I'm a beginner and found the app useful and fun. The spaces available to each piece are highlighted which is helping me learn the moves that can be made. Different levels enable progression and there is the option to play online or against computer so I don't embarrass myself! Nice calming music in the background makes for a relaxing game.
Great fun, nice graphic, smooth. Choose level and play another person or the AI definitely, if you are a newbie, and want to build up your skill. In game help for where pieces can move to, and what one will be taken, simply by touching them. There's handicaps like game play with your best pieces gone No time limit so you can think more than one move ahead. Try anticipating yours and CPUs next move, memorise best positions etc.
In this app upto 8th level (only 10 level) even a beginner can crush the AI... 9th and 10th level looks intermediate still beginners can win those also... Improvements needed: 1) 2D board CPU pieces are inverted 2) There's no pause in the game (if you wish to continue after some time the game will start from initial stage) 3) Need more board styles and pieces style in 2D 4) 3D board also need to be big size otherwise the graphics looks odd(concentration missing)
Educational. I'm learning as I go. I thought learning chess would be hard. (The time is still young, and I still have a lot to learn.) But I've always loved learning about chess. One day, I hope to master it. As for the technical aspect of it, there are no glitches or problems that I can tell, the game plays well, and the graphics are pleasing, too.
I like this crazy chess game in spite of it throwing away it's pieces too much until they shoot it up to an excessive level 8. Too easy at first then too hard, typical. Gradual change is better, like in reality.
AI is laughible up to lvl 6 difficulty. Put pawn attacking queen, AI doesnt even care, they just play a non threatening move as opposed to moving queen to safety. Music could be better too. A bit of chopin would be nice, or of the sort.
Most beautiful game for mobile. One thing though. I see a blue square with and without the red aura. At first I thought it means "capture possible with risk". But then I saw the red aura even without any risk present for my character. And even it not being there when there actually was a risk. I don't know. I'm confused!
me being a beginner cant rate myself but seems to be interesting and as it shows you all the possible moves that can be performed by the opponent as well as you if becomes more easier to play and understand.
It's the best chess gane on the Play Store! This is one of the chess games that allows you to experience the game with other players, along with CPUs which can really teach you different games. 5 star reccomendation!
Not bad. Just the difficulty jump from 7 to 8 is so big it feels almost unbeatable. And 9, 9 being the final level, is ... to crazy.
It's fun to play. you can set it on any level. and the display is pretty good. And you can play with a cpu or online and more options. It's one of the best chess game I play😁
AI remains an idiot up to Lv10. Plays -some- good moves, but only when your own moves were bad to beginwith. Lv9 AI get destroyed so badly. Won with almost no pieces lost.
seem like a really smooth and visually appealing chess game, the ai seemed a little nice to me though as I don't play a lot but this this one I played to level 8 till I was beat. love the game of chess.
All levels were very simple until I got to level 18 then it's back and forth could be more challenging at lower levels
It's ok but you need to fix the setting of the pieces on two player mode. I bet it everytime it's too easy.
enjoyable. can be easy. can be hard. Improved my technique just playing around. you win some, you lose some. I'm about a level 4/5 now.. and improving
Good for beginners as it suggests where to play or not play. Difficult to change level of game.
Good fun. Only played to level 4 and it's a bit too easy so far. Hoping it gets more challenging.
I Just downloaded enjoying this game but not, sure , if I'm playing properly the moves will let you know. It doesn't allow you to do certain moves. So yes I'm good with that.
its good application. i am a beginner so learning and enjoying. upper levels are challenging too
it was nice, just staring, they give you music that gives you this mellow yet up to beat feeling. its nice. and over all its chess so what can be so difficult to execute this ?
I really like the Music. very relaxing. I'm not so much into the way the Chess Pieces are Defined or its Graphics. Thee Chess Pieces should look more Realistic
It's good but one that I would like to ask that I was playing the game with my friend online and timing of a single move is only 30 seconds. Can I increase it around 2 minutes?
I'm a reasonable chess player, went from level one to level ten in under an hour, its really only for beginners
a really interactive game for those that are just learning or try to sharpen the skills they have.
Great for beginners. I'm learning how the pieces move and work together for checkmate.
So far I'm enjoying this app. Unless your a complete beginner set the level quite high as the lower levels just throw the pieces around willy nilly. You'd have to be wearing a blindfold to loose. Higher levels play better. The black peices are displayed on the board in a odd upside way which I've never seen before. You soon get used to that through. I'm sure there must be a way to turn off the annoying music but I can't find it. Overall through its a decent enough game and if you haven't played.
