This app is alright. The UI and design is smooth enough, and the $40 premium version has a large enough question bank to be useful. I also set it to give me push notifications to study, which helped remind me. However, I found the questions to be low quality. It seems that someone simply read through a textbook and made questions out of random passages for a good 15%. It helped me study over the holiday break while I was on vacation, but if you can use a large book instead, I'd save your money
A really great app that helped me passed. Their support team was really responsive too. BUT do NOT use this as your only source to study from/take practice tests. Docked one star because the material was a little dated when I was actively using it. It has been since updated and is current, so you should be good to go unless the test changes. Good luck and thank you too the team.
I am being forced to give this app only 3 stars because it repeatedly looses my account information and also looses my progress. When that happens I have to go back through the login process after which it not only has lost my progress but also has forgotten that I have purchased the Premium Package subscription. The app has a "restore purchase" link (not obvious) which I finally realized was tappable (shouldn't have to do this). The first time it happened tapping that did restore my Premium Package status but as I mentioned it lost my progress. It just happened again today, we'll see if it actually remembers that I'm a Premium subscriber or if I'm out the money. Too bad the account management is so poor. Aside from that major glitch the app itself functions well. Clearly much thought has been given to the test contents. As to how well it actually prepares a student for the exam, it's impossible to know until one has actually taken the exam.
Most questions fall into 1 of 3 buckets. Hilariously easy, straight definition, or totally irrelevant to the CISSP. It's a lesser version of boson. Don't use it as a primary material. Use it when you're falling asleep or on the can. Not worth $30 for the full version.
Used this when I studied for CISSP. It cannot be your only study material but is a great aid. I used this and the free Sunflower CISSP guide (I made flashcards from it). Passed first time after 2 weeks of study - reviewing my notecards and 100 questions per day. As for cost, if you're spending $700 on a test, I dont think $40 is too much to make sure you only pay 1x... Docked one star due to glitch where it keeps giving you the same quiz. You have to re-install if that happens.
Aside from the Conrad texts, this app was the most helpful toward my CISSP pass. The progress metrics are nice to highlight your weak spots, and being able to do this from my phone made studying more accessible. I recommend this to anyone starting their CISSP journey.
Too much effort to get 10 free question a time. Be more generous. 2 stars are for the 10 questions with explainations. Can't test more questions to see if there are wrong explaintions provided in other questuons. The other star is for the randomise sequence of the four answers for same question to prevent the brain for memorising answers without reading.
This app helped a lot in preparing for the exams with very detailed explanations for right answers. However, it would be helpful to have explanations on why the wrong answers were wrong and also to be able to take a test consisting only of the questions you got wrong.
Paid for the premium so I could study each domain as I read them. Trying to just do domain 2 and it keeps giving me a mix of domain 3 questions. Also doesn't seem to have any scenario based questions which other apps do. Seems like it'd be a good app if you didn't care which domain you were studying.
Erased all my progress and made me sign up with an email address (so they can market to me and sell my data presumably). Never got my progress restored after signing up. Constantly tries to push their other services like tutors.
This is NOT updated for the 2018 exam. That can easily be seen because all the references are to 2015 and they use deprecated models in their questions. How do I get a refund? ALL of the references on the questions are to 2015 materials/guides. You say you updated the questions, but the fact that you did not update the references means you're either lying or did not perform the due diligence to update your material. Either way it is now an outdated app that should not be used for the 2018 exam. Since you have not worked with me on this I have issued a dispute on the charge with my credit card company.
I used this app during my cissp preparation and i have to say that, this app helped me to memorize the concept. I would recommend not to use this app to determine if you will pass or fail, but use this to check your understanding and where you want to improvise.
When launching app on Huawei Mate 20. The loading icon keeps spinning. Only when I click on the contextual menu option then I can access to the app. Pls improve.
I've never taken the exam and am uncertain if the content is good. The interface sounds okay to me.
so far so good. I wish for $40 there were more questions and direct links to more information when you miss the answer and not just a short blurb.
Tried almost all the free CISSP study apps and this one is by far the best! Hopefully they add more questions to the paid version.
No longer useful. App was abandoned March 31st, 2021. Directs you to download a different, newer app.
They made a subscription version OVER the paid version. And is way more expensive that is not even worth it anymore.
I tried a few apps, and this was the best CISSP practice test app I used. Cheaper than most of the online test engines. Well worth it.
Nice app. Good questions with explanation. QOTD metrics chart is incorrect, always shows 100% correct.
Good app to learn the basics of CISSP modules. Best thing is that the solutions are provided for each question to make the user understand
Used to be great app. Cannot reset my password. Error: unable to reset password. Note: I have paid for this app.
This is not for exam question , but its good for get some of the knowledge base.now they have issue with data base for two weeks .I cant study any more
Good app, but the free version is very limited. I think the upgrades are expensive.
So far the practice questions seem relative & intuitive. I have no other comparisons at this time however once I pass the test I'll come back to update my rating.
Havent used this in awhile, tried to reset password and it wont allow me to reset password.
simple and can answer questions and learn on the go. excellent tool
I paid for ultimate when I started my journey last year, and it was worth it. It updated in 2020 and at first I was mad I lost my progress... But it worked out, I went through the new questions. I ended up passing my test recently. While this wasn't the only resource I used, it was certainly helpful in building confidence and allowing me to quiz everywhere I went.
