The Citizens’ App records the achievements of the European Union.
It explains our current work, defines our future goals, and describes the European Parliament’s role in them.
It helps you to find different initiatives of interest to you by topic and location and updates you on their progress.
It’s searchable, shareable, personalisable and available now in twenty-four languages.

You can use the Citizens’ App to:
• find out what the European Union has done, is doing and plans to do for you.
• receive notifications about your interests.
• find out about events.
• find out about local and national initiatives on 20 different themes/topics.
• access multimedia content such as videos, podcasts and slideshows.
• search and filter lists and see your search results displayed on a map.
By tailoring it to your interests you can:
• add the events you're interested in to your own personal calendar.
• bookmark initiatives.
• rate initiatives using the feedback tool (1 to 5 stars).
• receive notifications about the issues that matter to you.
• share initiatives on social media or via email or text.
• display results in the EU language of your choice.
• access your personal data and choose what to do with your account.
• keep the same account settings across all your devices.

The idea is good, however the app has many bugs. For instance, on my Huawei MYA-L41 (Android 6), whenever I click on the map section, I am taken away from it. Sometimes, it does go to the map, but the app freezes. Sometimes the section "Europe and me" doesn't work. Needs more work and some way to report bugs.
Informative app. Nice layout. The only improvement lies in the sharing feature: (1) The forwarded message starts with an unneeded "I found a new item....", (2) to access the generated links the recipient must have the app installed (renders the link near useless on Social Media), (3) articles can't be saved as PDF files for archiving and sharing + Text can't be copied. Especially the near lack of being able to share the articles easily and to anyone in direct accessible form (2)+(3) is a bummer.
Full of valuable contents about Europe... BUT... The introduction screens keeps showing up, even when just taping back button from an article. The app keeps freezing/crashing despite last update, mostly when using the map. Content loading is quite slow. English is not the main language of any European country anymore, the app should be translated in every EU languages, but also the contents (many platform exists allowing community translation for apps)...
it lowers responsiveness of the phonw when its working.it needs a lot of improvement to operate smoothly. sometimes even touch the screen is not working. Find a professional to make the app. There are a lot of companies out there
Facebook login didn't work, said unable to retrieve email address, but creating an account manually worked fine. Great idea for an app, lots of EU initiatives exist and this app can tell you more about what the EU does both as a whole and in your local area. 👍
The app doesn't pick up my email address from FB even though it can be seen when editing the data. Then it hung when I added filters.
Very nice app, but why doesn't allowed me to log in with Facebook? Or can be integrated in the app some features, like having the option to sign petitions online without being redirected to the website. Thank you.
Buggy. Crashes constantly. The content feels too much like an advertisement, not enough useful information.
Old information (as in several years old!) on map based events, while the login system is a bad joke. I'm wondering if this isn't some information scoop scheme, branded as an official (and therefore safe) service...
Good idea, weak execution, buggy, bad design, probably overpriced for what it does... Almost sounds like the EU itself, maybe that was the purpose of creating this app :)
Content is interesting. But application is very poorly made. Buggy and lagging in every screen.
Super buggy, keeps freezing so can't really use it. Please fix it, it has potential.
The app is just to much laggy and have to much issues.. I don't know why this app was even added to the store before someone did test it.. I'm really disapointed about app functionallity.
App always reported < the app ubexpectedly stop running..> and not even appeared on the screen. //( ~LG 410, ~Android 4.01..16Gb SmartCard..??)
I really like the app and its purpose. there's room for improvement of course Edit: in the latest update the app seems not to be working
The idea of it is good. The application is super buggy and freezes my phone.
As an EU citizen, although sadly only until 31st October, it's great to know what is happening around our continent and Union. So user friendly 👍🇬🇧🇪🇺
Great app! The geographic breakdown of EU initiatives in different regions and the links to further information such as representation of the region in the parliament is particularly useful.
The app is interesting but IT objectivation is done at city level instead should have been done at activity level in order to achieve better filtering and statistical aggregation.
Great idea, absolutely horrible execution. With the money the EU spends, you would think they could hire a better team to write official apps. This app is way too laggy and unstable to be anything but early beta.
Freezing a lot and not localized permission questions. Very difficult to find some valuable information.

Crappy iPhone port. Broken functionality (Facebook login goes to an error, why have it?)
This app is extremely painfully slow and laggy and I'm using a note9
Only worked on initial installation. Stalls at loading screen. Removed.
I love the idea of this app but it still needs a lot of improvement. It freezes all the time and it keeps sending me to the intro screen every time I press 'back' in my phone. Also I'd like to see the date of some initiatives because it's useful to know if it's something new or outdated. I hope this gets fixed so I can give the 5 star rating it deserves
