CL Mobile for Craigslist

This app is functional; I can manage my post with no problems. If I had to characterize this app, I'd say it works like two separate apps. Managing your posts is strictly old school craigslist whereas the menu selection is definitely up to date. Why is this catching my eye? Because there is no EXIT from the main menu. You have to go back to the posts to logout. Otherwise, a good app.

This app was very helpful until they updated it toward the end of winter. Now whenever I try to search for posts on it, it ALWAYS freezes within 1-2 minutes and has to be restarted. Very frustrating and makes it damn near impossible to search because I always have to restart my searches and only get about 30 seconds to browse before it stops responding again. I had hoped it would be fixed after many released updates since then, but no dice.

The app starts out OK then slows down considerably. At first thought it was my phone so I switched to my high end phone and it did the same thing. Other apps on phone work at proper speed but this app grinds down. Something wrong with the app loading pages. Maybe it's the ads you run at the bottom of the screen hogging the data exchange. Being able to access seller contact info is useful and so not inclined to UNINSTALL app, but right now it's not competing well with other apps that are as fast as they should be.

The app is good, when it doesn't freeze up. I can be looking at a rental property and everything is gine one minute and then the next, not be able to tap on anything. I have very good wifi, so that's not the problem. it's very frustrating becsuse I have to keep closing the app and start it again.

It's so much nicer to look at. It's easy navigation lets you see all your options right away. fast to use and its so easy plan and simple. You can set up more than one city with the more than one city controller and option bar.much more categories to use and you can ask just about any thing that you might e having trouble with. Can't wait an see who ill meet on here.

I'm always having issues with it. Slow or refusal to load pages. Screen freezes, pages won't change when i try to move around. I usually end up having to turn my phone off just to exit and get back to my home screen. I have issues about 90% of the time. i don't have a computer right now so my phone is the only way to access internet. otherwise I'd delete it.

Rating so it will stop prompting me to rate. Minus one star for being annoying. Update: minus another star because the app regular glitches out now. I uninstalled and reinstalled, did not fix the problem. Current version of the mobile platform is poorly formatted and struggles with basic loading on an otherwise smooth-running device. Images, text, and links are all over the place.

This is the most unresponsive app on my entire phone (I'm always using it on WiFi so it's not a connection issue) not to mention how often it crashes! It works maybe 1/10 of the time, clickable links are definitely NOT clickable, & it's only gotten worse after the update. Why would devs add a bunch of other "marketplaces" if the 1 the apps actually named after doesn't even function?? It's broke, *wouldn't recommend downloading.

The latest versions have been super laggy. The keyboard hangs up and you have to wait a few seconds for the typed words to appear. Also when viewing pics it takes a few seconds to load. I never had any problems with the older versions. This is with a galaxy s8.

Pops ads at all hours of the day and night when haven't opened the app. Haven't used the app in month but the last update randomly displays ful screen ads that take over phone. Do not use this! It was tricky to find out what app does it but if you go to the app switcher screen and hole down on the ad icon that says promotion, it brings up this app. Immediately Uninstalled and I had this for years.

Really like this app. My one complaint is try to delete photos that have already been added is next to impossible without deleting your entire post and stating over. There is an X in a red box at the top right of each photo uploaded but tapping on it almost never works. Very frustrating

Been posting to CL for years, use the desktop interface, this app is just horrible. Lags way behind and misses swiped words non-stop. Finally entered everything and hit continue and it ejected me back to the menu where I selected the category of what I was listing. All progress lost. I uninstalled this after it was such a bad experience vs the web interface. Banner ads take up 15-20% of screen while keyboard present (even when signed into your CL account). Avoid.

This used to be my go to for Craigslist. Over the past year it has changed significantly with bloat adware. It crashes consistently due to ads not loading correctly. Auto launches to playstore for ads. Covers the screen with ads. It has completely destroyed the ability to peruse Craigslist, post on Craigslist, etc.

This app when working is a very good app but it freezes a lot more than Offerup ,Letgo , and Facebook Marketplace. And it also would be a huge improvement if it operated more like those apps were you can save items and conversations with the sellers and message each other with in the app and not have to share personal contact information. But it does seem to have the largest variety of offerings which makes it a go to source for products.

I don't mind ads but current version has ads that play tunes or chime constantly and loudly when you are in the app. Very annoying and sometimes startling. It's especially bad when you're in a quiet space and your phone starts chiming loudly. An option to at least mute the ads would be welcome.

Pretty much just a bad interface, allowing adds that infiltrate your device files. I can use Firefox Focus browser. Fully protected (locked down, no Google, no permissions) with the standard Craigslist mobile enabled website. Full functionality, everything is fantastic. What purpose does the app serve? Answer, you are the product for sale.

Used to be good. Now it is ssssssssssooooo ssssssssslooooooow because of the constantly and frequently rotating ad banners. It takes too long to even type. They should let an ad sit for a while, instead they rotate a new ad every few seconds. It eventually crashes the app.

This app worked pretty well until the last update. Now it just locks up whenever it's launched. I'm on Android 9, so maybe it's just incompatible with the latest version of Android. Either way I'm going to have to find another CL app today that works with Android 9

Had some minor advantages over the mobile site until the most recent update. Closing the app logs you out of your account. Unless you wanna leave it running in the background constantly, you have to sign in again every time you open it up. Too much of an inconvenience to make it worthwhile.

Too many ads. this app used to be great, now it so full of ads its completely unusable. It even pops ads when the app isn't in use. These ads interrupt and show up over any other application you may be running, sometimes to the point of phone crashes.

I deleted it because I was sick and tired of it putting notices on my notification bar every other day and it has no way of turning them off. There is NEVER a reason for this app to show anything on my notification bar, never. It is intrusive and annoying. I will just use the web site rather than put up with that nonsense.

Craig's list is great but this app is very very slow whether I'm on wifi or not the pages open up very slow and swiping pics is very slow. If that can be fixed to make it a smoother experience I will downoad again but till then I'll just use the website that's faster other than that Craigslist is still Craigslist and can be very handy

Your app is terrible!!!!! I tried to post an ad and about 6 times it went to the main screen of craigslist and I lost the ad. I also tried to send a note to tech support and it did the same thing! Im not a happy camper and don't think you even desere 1 star. Melissa

It was going perfectly. But recently everytime I open it, it gives me an error. It says it can't be loaded and gives the error net::ERR_CONNECTION_RESET Can you release an update that fixes this? My internet connection is perfect so I know that isn't the source of the issue.

It's not easy to use. Hard to get expanding radius from central start point (eg. state of Maine) as areas vary in size & no maps to "see size & shape" of areas named. Hard to change the search factors/ limits/ and not lose a search or have to create a new search.
