Citrix Secure Mail

Secure Mail is just horrid. I can never tell if the app will ever open. Even when it does, I often have to clear the cache just to get it to open. If the app doesn't open consistently, then what use is it for communications? Been using it for years, across multiple devices, and it has never improved. If you are a business looking for a secure email application for mobile devices, I sincerely suggest you consider other option besides Secure Mail.

Images never show up in emails, even after clicking "show images" and "always show pictures from this sender." Highly frustrating, especially since this is a work email and they frequently want us to refer to images, graphs or tables

This app is by far the worst and my whole company uses it. It takes forever to load it doesn't sink with my a email on my computer, So when I send something it doesn't actually send, Or I am unable to find it on my computer in my send Box. It constantly glitches out.

Worst app for work email. Super slow to open and also for typing to catch up when writing emails. Takes forever to sync from email servers and emails have arrived up to 30 min later than on laptop. Now I am having to try to reinstall and reload everything because the app keeps crashing. If you want inefficient and hindrance to production, this is the app for you.

Hangs and freezes constantly. Slows even if you only sync 1 month of server contents, which should make it lighter to load. Disappointed and should be enhanced.

Constantly run into an issue where sent messages sit in the outbox and won't send. Thankfully I figured this out. I had 14 messages sitting in the outbox. Not good!

It is sooo slow to open on Android, and I've used it on several flagship devices. It opens immediately on iPhone.

This trash app makes work life more difficult. It is always sluggish and regularly fails to sync mail and calendars. Reminders don't always show up, even when the app is open. It's completely unreliable for basic business connectivity and coordination. If you are a decision maker in IT please use an alternative! Edit: I cannot send feedback to Citrix as all outgoing messages remain stuck in my outbox and Citrix's in-app feedback uses email.

You can't find any worst app in playstore than this. Heavy & weird. Depend on his mood to launch or to refuse. Non operational on Android 12 IU 4.

I have the daily reinstall problem... if not invalid certificate message on repeat and no ability to sync. This is buggy as hell and not fit for commercial use.

Terrible! It never syncs correctly and it constantly just jumps up and down, up and down, in the Inbox with a 'can't download message' error. I am constantly reinstalling the stupid thing or clearing the cache in the hope it will work, that is if it even opens to begin with! I wish my employer would switch to something else for our emails!!!

Most unreliable software ever. Stops working all of a sudden. Then you're left with the only option of reinstalling it.

The app rarely works. First off, it forces you to install all of their garbage Citrix apps. You can't just install this one. Secondly, the app regularly crashes, the keyboard rarely opens when trying to send messages, and, if your change your password and try to enter in the new password to update the app, the keyboard won't appear despite the cursor flashing in the password field, and then the app eventually crashes. Don't bother trying to use this. It won't increase your productivity. It'll just waste your time.

This app has never worked very well for me. Been using for almost 3 years now. Always had issues with it not opening and having to force stop the app and restart in order to get email. In the last 9 months, things have gotten worse, when I open the app after not using for a day, Secure Hub says the app is gone and I have to uninstall and re-install again. Probably had to do that over a dozen times. I just stop checking emails on my phone and open the laptop for a while I got so frustrated.

It works... But not great. Login is incredibly slow (multiple minutes), though this may have more to do with my company than with the app itself, hard to tell. The UI is also ok, but not great. Notifications that say you have an email, but share no details are mostly useless when you have to wait 3 minutes for the app to login after you click on it. The app slowly conditions you to not check your email due to the hassle.

The app was okay enough for very basic email needs, but since the update, I haven't been able to use it at all. It keeps saying redirecting to my inbox, but it just keeps spinning and not doing anything. I've tried resetting it and uninstalling and reinstalling to no avail. Real shame because I used this app a lot for work and can't anymore now.

This app is just as using any other email app. Topping the list of dislike items is no notification of new emails and calendar invites. I am using Android OS version on a stock Android phone, by the way. Second, its difficult to move emails to subfolders (small, drop down arrow on the right, does not work). Difficult to find settings. Poor signature options (text vs rich text).

This app along with Secure Hub is pure JUNK, My organization uses this for Exchange Email access on Corporate issued phones. I work in IT Support and I cannot walk down the hallway without running into someone with Secure app issues, If I don't see them in the hallway then they usually just come to my office. We got so many trouble tickets due to this system and the issues have not improved in the 4 years we've been using it. sometimes it will open and not take your pin, sometimes just a white screen other times it will go into a loop opening and closing. But most common issue is it just stops syncing. Only fix is to uninstall and reinstall which comes around every 3-6 months for most. I wish i had more than the 500 Char. limit to list more issues. VMWare's Intelligent hub and Boxer is vastly superior.

The app severely needs several features: 1) A landscape view when displaying the email list. Since only about 1/2 the subject is visible in portrait mode, one is forced to read the email to get the full subject. 2) Differentiated email notifications: only notify based on new invitation, new task, high importance, or from senders in my personal address book. 3) Text entry on calendar dates/times. The time entry is just weird and makes assumptions that can lead to multi day calendar entries.

The worst. Forced to use it through my employer. Takes forever to open attachments, send and open emails. Need to accept calendar invites multiple times before it finally registers. We're wasting valuable time during work trying to battle with these hiccups. Now it won't notify you for new emails. You have to manually go in and refresh which makes it very easy to miss emails and respond in a timely fashion. So, pretty much fails at everything you need except I guess it's secure?

I work at Citrix and use this app almost every day. SecureMail is adequate for email and calendar. Not as polished as some other apps in this category - relatively slow launch, lack of theming, but overall works OK. Notifications are not great, some ghost notifications pop up, cannot delete or mark as read from notification. Occasionally, the app locks up and stops fetching new emails, so have to remove account, reboot phone and add account back

What happened with the latest update? The app no longer checks for new e-mails, even though sync is set to 'auto'. I have to open the app and sync myself if I want to check for email. The app is connected to my work account, so it's a bit more then just annoying, not being able to know when work e-mail arrives.

It is slow, often has trouble retrieving emails. The app asks too often for a password (instead of using the biometric method). When this is needed, it often does not show in the app itself. You have to discover this by opening the Secure Hub. Recently have to reinstall frequently from the store. Downright a poor application to use. Sadly I am forced to use this for work.

I'm so frustrated with this app. Extremely poor integration with android! Can't state how many times I've had to uninstall and reinstall this app from my Samsung Galaxy phone. I'm fed up! This is what our company uses and if I had an option I would opt out! The amount of manipulation our IT team has to do to make it work is ridiculous! As of now, its still not working.

Having to use this app is a terrible experience. It will sent you tens of notifications every day to tell you that you can't take screenshots or that you are not logged in. This is appearantly so important that it steals focus from whatever else you are doing. The calendar sync is one way and won't tell you what a meeting is actually about. I could go on, and that for an app which is essentially just a mail viewer. It is quite sad indeed.

unfortunatly the rating system dosen't allow me to put a rating lower than 1 star. this app doesn't deserve any stars. - It stops synchronizing on its own. - sometimes i have to uninstall and install again to get it tk synchronize - i tried so many times but failed to synchronize the calender - loading embedded email images doesn't work all the time. - and on top of those crashes

If there was an award for the worst app ever built then definitely Secure Mail wins. Whatever it ads in security it takes 100000x away in productivity. In fact I use secure mail as the perfect example of how added security can be destructive to staff morale and productivity. I think if any team of developers actually went on a mission to create the worst app in the universe they would fail. Citrix team did it. What an achievement, congratulations!

This application was nice before.But recently not working in proper.Even I couldn't open it.please fix the problem.
