Does not function well, stopped working when I had to attempt to load on a new phone. Slow and clunky when it did function and it is too difficult to end a call. I could not ever receive calls via the jabber account. Also, stopped functioning when I changed devices leaving me unable to make work calls. Needs a lot of improvement.
App improvements - add an ability to update My Profile. Settings status doesn't show anything¿ why have it there... Implement an App-wise DarkMode per system theme setting. Custom Tab badly implemented, and poses a security risk... webview is not that save... you have Display on the settings which redirects to a new Activity page to toggle Show Contact photo? Why.. do this, instead implement Show Contact Photo as its own setting option with a toggle switch.
It's not a real phone call. It activates the notification tune, which continues to play over the conversation. It needs to be refreshed from day to day to continue working. Who can be bothered with that? It is poorly integrated with the phone.
What I want: My work phone app to make and receive calls using the company directory. What I don't want: My work phone app accessing my phone's (personal, obviously) contact list; pretending it's a calendar and accessing my calendar; accessing local files for whatever reason; doing basically anything other than the basic features I'd expect of my work phone. Please finish making the basic functionality, like accessing the WORK directory, work before vomiting out the pointless bloat features.
Useful feature for voip calls to cellphone. But app will intermittently be inactive and despite my setting being on to notify if not connected, I never receive that notification and end up having to restart the app to connect to the phone services again. Unreliable phone feature with constant disconnects. Background connection no longer works with newest update
Constantly have to reconnect. Most the time it doesn't recognize the sign-in and have to reconnect many time before it works correctly. Once it does, it works well. 🙂
App does not allow me to edit information already in the app. It also keeps information from previous data inputted into App 'Contacts' which is not wanted. Overall - Poor user interface.
When it works, it semi works as call quality is abit glitch. Has some issues with medium to low cell reception areas (2 bars or less) Most of the time it doesn't work though. Whether it be not being able to connect to the server for unknown reasons to having issues with dropped calls this app either needs refining for better reception and call quality or an asterisk is needed to denote a link between the server and this app for call quality purposes
Just doesn't work on the Android phone or iPad without constant reinstall type hassle. When it works it is fine but just not a viable replacement for a work phone yet on my experience.
Very buggy. I have to uninstall and reinstall sometimes every morning. It works when it works but I know there will be issues at some point.
Very touchy app. Not impressed. Frequently calls don't come through and drops calls. I've been using this for 2 years as only option that integrates with my companies phone system. I would change if possible. This app has not worked the last 2 days and I have uninstalled and reinstalled 3 times now. Finally working today.
Very unreliable! When roaming between WiFi APs and changing between wifi and mobile data, the connection breaks and doesn't automatically reconnect. When I look, then I notice that phone services needs me to sign in again. Sometimes, when answering call, they can't hear me until I call back.
Constantly freezes. Voice messages get lost. Constantly need to reinstall. Calls cannot go through.
This never works right, Cisco needs to invest way more into their app devs. Currently working on a huge cucm project and it has been extremely difficult due to sloppy software.
Icon no longer shows up on the top of my phone screen so I have no clue if I'm signed in our not. I've uninstalled, reinstalled, reset all app permissions, etc... no luck.
Update: Notifications issue has returned. "Notifications no longer working. I've tried everything... Clearing settings (resetting Jabber). Changing notification settings, even moving them to Urgent. Signing out, Clearing cache and Data, uninstalling, restarting the phone, then reinstalling. None of this has caused notifications to function again!"
I use this app for work. In the last 2 weeks it has hung out multiple times resulting in me having to delete the app and re add it. It will randomly stop working.
I want to love this app, but it does not always work. When answering the phone, sometimes there is no one there, but hey do go to vm at least. Many times I have to call back out of the app, it cuts in and out. Also speaker phone would be nice, hard to hold a cell phone and type.
Terrible up to configure, there are so many settings that interfere with calls that app never works properly
Wow! This app is bad! No other app ever asked to be excluded from power saving. Jabber has been around a long time and this is the best they can do? I wish I did not have to use this. I just force stop it when I am off the clock and have no trust in this app. I also don't want an icon in my notifications bar UNLESS I HAVE A NOTIFICATION!
It's good and convenient but sometimes connectivity issues affect call quality. Good news is I walk with my office in the pocket!
Terrible app. Rings once then diverts. Can't take calls via Bluetooth despite it saying it's connected.
When it works it is fine but unfortunately it doesnt always work, in fact I spend more time trying to log in or restore my connection than actualy using it
Voice quality is very poor, and incoming often go to VM after only one "ring" tone. But it is the best our IT has been able to offer for remote workers during COVID, so we take what we can get. I dont see any ads..which is good.
Connection is not good keep missing calls which are from my job. Always tells me to contact my system administration for assistance and when I do this they tell me nothing is wrong. Always have to uninstall and reinstall the app several times a day to get some working function. Very poor.
People can't hear me, they're always saying it sounds like I'm underwater. I've reset it , restarted the phone. Doesn't always help :( app doesn't use a lot of data so that's a plus at least.
Signs me out several times a day saying there's a new configuration. I'm having to respond to voice-mail rather than answering the live call which is not preferable. Reinstalling didn't seem to help. Please stabilize the app and send an update.
Unstable app. Constantly crashes and/or drops calls.
Even though network is fine, sometimes people cannot hear me. Also, on my cellphone it has started freezing and I have to reinstall every hour or so for it to work again.
Call audio goes out after 5 minutes of talking, one party can hear you but you can't hear them. The only fix I have found requires me to sign out and sign in again. Chat functionality works well. I'm seeing some improvement. The jury is still out though. I've added a star though for the more recent performance.
