I like this app, but I can't get full functionality from it on my Moto G6. In settings, under "Set image parameters," changing Contrast, Saturation and Sharpness has no effect on my phone. Furthermore, the app doesn't allow me to change to a different frame rate (e.g., 24 fps). A big disappointment for such a nice app. Suggestion: create an assignable shortcut button (or 2) on the live view, that links me directly to any camera control for faster adjustment (e.g., Image Parameters/Contrast).
The app says that it has updated the issue with rooted devices (I have a Samsung S7) being able to save to the SD card. I have followed every tutorial I can find and the app will only save to the internal storage even when you direct it to a custom folder on the SD card. Even more frustrating it creates a 'ghost' file that has the custom directory path, but it is just a hyper link to the actual file.... on the internal device file. This would be an incredible app for pocket film otherwise.
Very disappointing. A swift un- install. I was excited with the feature to record with an external mic. But you can only record horizontally and you can only record with the rear-facing camera and none of the settings are accessible. It makes it not usable why would I spend $4 if the free one can't even work. It also says the app is really out of date, and to update but there is no update so I guess it just is what it
Love this on my Samsung 20 plus. The standard camera suckssss... im disappointed at Samsung. This app has great low lighting with little to no grainy look. The aperture is wide. And the rolling shutter. One thing... can you slow down the auto focus. It looks nice. But too quick. I'd like a smoother tap focus from one subject to the next. Not sure if you get me. Thanks guys.
I have been using camera apps for the past years but if it was possible for me to rate this app 200% I would have done that. With this camera app I can shoot a full movie with auto focus feature. The video quality is wow! Kudos to the developers and please you can include more features that will enhance the video quality. I read that mobile phones don't support this focus mode (blurry background), but this app does. I have not regretted downloading this app.
Just what I was looking for. Needed an app that would record video while getting audio from my Blutooth headset. Other apps would disable the camera because they made my phone think I was on a call. This worked even though at install and initial startup a message popped up saying it might not be compatible with my version of Android.
Well, IT IS LIMITED TO 1280x720 although it says it limits only lenght of the clips. I expected as much, but I'm still aggravated with the deliberate lie. Otherwise, almost perfect app that only misses false color display and waveform. If the PRO version had it, I'd buy it.
I like the fact that this AP works on the phone allowing me to record audio with the Bluetooth headphones. However the one down side for me is that only works with the rear facing camera. When making videos for you tube I need to use the front camera in order to assure that myself and everything else is in frame. It would be great if you fix this issue.
I don't see why you should download this app when you can do the exact same thing with full resolution on the default camera app. Well its the free version so can't complain much but even in the paid version, we don't really get anything worth that money. You can't control shutter speed. Aperture on phones are fixed (except galaxy s9/10) so thats not an option either. So atleast for a "Video Camera" app, just getting a digital image stabilisation is not a big thing to ask but nope.
This app only works on older versions of Android software. I have an old phone running 4.3 and the app works fine, but on my every day Samsung, nothing works. Probably because the app hasn't been updated in at least 3 years. So if you have the latest and greatest, don't bother, because it's not going to work. But on my old samsung Android, all functions are operating well. I would give it 5 stars for the old version, but zero stars because it's way out of date. So it gets a 3. Grab an old Android
I really like this app, but one thing is really bothering me: the fact that I can't record videos using my sd card as storage. I don't have much internal storage for my phone and I got an sd card for this exact reason, I go into the settigs and choose the file path that has sd card on it, but my footage gets corrupted and it gets saved in my internal storage instead. Please fix this issue. I just want to save my videos in my sd card.
Absolutely stupid, when you adjust the settings it doesn't even really do anything. DONT WAIST YOUR TIME. If your are looking for a Great manual video app, then check out "CINIMA 4K" I know it sounds cheesy but it really works!!
The major issue with this app is that it do not has a "pause" option to pause the video... This is the only issue I have with this app... I will be glad if the Developer take this into account, i.e., to add a "pause" optipn to pause a video in this app... Otherwise, the app is very good !!!
In the description it says you can film in 4K, but you have to pay for it. All resolutions higher than 720p are locked to Pro version, but that is not stated anywhere in the description: "The Lite version is a fully-functional version without any time or feature restriction"
Maximum res is 720p at 30fps in Lite(free) version. That is useless. All this offers is being able to see what the layout looks like before going to buy the Pro(paid) version. Paid option has 4k res but I still only see 30fps - if you want SlowMotion DON'T get this app.
installed this app so i could use a blue tooth earpiece to record the audio on the video. this function does not work. it HAS recorded via the bt piece, but only on lowest quality. any change in the quality / encoding means it records through the phone's internal mic .
All features are good, But there is a lack of "Pause Video option "in this app. If you want to pause for sometime for taking rest, then you are not allowed for them. Developer Sir, please update your app with an option of pausing video, which will be so beneficial to all. Thank you
That app seems great However I have installed it in a LG Alcatel phone and a Samsung phone on both phones it does not recognize the SD card therefore there's not much space on these older phones you can't record no more than few minutes worth of video. As far as me using it to be able to try it out to edit some video it doesn't recognize that SD cards. The price of the regular app is not that much I would have no problems in buying it. If someone could help I would appreciate it.
