Not sure of this developer is still working on updates, as it's been years since the last one, but I really hope more are forthcoming. I would easily give this 5 stars if audio from other users was truly mutable (audio randomly pops in, very loud). The default should be private rooms. Why would I ever want to hear sounds of strangers watching other movies? And the re-center function is critical. Otherwise, this app is pretty genius in how it recreates the feel of being in a theater.

Can you plse make imax version free...i just want to experience once..... And how the hell can we change the seats?... And plse make the lighting dim in theatre and reflect on the walls... That create good cinematic experience... Like irsu vr

Hands down the best VR theater app I've found. However, file navigation is kind of... bad. I couldn't navigate to my phone's SD card, and had to move my movie to my internal storage. Also, it would be nice to be able to select the movie before entering VR. I've not yet had an opportunity to try the connected movie feature via Facebook, but it looks interesting.

It is an amazing app and it has amazing visuals. It let's you feel like you are inside a very well designed theater. Just two things First, the screen keeps tilting horizontally little by little and you have to keep rotating your head to keep looking at the screen. Horizontal Screen lock needed? And second, I loved the scenery at the beach, but the characters sitting around (even though it feels good to have them there) are very ugly. Put cute characters 😌. And, I can't see the Beach 😭

Great app overall! Here are few things that requires improvement: 1. Fix the bug which causes the app to freeze once I change seat in middle of a session. Though it doesn't happen at the very beginning. 2. Selecting a file is a big hassle from the inbuilt file explorer. Let us allow to select the file from our default File manager. 3. The video should resume from the point it was left in the previous session. Overall good work, a few tweaks to the interface will go a long way in terms of UX.

I am a developer. The simplest thing in a VR app is the rudimentary ability to re-center the view. the fact that so much great work was put into creating the environment and no one bothered to do enough UX testing to realize that people were going to need the to re-center the screen... it's absolutely unbelievable. Just add a simple button to re-center the view. It should have been the first thing that went into your UI.

the app itself is good, however, i have a big problem with the audio. for the most part, when you join into a "party", there's someone breathing deep into their phone, someone using a speaker so you hear everything they're watching, someone who's way too talkative, and the worst part is that you csnt completely mute them, at least, thrre isn't an obvious way to. the volume slider only makes them quiet, but in slow or quiet films, you can still hear them. suggestion? Single Player Mode.

great f*k*g job fellas. only thing there should be I think is that if we could choose during media playback, weather we want to lock gaze/pov on video that is playing instead of it moving according to our head positioning. I understand it is necessary to be able to move the head to choose the options. but I think if this setting is on, we should be able to play/pause with tap on the screen and scrolling the video timeline should be by scrolling left (previous) or right (right).

The visuals and concept are phenomenal but the app is buggy. Most of the time changing seats would lead to me staring at a black screen and needing to restart the app. The ui is unresponsive very often when watching a movie(ex: if won't pause). also the menu pops up too easily when I dont want it to, i won't even be looking down to trigger it. Please add .srt subtitle support. I wish Facebook wasn't used for the invite system.

This was an excellent theatre and player for movies in VR. The movement was smooth and the video overall looked nice. I myself have a headset that does not have a "select" button for my headset, this is one of the few apps that supports my headset so that is good. The reason for a three star rayon is because of the lack of "mute" functions. It is the most frustrating thing in the world, being annoyed by random trolls who blast through their microphone and ruin your VR experience Otherwise 5 star

Great app but needs some slight improvements, like the ability to completely mute people in the theater because I can still hear people talking when the volume is turned all the way down. Add private lobbies. Also please add a re-center bottom, I hate having to close the app, and opening it back up everytime it goes off-center, also add a button to hide the menu bar. Again really great app, just needs some minor improvements.

Graphics are awesome, but still needs more basic improvements. Like an option to stream video from a link or a pc and option to pick subtitle file from sd card. This will be a huge advance as a beginning. Thank you for your hard work. Don't undertand why people give bad rating for this app, it is the best of it kind. Developer very responsive and working day and night to improve it, in one week there has been 3updates with major changes, if they will continue like this, at the end of this year this app will be number one vr player with any feature we want. Thank you for your hard work

The implementation of watching with friends is absolutely amazing on this app. However, I will add a point the others might not have mentioned, which is the ability turn around by touch, I find it quite hard and irritating to be controlled by 360 degrees mode. Adding the feature of turning around by touch would be so helpful.

It's seem CINEVR time is too busy to respond to their users. Considering it's a free App I appreciate their efforts towards this App, but it requires major improvement in user experience. 1. Fix this progress bar or menu whatever you call it, it's very annoyingly popping-up multiple times while watching movies, 2. It's the other users voices which cannot be disabled completely and 3. Most important, need an option to reset the screen if we changed our body posture to any angle (Laying on bed).

You guys almost have a perfect vr cinema experience but their are small things that prevent this app getting a perfect rating. 1. The idea of watching a movie via a vr cinema is an incredible idea but the problem is being with random strangers when going inside making this pretty useless, there is no way to make a private session and no way to mute others. 2. Drifting seems to be a big issue with this app. Even when completely still as humanly possible, the app has a issue of slowly moving.

This app is not opening. Even after doing everything. You didn't open

Whenever I sign into my Facebook and try to add a friend to my theater, it says "Sorry, sounds like you have no friends" and that's it. No options to add friends, no options to invite friends, nothing. The setting is amazing, and the ability to watch from my library is super cool! Too bad I can't do it with my friends, because this app is dumb.

Old version is good but this version so much bad no vr side by side settings waste of net wasted app

Its really good, no ads, no bs, but the problem i have with it is that, whenever i play a movie/video, there is a chance i accidently foward the movie or backward. Can you add in a menu lock so the video player menu doesnt pop up whenever your trying to relax. Also i recommened that there should be a single player and a private mode, so if you wanna see a movie bye yourself or if you want to invite friends without any random strangers

I rated your app four stars but many improvements are needed such as you need to get your app officially listed on Oculus quest 2 store. Also the network function does not work. I can access my network files on other players that are free like big screen who has about 20 free screens to be honest I do like the quality of cine VR screens better. You guys also need a streamó desktop function

i like the annimation and the cinema design, but there still have a lot of bug.. the screen drifting slowly to the right, and the worse things is no option to recenter the view..oh and also i can hear other ppl who online like talking or somethin and the most annoying is buzzing sound from their mic but there is no option to mute them, i can turn the volume ppl down to 0 but i still can hear them.. that major bug u should fix it.. thanks for the free app anyway, my fav VR Cinema so far 🤩👍🏻

I would given have 5 stars as it has great visuals and i m loving the design of the theatre ,it also has great 3d sounds but while making it 3d it is decreasing the sound. 3d is not that important but it should be as loud that i can hear atleast. Its good for songs but while playing movies with that has low audio files, i'm not be able to hear. Please do something. Im loving the app but thats making my experience worst . please dont add any effect on the sound. Let it be original.

Its okay but I wish you can change the resolution of the VR but you can't nor can you increase the size of the screen when in VR mode because everything goes extra small in detail so there is alot of artificial pixels plus the development of this app stopped long ago back in 2018 so there no hope for an update on this app. But the funny part is you can rent movies on the Iphone verison but not on the android verison.

It seems OK but there it no way to recenter if somehow the screen moves so when I turn my head or move it around while trying to adjust things I find I am looking at the side wall and can't find any way back. So far found others where it does and will prob use them till i find a way to do it

I think the app is awesome. My suggestions are: first, to be able to correct drifting with something like a head . The second is to be able to disable audio of people that are not in your party. Currently I hear everyone's audio.
