update 2018-12-16 (update from Nov-17): i see that you have fixed the lag upon startup which is really nice. however the changes in the controls are weird. i know you were aiming at solving the problem with the touchscreen menu buttons (idk what to call it), but you could have just added an extra row for the control editing, and it was unnecessary to move the ad banner to the bottom part of the screen, i often misclick it when i play now. adding more control customization might help. use the old layout and add the third row of spaces to place the controls on, but just make sure that you only make the play field smaller when this third row is enabled. for feature suggestions, would it be possible to recreate the NES Tetris mechanics as another game mode? that would be cool. it would also be nice to add more options for appearance customization, like block styles and maybe a darker background. still a good game ^-^ original: not a bad clone. better controls than EA's Tetris for mobile*, and ads aren't frustrating like those forced 30 seconds ads that shows every now and then in most games. could make a few improvements and bug fixes, but it still is enjoyable like in the original ^-^ *i haven't played EA's Tetris in a while, idk if there were updates on the gameplay

Hello dear developer. I really love this game, and your app is really cool. But the new update made the game screen smaller, and the buttons moved up. I don't see the point of it. In my opinion it just makes the game harder to play, not in a challenging way, but in an annoying way. I hope the screen will change and become bigger again in future updates. Thank you

It's good like any other tetris game I've played but it has some flaws like 1. You can only spin clockwise, you cannot spin counterclockwise 2. You cannot spin the block(s) unless it has enough space on top of the game (lots tetris game can spin the block(s) so the remaining block(s) will be on top outside the bounds 3. A lot of tetris lose condition is if your next block hit the to of middle of the screen (so you can stacks blocks in the leftmost and rightmost column, even if it hit the top)

Sometimes the app can make my phone get really hot after only 10 or so minutes of playing. Also, what's the specific remix that plays in the background? Edit: It seems to be every time I play for more than 10 minutes or so now. I think the app is making my phone's CPU run full speed all the time. I have a Snapdragon 845 SOC and running that full tilt would generate a ton of heat. It's also killing my battery life.

Was the best simplest version and gave it five stars. Update: latest update...game now occupies a much smaller part of the screen to make way for ad placement. Ads also appear at the top of the screen where the blocks appear so you cant see them and the control buttons are positioned so you lose them easily making game tricky to use. have uninstalled - dont need the aggravation.

this game might at first seem like a serviceable Tetris clone, but the issue is that the devs didn't understand the way Tetris's randomization works. in real Tetris, the game picks pieces semi-randomly, making sure that the same piece does not show up over and over again or that no 1 piece doesn't show up in ages. This game has true randomness, which means that you can lose through no fault of your own based on entirely random pieces.

The placing of the settings is neat and the gameplay is enjoyable. Only problem is you can only rotate in one direction and not the other causing some tactics to not be able to be implemented. PS: The music is lit. (^^♪

I actually love this game, but with the new updates ot has been getting worse. I could use spotify wile playing the game but now I cant really. I do miss the bigger screen. I would like zero crashes, spotify compatibility and the bigger screen to be fixed. Thank you, I'd really appreciate those three things.

Love it!! I must say reading the developer's actual responses to reviews won me over. I had to support someone who is willing to learn and simply "get it right". Love the game and it's the closest to the old Tetris that I have found. Not a bunch unnecessary gimmicks. Just a good, clean, fun game. Best wishes to you and your bright future!!! I've been waiting for years for this to come out, thanks 5 stars. The dev even emulates the acceleration if you hold the down or the side buttons. Also the delay is present in order to slide the elements in awkward positions. Top notch.

This is probably the best game version of tetris on the Google play store. My only issue with it is that I would like an option to switch between the music currently in the game, and the classic tetris soundtrack, but that's not very important so I'm giving it 5 stars anyway

Perfect little tetris game. Controls are easy to learn. Very Customizable. Not littered with ads like most games these days. Just a banner ad at the bottom wile you play and a single skippable ad after you die. Amazing.

This is the one I was looking for. Button controls, the most important song (though far too short, but the all the other good things make up for it). And as a bonus the SLAM! fast-down button is an absolute joy :D

I just wanna play tetris. I don't want flash, I don't want hassle. And for the bargain price of 89p, you get it without ads. Because after the 20th ad you just want to shoot yourself. Love the look of it. Reminds me of the old handheld my mum had to pay hers way back when.

The same blocks keep appearing continuously thus screwing you over and forcing you to watch an ad. Regardless of what the developer says about the blocks being random, once you play about 5 rounds of tetris, you realise that its not random at all and blocks appearing twice in a row is very common; thrice in a row common; 4 times in a row uncommon (when it shouldnt even be seen unless you just struck lottery irl).

Great version of Classic Tetris , I really enjoyed it and have played a lot of hours. The controls are as good as they can be on a touchscreen. I would like to see a reverse rotation button too!

the concept is good, but it has a huge problem with the "random" blocks, specially with the largest one, is it really random? because after playing 6 games it seems that the largest has the lowest probabilities of appear.

easy to control.. but, can you please add a setting to switch the color, from classic to modern, orwhatever it is? and, i hope the scoring system is not simply as 1 line +100 score, i hope it's more like easier to increase than that.. thank you..

A very solid and great version of Tetris to play. Maybe the best on the app store. Only downside is that you can't hold blocks, but I am hoping this will be a feature implemented into the game. Thank you for the very fun and simple form of Tetris on mobile.

The color option doesn't work, don't know if it's just my phone or if they're planning to update it in the future, but I still rate this 5 stars because when compared to other tetris-like apps on the play store, it ranks highest. Good game :)

That might be the best version of Tetris on mobile.. and that's only because the EA version has microtransactions and does't have legacy controls. This version lacks crucial features like holding blocks and a ghost of the blocks and the music is annoying.

its pretty good. gameplay is nice, and overall its pretty good. there is a problem with the blocks repeating (i got the same blocks 4 times, and its a common thithinand it plays an ad every time you loose, but other than those problems, its a pretty good game.

I love tetris, and this application is just what i need. Simple and addictive. It's too bad that i should end the game when i'm about too quit. I wish i can save the game and continue it afterward, but i guess that's not a real classic tetris.

It's a nice time waster, though the graphics could be better. The controls started sticking when you get to the faster speeds but not too much.

Very nice. I play it often. Just like the old tetris. When score is very high (14000 or 16000) then it says an error occured. But not really because the score does show up. Other than that it is very good

Thanks the update solved all the bugs 🤩🤩🤩, but it would be amazing if there is an option to remove the arrow keys below so I could play through the whole screen instead of just the small box.

Everything is amazing controls well and you can change controls music sounds awesome game works as advertised removing ads which aren't intrusive is cheap game background looks amazing I love this game. It just works and looks nice so simple

We still need the hold button. Overall greatgame tho it has its lagginess and the constant repetition of pieces (four of the same type) being constant in games happening more than once. Please fix
