On previous Android versions it worked flawless (last was 8.0.0). Now, on my Android 12_SP_May it remains invisible. Please HELP! The author has no email, his website does not exist.

One of the best if not the best battery widget app you can get highly recommended.

Its the simplest n most beautiful battery circle widget. I have downloaded around 10 widget but none of them satisfies me except this one. I have one request. Pliz upgrade it so that it would show the correct battery in my android KitKat. It fails to sync with the original battery level. But it was working well in android jelly bean.thanking u in advance and do keep up the good work

I love the minimalist design of this widget, but it has become too unreliable for me to give it a good rating. Since I updated to 4.4.2 on my Nexus 4, it only displays the correct battery level sporadically, often becoming stuck on a certain reading and never refreshing. After this is fixed by the developer I'd be happy to give this a four or five star review.

1. NO Permissions! 2. Seems to work as advertised. UPDATE: Has recently started crashing when I try to access battery settings or even when tapping to open the widget. Might be related to my recent upgrade to Android Marshmallow. Unfortunately this widget hasn't seen any updates in almost 3 years so I'm not hopeful for a fix.

Changes made to the widget don't seem to update right away, sometimes it never updates, so you have to reset and start over. The number doesn't go up when you are charging, and it says 0% when it is really at 100%. Update: this app seems to be getting less stable as time goes on. NEEDS bug fixes!

I've happily used Circle Battery Widget with several phones for several years, most recently with a Droid RAZR MAXX and a Droid 4, both using the Android Jelly Bean OS. I just upgraded to two Motorola Moto X phones running KitKat 4.4. Circle Battery Widget is not working properly anymore. While either of my phones is charging, the CBW display does not update at all, and remains at the initial reading until the phone is disconnected from the USB charging cable. If I go to Settings/Battery, I can see the proper incremental state of charge throughout the charging period. A fix is required. I'm uninstalling and looking for a reliable alternative.

One issue: on my Nexus 7 (2013) running Android 4.4, the widget sometimes is slow to update the battery level. Pressing the widget and dismissing the setup screen results in the battery level update. I have not seen a similar problem on my Samsung Galaxy Nexus that I have had the widget on for almost 2 years.

Best battery widget by far because it's so customizable and has such a small footprint. I just wish the widgets were resizable. Great minimalistic look though! Wasn't showing updated battery reading after KitKat but the developer fixed that quickly. Top notch app, just needs to be resizable.

Having looked at so many battery apps, I would say that this is the best I have found, not only does it look good with nice propertions, but it is easy to setup however you want. Well done to the developer for making such an effective app.

Best battery widget ever created by humankind and probably the best that will ever be made. This widget deserves a place on the Dalai Lama's homescreen. Every time he looked at it, he would smile and remember that, like his phone's battery life, impermanence is innate in all things.

Worked without a hitch until I updated to 4.4.2 kitkat. From time to time threw widget does not update properly, but if you tap on the widget and go inside 1 or 2 sub menus, the widget will return to working normally. Hopefully the developer fixes this! Sent an email and waiting for feedback!

It's. my favorite battery widget yet, as far as aesthetics go, but it has absolutely no function beyond showing the battery's charge level. It'd be great if it had the functionality of the Geekyouup battery widget, but I think that all that this one really needs to replace it on my phone is a charging indicator. I find it irritating that when I'm changing my phone, it doesn't give me the little lightning bolt icon beneath the power level. Add that, and I'll forget geekyouup and give 5 stars. Thanks.

I've used this widget for years, but when I got my new phone I went in a different direction. I've decided to come back but it doesn't appear in my widget list too add to my home screen. I've uninstalled and reinstalled 3 times, still no luck. I still gave a 4 star rating because it's excellent, but I can't install on a Nexus 6 running 5.1.1. 5 stars if I can ever get it running.

I have used the widget for years on my Nook Color, Asus TF700 and Nexus 7 with many Android flavors. However on KitKat (Nexus) it is flaky at best, and on CM11 (Nook) it freezes immediately. So I've had to move to a different widget. I'll certainly come back when it's fixed!

It's a perfect and simple widget app, but unfortunately it doesn't update unless you open and close it. Maybe it's because I use 4.4.2 and you didn't optimize the app for kitkat. I would give 5-stars if you fix that. Thanks.

The app was perfect on 4.3 but now on 4.4 it only updates when i click on the icon and exit again, leading to misleading levels...

Great looking app but buggy on Nexus 7, Android 4.4.2. I often have to tap it and then it will display correct battery level. Note to developer: I would have emailed you directly but there is no contact info provided. Thanks.

Installed this on my nexus 5 running Nova launcher. Looks nice but it freezes constantly. Any changes I make in the settings don't take effect unless I remove the widget from my desktop and then put it on again. will try it again and change my rating once this is fixed as I love the look of it and I'm guessing that it's a compatibility issue rather than a bad app seeing that it generally gets a high rating.

Been using for over 5 years on all my devices, but on my new kit kat phone, it just stops updating the battery level and freezes on one number for days. Please update the app, as they're isn't another app like this!

Mic. J. W. May 10, 2017

I'm changing opinion for the third time. First widget was constantly freezing and despite I like the design and idea I give you 2*. Then I thought I've found the cure by restore default values and give you 5*. Unfortunately it works for a while only and to see battery status I have to restore again and again. Fix it please then I'll come back with 5*.

I downloaded this widget to replace another one that didn't give me the battery percentage. I thought it was cool to see the actual percentage. It's great that the widget is resizable. My biggest problem with this is that it disappears. I have to power down and reboot to get it to display again.

Rag. D. Feb 27, 2014

It might just be my phone but sometimes the app freezes and doesn't give me the correct battery percentage.

Jon. B. Jan 22, 2014

Not working on Nexus 10 with 4.4.2 - doesn't update automatically anymore This used to work fine on my nexus 10 and would update with the % automatically. Since the 4.4.2 update, it no longer updates automatically and requires me to click on it to get an update. I love(d) this widget - please fix it!

Ace. O. May 15, 2015

Works brilliantly. Uses almost no resources as far as I can tell, and needs no special permissions, unlike more popular options. My only qualm is that, at least on my Motorola, you have to remove and replace the widget every time you make a change in the settings.

A. G. u. Mar 23, 2014

Used to work well. Ever since Android 4.4 update, the widget would get stuck and you would need to touch the widget and cancel it to get the widget to update. I've seen this has been a problem but no fixes yet. STILL NO FIXES!
