Taking online classes in platforms like Coursera is good, but taking personalised online classes is even better, because you have a continuous feedback from your teacher. Classgap is a great way for us teachers to reach students from around the globe and earn money doing what we love... at home! The platform works well and the tools (like the whiteboard) are very useful, almost like in a real classroom.
ClassGap is not good for teachers. The website doesn't let teachers change their for multiple weeks in advance, yet the students can book classes weeks or even months in advance. Also, when a student doesn't turn up for a class, or cancels it at the last moment, the teacher still doesn't get paid, which ok if it is a one of it's ok but if it happens constantly it's not ok The teachers always get threatened with the positioning going down if they don't answer emails immediately, if you don't accept classes quickly,... yet, the students can do whatever they want and they are always right.
I try to find anybody to be able to help me but it's really imposible, I did my profile but the app doesn't work and I can't edit or delete my information. I believe it's very bad because I had a complicated experience and they have my personal information. I trusted that it was a good option but I don't recommend it.
The ClassGap app and its corresponding website are great resources for both students and teachers. The functionality of each is rather consistent and intuitive. The response time for system problems is usually 1-3 days, and the care taken by the staff is top notch. Give ClassGap a try and see for yourself.
My experience with classgap has been awful. Carmen is the only good thing about it but the customer service is as slow as a wet week. It is the most frustrating platform due to how difficult it is to obtain information without contacting customer service. Why do you have to have the app to enter your payment details? Why is it not more clearly stated when you are signing up? It's also the most expensive platform I've used to teach, 20% commission and 100% of your first class with a new student.
I registered on Classgap as a Maths teacher. After my first class with a student, I was not paid for that class. When I asked about the payment, they said we will do your profile promotion with your first class's payment so that you can get more students. I agreed. Not so surprisingly, I did not get requests from any more students after that. Im not sure what kind off promotion are they doing. Disappointed!
An excellent app, well integrated, easy to use classroom and messaging system. The calendar could be more manageable if I looked a few more weeks ahead.
I registered yesterday night and lost ALL THE DAY to get how it works: you can't change your classes: at the moment I could teach only Geography instead of almost 3 subjects. Because I can't change my preference from the website and app both. Most ridicolous: the grammar is a mess bcz they use Google translate from Spanish to the others language. A fraud. Scam and deleted.
I've had a pleasant experience working with Classgap. Their platform is extremely easy to use, making life a lot easier. Also, their customer service is highly appreciated.
Good platform, with some programming flaws, but well integrated. The only thing I don't like is that you need at least 50 euros earned in order to get your money out. Other than that thank you.
the application needs an improvement in terms of software and programming, but i can say that i found good tutors through this application and the support service is special, thank you
I'm teaching my first regular student. So had basic features, and they seem to work well.
I'm a programming tutor on classgap and I think it's a great place for me and my students to practice coding. Keep up the good work!
I purchased a lesson. The tutor cant make it. The problem is can only get my money through credits and i cant even do that because the lesson can't be cancelled due to the faulty platform.
Scam platform that posts your information on search engines but can't get you any traffic. They claim to charge 20% commission, but collected 50% from me on my first lesson. Nowhere on the site does it say there's a 50% commission. There are better, reliable, HONEST platforms out there
Good platform for students as well as teachers. Join it and get to know about your actual potential
It is very good app.In form of classroom also and communication to student also it is very good app.
Great app to look for native teachers to learn with
An excellent online teaching platform that provides great flexibility.
Very nice platform. Only just had one lesson but so far I'm impressed
A very popular platform for online teaching.
Great but payment doesn't reflect Instantly in your account.
Great for teaching english and learning to speak english!
Don't ever think of installing this app... I tried to book class but it always canceled by their tutors
One of the best platform for Tutors as well as Students
Fine place to find a teacher
Really a game changer in education
The support team is great.
This is a scam!!! I booked 2 lessons, but that tutor never accepted my request and my money vanished! Then, I booked another 2 lessons with another tutor. Somehow, they charged me for 3 lessons instead of 2 despite my schedule sayimg that I only have 2 lessons!! Then, I discovered that the teacher is incompetent and doesn't know the topic so I had to end the session after just 15 minutes. He told me that I can cancel the 2nd session to get a full refund. I canceled, but didn't get any refund!
