Decent game, similar to the Bull Run simulation on Amazon. Lost a star with the multiple crashes when trying to run the tutorial on Android 9. Lost another two stars when I played the first campaign and found the other 9 campaigns are pay to play. TL;DR glitchy tutorial, 2 f2p, 18 p2p, good game play
VERY unrealistic gameplay, as your troops miss a good 90% of shots they take and the enemy does bayonet charges 90% of the time, but if these were fixed, I would rate 5 star
Decent turn based civil war hex game. For all the haters out there, nineteenth century war is supposed to be hard. Maybe further develop your strategic depth and then your taticical skills will improve and you'll defeat the enemy instead of complaining. WORD
Great game! It freezes often but a simple minimize then maximize unfreezes it.
Game is way too hard, no strategy involved. AI just destroys your armies no matter what you do.
Its a great game...But i wish you can buy what unit you'll have on reinforcements or starting unit in the beginning for two players

You aren't playing a game when the enemy has double the men and they have cannon too.

Has anyone figured out how to beat "marshland assault" on "arsenal"? My boats keeping getting sunk well before I can take out the artillery no matter what I try it seems

Nice game. Need to change the rebel battle flag to the real CSA flag. Then again, I guess it is in battle. Nice work on the game so far.

Wish it had more levels
As with the other civil war games in this collection ..this is great. Little pricey if you pay...but love the gameplay. Units move a little faster in this version. Would be great to see the other versions updated across the board to reflect this version.
Very poor game play. Graphics were interesting, but actual functionality was terrible and largely illogical.
Can only play a few levels then have to pay... Good game just not really free as advertized.
It was a really good game but you should be able to do the hole campaign without having to pay $1 for each section you should have it be $1 fore the howl campane i thenk your amount of downloads would go up
It's a very good game but very heavy on battery wear, shame.
Played most of campaign still havent done damage with my muskets just bayonets.
Dont say it is a free game with in app purchases false statement you have to pay for each level of play
You can't do any damage by shooting which really lets the game down

Nothing more than pile on by the ai. No real full known battles just a bunch of one-sided fights where no matter what you always end up with less troops. As the Confederate player, yes, but Union always understrength...no. You can win, but it is a stretch when the ai units get a every so in so turn where nothing can hit or stop them. Playable...fair, recommended...partially. Historically accurate...no.
