Great overall app and haven't experienced major issue except for lag in starting 2 times but could use a clue of tweaks to make even better. 1) ability set default vehicle by individual phones not account. 2 cars on my account(mine and my wife's) , I want my car default on my phone and my wife's car default on her phone. 2)an available widget that could be placed on home screen would be nice addition so you don't need to open app.

Works great on my 3rd gen Tacoma, paired with the N2 Designs system. Got it mostly for the GPS location in case the truck gets stolen but the remote start and lock control from my phone are pretty neat features as well. Only thing I'd suggest, as been suggested, is a history of location. Doesn't need to be a full history, just a snapshot of the previous 24hrs or since last known position in the event it does get stolen seeing where it's been & the direction its going in to help authorities

It worked ok for our 2016 Prius for about one month. Now it doesn't communicate. It rarely shows anything in the app. Never shows if the car actually turned on or if the doors are locked. 95% of the time it shows a greyed out door lock icon and a greyed out voltage and communication icon. Shows nothing! Contacted customer support. Ticket #3166. They initially wanted me to reprogram it.... It's 5 degrees outside! I don't have a garage to rip my car apart for the third time because I've already done that before. With no improvement. So now they are having their engineers look into it. Basically I have a 200 dollar paper weight.

Works Perfectly! I use this app with the 12 Volt Solutions Remote Start system in my F-250, and it works great. I always have good connectivity, the GPS position is accurate, and the ability to make sure that my truck is locked gives peace of mind. I fly every week for work, and it's nice being able to start my truck as soon as the plane lands and have a warm truck when I get to it. Yeah, the sounds suck. But, that's not why I bought the app!

Works great and responds much quicker than the similar car manufacturers app. Taking one star away because Google Assistant features aren't really useful and I can't setup a routine, but I do understand it might be a security issue. I would LOVE to have a widget and would make this app 5 stars with a home screen widget. Another suggestion would be to add a car or something to the icon. I can never remember that it is called CL6 and have a hard time finding it when trying to start my car quickly.

This app has the potential to be so much more. I really like how I'm able to see the status of my vehicle regarding locked, unlocked, running, not running, and location. This could also have a log of work done on your vehicle, give you reminders of when to change fluids, when to rotate tires, etc... Also, it would be great if in the main screen it had a better photo for my tacoma instead of a stock photo and I don't know why the audi symbol is on top of the screen. How do I change that?

It has worked well for me, but often reports an incorrect unlock state. Luckily I can just lock it and it correctly indicates. I would very much like to see a widget so that I don't have to constantly open the app to unlock my car, plus smart integration: Imagine how great it would be if you could ask Google or Alexa to start your car in the morning. Just ideas.

This would be a great app if it notified me loudly when an alarm is triggered. All this app does is send you a text. At 2am when someones breaking into your car it should send me a loud alarm sound to my phone, not a stupid text. To me this makes this system below par. Other than that and after working out some installation issues it works great. Sending me a text is soooooo stupid. The only way you can change this is to create a custom sound. However that sound now becomes your text sound notification. Pretty dumb. This app should have it's own sound settings. Not just on or off. I probably would have looked more had I known you wont get anything more than a text at 2am, worthless!!

Works great.. I was nervous after reading the reviews.. But it's been flawless.. I think people are rating the app saying it has issues but it's either their phone or their installer didn't know what they were doing when they placed the ascl6 in a wrong location where it doesn't get good signal they placed it below the metal in the dash. if it's installed correctly and you don't have a budget phone it works perfect.. I installed a Car Link with an Evo One in my wife's CR-V a few weeks ago. So far it works perfectly. Where she works she would never be able to start her car with a regular remote. The only suggestion I have is to put the auxiliary functions and the GPS button on the main screen instead of swiping up. There is a lot of usable space there. Also, a GPS logging function in case the car is stolen would be nice.

when i got this last winter 2018 it worked great for 6 months, now for the last 4+ months it has not worked. seems like many of the effected users are Android based, regardless, paying for a subscription service and providing the type of experience this app gives is a sure fire way to avoid renewals. please update your users with any information that you can, whether it be an app issue, or a service issue, etc. its significantly better than silence.

It doesn't even work. All it shows is my vehicle temp and battery voltage. Press any button on the app and nothing happens. Had high hopes, so hopefully the bugs can be fixed.

App only works once in a blue moon. I have a 2019 Toyota Camry hybrid and we purchased a remote start that works with this app. At first when it wasn't working we thought it was the device so the company sent us a replacement, but after talking to them and verify everything was connected correctly it turns out to be the app.

The system took a few hours to connect. I spent a couple hours troubleshooting and let the system sit overnight and it finally worked. I would easily understand and been patient, but there was nothing in the directions that mentioned the system needed hours to sync.

Installation and login worked great. However there should be independent logins available for multiple cars on the same account. If I primarily drive one car and my spouse drives the other car then we should both be able to "favorite" car own car so that it comes up as the primary car in the app on each of our phones.

Great app. Does exactly what I need it to when I need it to. I love watching my truck when it's at the dealership or unlocking/locking the doors so that the Amazon driver can deliver packages with out fear of porch pirates. It even got me a nice discount on my car insurance. All in all a great app that I'm completely satisfied with.

App works okay if you drive the vehicle every day. If you use this on a vehicle you only drive a couple times a MI tree h it looses connectivity and becomes useless until you drive the vehicle a time or two. ALSO I agree with other reviewers that the sounds are terrible. TERRIBLE! Can you change the sounds the app makes please?!

Just downloaded and set up the app. It was really easy. The response from unlocking the door to hearing it unlock my truck was pretty fast I feel. So far everything seems to work very well. I like the little battery monitor that tells you your battery voltage at your vehicle to

Props to the developer for giving an option to turn off the notification sound, but it still should be tied to notifications and not tied to media. Fix this and I'll raise the rating. Overall a pretty good, if not basic, app.

Installed 2 remote starts.. 1 in a prius and another in a highlander.. both remote starts work.. except from the app. The app shows me if I remote started the vehicles from keyfob by showing a 15 minute timer.. shows green indicator for service.. shows current battery... shows if car doors are locked/unlocked.. but in both cases.... cant start/stop or lock/unlock the vehicles from the app. Waiting to hear back from the remote start company I bought it from.

It sucks. Dose not work when I need it to. It 25 degrees out and I can't start my car but it will start when it is 70 degrees out side. I got it so I can get in to worm car when it is cold outside not when it's hot outside. DO NOT GET wast of $600.this is a 9 to 5 remote start once it stops working after a certain time at night it won't work untill the next morning. I work 3rd shift and most of the time I can't get my car started because the app is not working. And stop leaving fake comments.

I loved this app when I first got it over a year ago. But since the last update, the service is absolutely terrible. The app rarely connects to my car. No functions work at all and the gps locator just always shows my car in my driveway when it's not even at home. Was a great app but now I hate it

In the beginning the app worked fine. Now everytime I try to autostart the car it sets the alarm off. I have to unlock the car first then push the autostart. It's also knocking the time off my clock and throwing an AWD code. Where is the app for the watch?

Have had this app a couple of years now and recently several times now it won't connect everything is greyed out last week 10/16 my car spent the whole morning starting and stopping itself. This is not tolerable. As a side note when it does work it is great.

Works most of the time. Sometimes the app gets quirky and doesn't respond to the car properly. There definitely should be an Android Watch app so that people with Samsung Watches can turn the car on from their watch. It would be really helpful.

HAPPY CUSTOMER! I purchased this ascl6 for my Toyota Tacoma, and had it installed with a prestige remote start alarm system. At first I gave this app a 3 star rating because I was having some issues with some features that were not working, then I realized that I should reach out to the customer service, and I'm glad I did. I was helped by (eric tech) he answered every question I had with quick response and professionalism! Definitely 5 star service 🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟

Update: I love this app/product now! Everything works now like it's suppose to (advertised) 👍👍 I don't know how to delete and or edit my old rating. Please disregard my previous rating. Update fixed the notification problem. I've referred 4 of my friends and family to CL6 CarLink!

I updated my App. My remote starter no longer works and I cannot close or open the doors in my vehicle. The app turns red whenever I press one of the buttons. I will update review once it starts working again.

They did an update and now every time I use the app it crashes or fails to comunicate with vehicle. Love the concept. But if problems precist may have to switch to another provider.

Just had this installed with my Flashlogic Remote Starter on a 2012 Mercedes E350 W212. Was actually simple to do, just plug and play. Instructions from a YouTube video. Works great didn't have any issues. Download the app from play store, but can be used for Apple Phone too. Gave a 3 Star only because of the option it has to offer. And especially the buttons! Wish it was one simple button to Start/Stop. Meant to unlocked and hit by mistake Start button. Hopefully they will update!
