the bikes are nice. but the app is just horrible as well as support. they had some bugs that caused extra charges for me. if i didnt count myself, it would never be refunded. be aware, its a scam app! they cant solve a single issue for months (not possible to add a new credit card, not posdible to switch the account for a new phone). so better avoid it if you have alternatives.
Not easy to use. Can't see any sccoters on the map, only can see zones in Paris. Great idea but bad implementation.
I've changed my phone number and now I can't log in because they send an SMS to the wrong number. No phone number, email address or chat to offer any support.
The application does not work properly enough to use. It might be just not ready for foreign users and works with locals but I never was able to find out. Or read much of what might have been wrong. The English setting kept showing many parts in French. I also sent messages and they never got back to me so poor service there too.
Not very serious. SMS to validate the use of the application was never received. Instead, I get YouTube videos. Also, poor spelling... Too bad, although expensive, it's a nice idea. Edit: after 2 days of trying, I finally received the validation SMS.
Terriblé (trés trés!) absolutely useless. I haven't even ridden a cityscoot yet as onboarding process is impossible. 1) language keeps defaulting to French after selecting English. 2) The American flag against the language EN (English) is forgivable but cringe worthy. 3) Validating my credit card seems impossible. I've entered all my details & validated the active card payment but still cityscoot says I need to validate credit card. 4) my documents section is also non sensical!
10 frustrating minutes to stop the renting session in Milan. The instructions are in french doesn't matter that your app is set to English. To hard to translate few words. You should learn something from the competition. Better, more robust, stronger scooters. Sweet to use user friendly app. Next time my money goes elsewhere.
Dumb app badly designed. Cannot register as the app won't send me the code it seems that the app spontaneously decided to use the UK code for my number and won't allow me to change it. It also keeps defaulting to French which is annoying.
I am literally living a nightmare with this app and their customer service It has been a week now that I am not able to rent any scooter despite I have paid IN Advance for their 100 mn pack I have spent 32 mn over the phone with them but nothing has been solved They have promised to reimburse me for the unused minutes but still now nothing I canot access to anything!!!! This is the worst service app ever for me!!!
Everything reverts back in to French language after re opening the app, I constantly have to keep changing it in settings, why? I chose English from the beginning and I live in Rome. At least give me English or Italian.
very poor translation of the app. i chose EN still half is in IT and the most important info is in FR. need to improve translation of the whole app ASAP
it works, scooters are nice, app works fine. Problem is the price....15 euro for 45 mins....that's expensive like anything else here. to compare in Berlin better electric share scooters costs 3 euro per 30 mins or 20 euro for 12 hours
Not recommended! In Rome covers just a small central area, scooters always take minutes to lock after use! In general a bad experience! I'm deleting my account! Oh but wait : of course there is no simple "delete account " option! Why would it be...

the app shows me the scooters on the map only when I'm not logged in, as soon as I log in it doesn't see any scooter amymore. Moreover the app logs me out every time I close it.

In Paris region : not able to park in my neighborhood, while other neighborhoods have +20 unused scooters on the same moment frequently. Parking map should be reviewed in Paris regions.
Extremely annoying that the language constantly switches back to French. Unusable.
Really so so disappointed, the time of parking .the screen was off ( nothing on the screen), for 15 mnt I tried to stop the ride from my phone and the screen also ..after that I called the customer service..they just said sorry we don't have signal to it " réseau " . So I had to wait next to the scooter till they stop the ride for me... and they even didn't add more minutes on my account!!
The map doesn't work. There is a loading animation in front of it that never leave...

cannot sign in. portugals fiscal code not accepted. not user friendly process. tried contact assistance and did not pickup.
Worst, buggiest, stupidest rental app. At the moment is not functional any more. Customer support is non existent.

When a scooter gets a ticket, Cityscoot will charge you 15 euros for admin fees just to give your name to the authorities (ANTAI) regardless of whether eventually you'd recognize and pay the fine or you'd contest it and win!! Sounds like a good side hustle...for Cityscoot!
The app is not reliable. It works properly every now and then...

Amazing customer support to activate my account. It was surprisingly fast! 👏
Uploadig and document veryfing process needs work, I uploaded licence twice but no info from their side how long to wait, when it will be etc. So don't expect install and ride. App is terrible. Asks password a lot, keeps unsigning, can't find invoices etc. Scooter locking - spent 20min standing on side of the road trying to figure out what's wrong. App doesn't indicate nothing. They give me faq once in french then in Spanish. Just a mess. While riding a scooter is nice and I love it, the App 👎
