Cinematics: The Movie Guide

Mostly I love it, but the movie lists make no sense. Now Playing will show movies that were out months ago but not some that are out then. Top Box Office is not accurate at all and also shows old movies. This isn't super important, but it's nice to be able to see accurate and current lists so I can quickly find something I've just seen to leave a review. Searching is easy enough, but still...

Please bring back the Rotten Tomatoes critic's consensus. It was added to the app after I requested it 4 years ago, but it has since been removed for no reason. The lack of this feature is the only thing stopping me from uninstalling the Flixster app and using this one instead. Also quite often the ratings for a film simply never load, so please fix that as well. Thanks!

This is the best TMDb app by far. The layout is great, and has many different views/lists to browse the extensive database. I love the fact that ratings from several other major movie sites are integrated, not just TMDb, thus giving you a much broader impression of how a given title is received. One major gripe though: it forces portrait mode. This is a real problem on the Planet Computers Gemini, which is a landscape device. Temporarily forcing landscape mode works, but the menu is just blank. A true landscape mode is needed, as well as respecting the device's rotation settings instead of forcing portrait mode. As this really impacts on how I use the app on my Gemini I have removed 2 stars from the rating.

This app is so good. Search a movie, and immediate access to the rotten tomatoes, wiki pages, trailers, everything. Shows similar movies and movie recommendations, basically just a one stop for everything movies, or actors. Works so well EDIT, PLEASE FIT THE LINK BETWEEN THE APP AND ROTTEN TOMATOES. IT DOESNT EVEN SHOW THE PERCENTAGE ANYMORE

Could be better. I'm looking for a movie app where I could filter and sort by rating, year and categories AT THE SAME TIME. Then, if I could mark the ones I've seen, it would be the perfect one. Amazingly, no apps have combined these options.

App works ok, but a lot of movies are missing ratings and reviews from either rotten tomatoes or meta, or IMDb. Sometimes they're missing scores from all of them. Checked the sites individually and the ratings are there, so something is not connected between this app and the sites for many films.

Lacking.. Is it me or can you not filter the categories at all? Useless app for discovering movies if not, imho //Revised 2 to 4 stars/// After using the app for a while, I've worked out all the filters in the discover section, still would be nice to be able to filter/sort the trending pages etc by genre and rating, but as it is now, this is worth paying for add free.

Great app! Good functionality and love being able to view trailers and upcoming releases so easily. Could benefit from being able to rearrange the tabs so that the ones you are most interested in are more easily accessible

So it's a good app. I think it's very useful but I have one suggestion to the devs. Please make it possible for us to search movies by director, producer, actor, or any prominent crew member. Everything else that the app does is pretty much perfect.

I use the app frequently. It does the job, but it is irritating how the movies seem to be in no particular order. "Now Playing" has two month old movies near the top. Why? I often have a scroll a lot to find a new movie.

Very good app for finding and keeping movies in your own lists. I would appreciate very much if it could be possible to move titles between lists defined by user. Thanks anyway.

My search for best movies and TV shows apps end here. The layout was near and clean. It is one of the best apps for entertainment in play store.

Hey developers please don't abandone this app! This is a gem of its kind! There are so many applications available like this but there are some features which I have found only in this application! Please update this application and make it compatible with latest Android versions by bringing dark mode, bottom navigation bar etc. Please don't abandone this app! 😔

It could be so much more: Surely you would translate fòreign film titles? , to be above the rest like IMDM etc; just add plots, synopsis of forèign movies. Nice try so far ...

I love this app, one thing that would be a nice feature to add though is favoriting actors/directors and then we could get notified when they are making a new movie/series.

I like this app but 3 things that immensely improve this app. 1. Dark mode 2. Rating near the title without clicking on each title to see it's ratings 3. Proper ordering ( use some criteria for ordering rather than group them randomly.

The app has one job to let you filter and find your favourite movies but it doesn't even have a filter, just showing the list of movies doesn't help.

1.Great app but unlike other TMDL apps it doesn't have a recommendation tab under similar movies, so please add it 2. Please add a feature where we can see other user's lists.. 3. Make ui attractive and instead of hamburger menu, a bottom bar will be a good approach I think

Thank you. So I think it's better to change the name of "Actors" in search page to "Actors & Directors" for example. And I'd like to be able to tap on director's name in info page to go to their dedicated page.

Love this app, but can you please add build in video player, like i don't want to leave the app every time i want to watch a trailer.

You should add 2 more features it's become the best app in playstore for movies guide:- 1st where the particular movie or series is streaming. 2nd recommended features so, users get recommend movies for them.

best app to access TMDB I've found. But please allow the saving of sort orders. It is annoying to reset them every time. Otherwise a great app!

I like the app I'd give it five stars but for tv shows why isn't there a way to pick the season and jump right to it!? Instead you have to scroll down every episode of every season to get to the season i want.

Found, used and enjoyed this app mainly for the interfacing with Rotten Tomatoes i.e. you would press on the rating and would link to RT movie's page. Now there is no rating whatsoever nor a link. Neither for the rest of the agents (IMDB, TMDB). Really hope the problem is temporary.

Wow impressed with all the features after flixter completely ruined their app I came here, this is way better with tons more resources. Good work!

useful to see scores from different sources. however there will be a big banner ad on bottom of your screen all the time.

Just perfect! The features are amazing and works fine, but the interface could be a bit better.

Since this only interfaces w/TMdb--and it will not retain login permission from one tap to the next, this app is pointless. I did not know about TMdb before, thanks for the tip, I'm sure there are other apps that do work with it.

I like this app if there was one thing I would change though it'd be nice to be able to input when you watched a movie or tv show. otherwise it's good and I recommend it.
