit a claim from within the app.
Crashes whenever trying to upload a receipt. So the app is effectively useless. This problem has been there for over a year without a fix. I have a samsung galaxy S10, so one of the most common android devices on the market. My conclusion is that this developer does exactly NO testing of this app
It crashes every time I try to add an invoice. However, the experience on Cigna site is the same. It used to work, but it has been hell for the last year. Takes me at least a thousand times for one invoice. Ridiculous! Right now I do not know how to submit my claim, and there is nobody to contact over there!!!!
Nothing but problems EVERY single step of the way. Each time I try to file a claim with this app (because it's so much easier-ha!), I get to the point where I take a pic or browse to add the copy of the invoice & it logs me completely out! No way to proceed using this app as I have tried both ways. Totally ridiculous....
Very very helpful, but the camera function is terrible. My Note 5 takes excellent photos and makes high quality scans, but your software only produces grainy black and white photos. Many times I try again and again to get readable results. I like the dact that I can attach pdf files also
Android app has annoying bug whereby photo of invoice is totally within frame, yet what gets sent to Cigna server has right side cropped out. That means usually the invoice amount is cropped, resulting in Cigna to request "additional information" and to upload invoice again via website. This results in 2-3 week delay in processing and receiving reimbursement. Will not be using app anymore for this reason.
Very convenient app for older devices. Works flawlessly on earlier Samsungs for example, including S7. From the S8 onwards at least until (including) the S20+, the app hangs on the attachments page when submitting a claim. No link to tech support provided in the app nor on the play store
I don't know what's happening. It used to work perfectly and it's been few month that it crashes anytime I try to upload a receipt. I have to go on my computer to do the requests. Not convenient.... Can you please update the appli or smth ? Thanks
this app has constant bugs, although it has improved since it first created. considering the millions of customers who rely on CIGNA health insurance services, you would think the company could invest in a quality application. 1. photo function doesn't work, and leads to app crashing.only solution I've found so far, is to take a photo of invoices first, and then upload into the claim 2. the application does not allow you to see comments and feedback from CIGNA - only desktop version!
If you want a functional international insuarance look elsewhere. They will not amswer the phone or emails even when you are running out of breath in the emergencies department. Had a horryfying experience with one of the best plans they offer. Especially if you are a student!
I used to use the iPhone version of this app for claims and it worked like a dream. Now, on my new Android phone, it systematically crashes when I take a photo of an invoice. Absolutely useless
It used to be great but now is useless. I need to login from my lap top to submit a claim. The app just signs me out every time I try to take a picture or upload from existing files. I haven't been able to submit a single claim through the app in some time now. Fix it.
Used to be great, now been useless for months. The photo function hasn't been working for a long time now - like other users, trying to take a photo results in being logged out of the app. One has ro use roundabout ways to prepare claims. Reinstalling the app made no difference.
Latest update does not work: when taking a picture of the invoice it fails and one has to logon again. Also after selecting a picture from the gallery, one gets this error "online_claiming:file_upload:general error"!
It never allowed me to take pictures of receipts directly in the claim (the App simply crashed). Since a few weeks it has become completely useless, because I'm also not able to upload/attach my medical bills. Please, fix. Smartphone: Pixel 2XL, Android version 10
I have full empathy for all those awarding one star, because I did the same some years ago, the app was not working after hours and hours of trying and googling, i had even sent a complaint to Cigna, with no effects... however, I gave it a new chance in April 2021 and it really works, login, camera, overview. Probably other people in charge. Anyways, well done, better later than never
As my coverage period was ending, they started demanding all sorts of paperwork for the same provider all of a sudden, constantly asking for new documents only in the end to deny coverage based on something else, costing me hundreds of extra euros. Either unbelievably incompetant or intentionally deceptive. You should be ashamed to work here.
This apps is not user friendly and very slow. Sometime stop to work properly that need us to restart the apps and fill the form from the beginning. Cigna needs to improve the apps as well as its services
used to work fine but in recent months the app fails or crashes when trying to attach a photo of an invoice on my galaxy s8 running android 9, therefore useless. needs fixing.
This app doesn't work properly. I have Samsung Galaxy note 9. While trying to take picure of a document, it gets restsrted. Due to that, I can't submit a claim.
If you could develop the app using native android web platform rather than displaying the website on the app would be more convenient to use. Everytime it asks for cookies and cannot autologin.
App keep crashing when taking photo or trying to upload an image and return to the login page. thia started to happen after new Android and google services updates good app but it will be better if I could submit a claim for multiple people which will minimize number of bank transfers to a single claim, instead of transaction per per person per claim.
App worked perfectly until recently when it appears an update introduced some bugs. Uploading documents either doesn't work now or is very slow and needs to be attempted several time until it works. It would be great to have the old reliability of the app from a few weeks ago. Thank you.
