Bust App for studies and for university!

Almost all my references transferred over and I think this app has a potential. I made a bibliography on the app and it showed up on the Web page stright away too which I found very handy :-) Not as visually appealing as the Refme was but hope something will be done about that. It's 4 stars for me today as there is a room for improvement, but pretty decent job so far :-)

I'm getting the "not connected to Internet" message as well. I went into the settings and permissions to see if I could change them (not sure why they want access to the microphone anyway) and got the message this was designed for an older version of android. Still can't connect to the Internet. I loved refme, it did everything I wanted. Was willing to give cite for me a try (though is it true it will only store a bib. for 7 days?) but I'm not sure I want to invest the time and effort to even get into it. Refworks here I come (and that's not as intuitive as refme)!

Ok so I was made aware of the move and have managed to access the internet version of cite this for me, I have downloaded the app but cannot log in yet. This might take a few days for the transfer which is ok provided all the bibliographies I've made transfer over as only the latest one is ahow on the internet site. I hope to rate this 5 stars when the transfers are completed but till then you are stuck with 3

The scanner on the app does work pretty decently BUT the server and the service itself is spotty and has poor reliability and uptime. I can't tell you how many random times I'd go to scan a book and it doesn't recognize the book but then the next day that same book scans just fine. They need to have a "server is down" or "under maintenance" message. Also the $10/month to keep the service is way overpriced. They only offer one type of subscription tier. They don't offer a long-term or lifetime subscription.

I had a great ref me page, they promised me my bibliographies would come across, I was willing to be held to ransom and pay for premium access so as not to loose my work. However this did not happen, my work appears lost and this site is very poor indeed much more complicated and difficult to navigate. Stay away.

The web version looks very good, I dislike the app because I keep receiving an error message stating no internet connection. Once remedied I'm sure this will change to 5*..UPDATE: issue fixed and as suspected this app works great! Highly recommended

Unusable. I can't log in as it says I have no Internet connection. I have both WiFi & mobile data on. Not happy as I'm a premium member who just forked out £6.99/month subscription for the web based service (which is also so woefully bad I'm pursuing a refund via paypal). Also, Word plug in is for Windows only and I have Mac. One star is too much and it's clear from other older reviews on the same issue that the developers have no intention of rectifying this issue. I wish I'd seen this app and their lack of response before I purchased their web based service.

In creasinlgy frustrated by this app not working and giving poorly completed references not correctly formatted or incomplete. Bring back refme. I cant delete references once added to projects. I added by mistake and now cant delete. Grrr. I was a happy refme user will be happy again if this gets fixed. Its also not as nice looking as refme in my opinion and isnt as easy or intuitive to navigate.

Used to be a brilliant app when it was still called "RefMe". Logged in today for the first time in a while and it's suddenly asking be to pay money to see my references made while it was still free! Holding them randsome!? I appreciate you'd want to make money from sucha a useful and convenient app but this is not the way to treat the users that made you so popular in the first place...

This used to be a good site and app, now it can't find any books,the app doesn't update my bliblography and I am typing out every single reference during my dissertation. This has not saved me any time at all to be honest. Poor at best

Absolute rubbish! RefMe was 10000 times more convenient, user friendly and visually attractive. This is a useless rubbish bin, I can't find my old bibliography. The sistem doesn't identify resources (tested with the ones I used before lol). A lot of useless functions! Bring back the old one! You created a student nightmare! I won't pay for this horrid absolutely user unfriendly app. Lol even in our uni they used to send us to RefMe, however, opinion about "a new version" is sceptical.

Ref me was so much better. This is ugly, slower and doesn't work with dois. Don't try and fix what ain't broke

Keeps telling me that it cannot connect to Internet and to check my connection even though I'm connected. Tried uninstalling and reinstalling...

Not happy. Cannot log in or connect. All my refme references are lost. Yep cheers then. Also saying no internet connection

My references are all wrong! Refme was so good at keeping my original references and now the features have gone with Cite this for me. Solent Harvard style is wrong and this comes right before my dissertation. The app is terrible too. It's easier just to import the references manually. And why should I pay for this? There are plenty of free referencing apps out there. Try Zotero.

Refme was great worked perfectly for Me. I was under the impression all my bibliography would be moved over bt NADA! Didnt happen. It doesn't even generate proper references.

I used this for years now, and now have lost reference lists, unless I pay a subscription. Very disappointing

Refme user here. When I wanted to add a book reference through the barcode, the app tried to open the camera and froze. I tried doing this four times before I gave up. Very bad compared to Refme that actually worked.

I really love how Cite This for Me gives me the ability to quickly cite resources. The barcode scanner is really quite amazing. Blimey!

Ref me was so much better - render this obsolete and bring back ref me . Look at the other reviews its the obvious / right thing to do for all concerned

Ref me was way better. For a while i could access my references and now i cant. It says my bibliography has expired and if i want to recover i should create an account. I tried and it said upgrade to premium and since i have to pay they wont give me access to my previous references. 👎🏾👎🏾👎🏾

Well I did have the ref me app which worked perfectly for me. Now it's changed to this and I too can not get past the first page without it saying I have no Internet connection when I definitely have. Why have they changed?? The old one was fine and I think it's a pretty unnecessary change really. Especially when so many people are now having the same problem

Camera for taking a pic of barcode doesnt work. Its okay in that I can add alsorts of different types of research and there is also alsorts of styles. Would be a 5⃣ 🌟 if the camera part worked though.

Awful can't even get past first screen as I'm 'not connected to internet'. So annoyed Refme has gone was so much more efficient.

No Internet connection. Not much to say. Used to work decent enough but now the app says I have no Internet connection when I do. Judging by the reviews I'm not the only one.
