I like the concept of the game but there a are a lot of ads (you can skip though). The ads can be handy sometimes when upgrading you may get an ad instead to help. You also need over 100 farmers to have 20 of anything else its a bit absurd. It also keeps you going with missions and materials to build such as the upgrades. The upgrades may need you to expand your max wood or stone and it just keeps you going. I like that I haven't fully played through it yet but this is is my review for now.
Surprisingly good. It gives me weird Age of Empires feels for some reason. Maybe it's the way I have to manage food production and consumption. In any case, I'm really liking this so far. The graphics are pleasing, the music is charming, it all works well together. My only criticism (and it's early, yet) is that there doesn't seem to be much "active idling" to be done in the early game, however it progresses quickly enough that you're not often left sitting on your hands either.
I use to play this game when it was for the computer and it was like a flash game. I like it mainly because of how easy it is over time to build a giant kingdom and how the different gears work to make a complete kingdom. My only dislike is that the game is not 100% functional offline I would like to be able to upgrade without a wifi connection.
I like the game and all and eventually I'll get bored of it but i like playing it in spare time. edit 1: i don't understand why people are always putting one star reviews in just because they see one ad before playing. its most likely going to be the only one you see unless you stay on for like 45minutes which will rarely happen. so in regards to this i see no problem with an ad at the start-up. Kind regards Scales
Downloaded game. Started playing it enjoyed it quite a bit. After 4ish hours of relatively regular play I spent money to buy gold and remove adds because I was having fun. Played for another 3 is hours inbetween work. Got phone call, and had to send email and check bank account. Switched back to Civcrafter and the app reloaded. And I had lost all my progress and the adds were back. I don't know what happened but for both my progress and money spent to be lost are unacceptable in my opinion. I have zero intention to spend any more of my time on this game.
Relaxing game, smart set up, simple, the ads are very minimal, good 8-bit graphics. Well made overall. Does not force situations where you need to spend money. Being able to buy smaller amounts of gold... 50 or 100 for $1 would be a good option and would most likely boost sales.
It's one of the most fun games i've ever come across and i've been mobile gaming for 10 years! super fun, super crisp, super low on space and ultra low wifi/data consumption. Only complaint i have is with the ad's; but I saw that in another comment about how there is a way to turn the ad's off -- theres definitely no paid way -- I assume it has something to do with turning something off in the settings or with your phone. Either way definitely a 5 star from me. Keep the content coming devs!
Great graphics, responsive UI. A little too much silence for my taste, but I enjoyed the sound we did get. It was nice not chatting with my targets and attackers. I can't believe I pressed the same button over 10,000 times - I built a story of a tower all by myself. It would have been nice to be able to dump more stone into the tower with less effort.
I just discovered civclicker on PC and I wanted something similar on Android and this game was exactly like that and even had animations too which was cherry on top. Then I found out that you have to wait or either use gold to speed up the process which is annoying and I had enough of it from other Android games. You can either put ads in it or make it pay/wait for things to get done. I'm fine with occasional ads but to have to wait or use gold to get things done makes it no different than other Android games made just to make money by developers. Great way to ruin a good game. Otherwise it was a good game .
I get that the microtransaction currency has to have value, but as long as you don't mind tapping until your fingers are sore, it is ALWAYS faster to complete buildings/spawn people by tapping build 1 a bunch of times... spawning in bulk is pretty useless for this reason. It's an alright game, but it could sorely use some quality of life improvements.
This is a really great game where you can make you own civilization with a finger and make an army and raid places. One problem, is that it gets quite repetetive by the time you become around an empire. I have found myself deleting and re-installing a few times over about a 3 month period. Apart from that, its an amazing game
This is without a doubt my favorite clicker. It has the survivalist feel and charming pixel graphics of Oregon Trail, with a unique and exciting charm. I genuinely get excited seeing my little village grow, and I can't wait to see what else the game has in store. I honestly don't have any complaints other than the in-app purchases being too easy to activate (I'm a bit clumsy and would hate to accidentally push a button I don't want to) Other than that, this is practically a perfect game!
It's a good game simple, but in a good way it's not overly complicated. While it's not openly stated the game encourages constant growth. My main problem with it is the ads the way they put them in is when you change tabs, completely throwing the pace of the game off.
I was looking for a civclicker replica for android and found exactly that. However I don't understand why you take a perfect game and don't just replicate it normally. No, instead you add this non-sense of gold to time gate thing even more. It's already an idle game, why add the extra wait time which isn't in the original game. It's just annoying. Even to make x10 or x100 of anything takes extra time... really? I highly recommend people just play the original in their pc browser it's much better
Pretty fun so far. A fair amount of ads, but they're manageable, unlike many other games. 1 thing I think should be changed is the "Clan statement". I think you should be able to add a little more than just a few word. And maybe some info/rules. Also, chat should be changed so you can type after writing a few words instead of writing multiple messages.
This is honestly a fun idle, you don't need to pay for anything, you can just grind. I love the mechanics and the idea of fighting with other realms. You should increase the buy limit and maybe add a campaign. There's alot you can do with this game which is why I'm sticking around. You can also support the developers for a few bucks and remove ads.
ads are the average popup rate, not very creatively handled. simply pop up. Not very different from other games, and I have seen games use ads in much better and more immersive ways. gameplay is fairly good, can keep a guy like me, who jumps around games somewhat quickly, for around a few weeks, at least if it doesn't get stale too quick.
It's a tapping game with game mechanics that aren't deep at all. Few things to build, feels like you're making a village rather than a civ, very limited play. I lost interest after an hour because it felt repetitive and I had nothing to strive for. It's not a bad game at all, but it just didn't have enough to keep my interest after an hour.
Personally, I enjoy the game. It has a decent amount of depth for an idle game. The only things I would like to see added/adjusted to make this a 5 star game would be to make the multiplier apply to building towers and for there to be more objectives guiding late game to keep players engaged by providing goals. Overall, fun game.
Not an idle clicker. The game doesn't collect resources while offline which is a pain. Its more of an active clicker as you have to get things done live. Luckily the research and build times continue to count down in real time otherwise this would be unplayable to set large builds and wait for them to complete during live play. There are other small areas that need improvement like wonder building and towers (whats the point so much effort for such a little reward).
Very light on ads, unlike most games. Absolutely no need to buy ANYTHING, but there are options. Any purchase eliminates ads. The game is a straight-forward idle craft/survival game with technology trees, battles, and upgrades. Very enjoyable.
Pretty good game! There are ads, but very little, so they don't really effect gameplay. In this game you start an empire, build houses, hire workers, make an army, and more! The game has a tutorial at the start, so you can follow that! From the amount of tapping I had to do at the start my fingers hurt a little, But workers do it for you. I suggest tons of farmers, make sure food production isn't negative.
At first I thought there was no option to remove ads but then I saw the note that said "Ads removed with any purchase" so I just bought the smallest amount of coins. Great game if your brain likes a slow analytical grind. It has some balancing issues but overall very fun.
It's good. Quite fun if you're looking for a good idle game. The only thing that bothers me is the graphics. I think if this was more linear (like armory&machine) then the experience would be much better
Fun game, surprisingly addictive, can set it down after a little or a long while and still make progress. Gold is necessary to speed things up but not so much that it breaks the game or ruins play.
I bought something to kill the ads, then had to delete the app and reinstall, then the ads are back. Where in the world is the purchase restore button? I realize this is something for the lawyers to deal with the next set of ad purchase lawsuits, but I'd like an answer before hand as well.
I really enjoy this game. The concept is neat. HOWEVER it has forced ads. That is USUALLY an auto uninstall. I'd like to see the game grow, so what i think you should do is remove forced ads, and set up a system where people can choose to watch ads for gold or whatever. I'll hang onto the game for awhile but if no changes are made it goes in the discard pile with other bs. Yep.
