MasterMind is a classic puzzle game from the Seventies. The goal is to guess the hidden color combinations. Your opponent (the computer/phone) creates a combination of up to four colors and hides it at the top of the game board. Your task is to try out different color combinations until you match the hidden code.
The challenge is to pick the correct color code as quickly as possible — in other words, to see how fast you can guess the hidden color combination. If you find a bug in the game, please let us know by writing to us at [email protected].

Fantastic, easy-to-use, elegant implementation of Mastermind. I only wish it had options for more pegs-per-row. However, an excellent app, especially for a great teaching-and-learning game for kids.
It's a game of cunning and logic. It keeps you busy for a while. It makes you forget domestic problems and concentrate more on wasting. It develops logical thinking to reach most appropriate solution. Mastermind is a great game.
The game is addictive and identical to the physical game we all grew up with. The only issue is that it cannot save high scores on Android phones. But I'm sure that's to be remedied soon. Highly recommended!
Excellent game. Good graphical representation and true to the original game with options to alter the games difficulty and gameplay style.
Why does it change the layout of the colors in the middle of a game? If I choose 2 colors in the right spot, it gives me two black dots. But further up in the game, the same two colors in the same spot it gives me two white dots telling me they're in the wrong spot.
Kind of messes up on my S10, but it's a fun game. Good rendition of the original, and I just found out you can set it to have double same colors.
Who would have thought that my little plastic no-tech 1970's board game would someday be played on a hand held high-tech computer that doubles as a telephone? Oh yeah, the game is available for free. 5 stars.
A little like Euclidean geometry proofs. And there is a parallel with the logic used in WORDLE. I had the battery operated peg version of Mastermind 40 years ago!
Super fun decoder. We have a set with pegs, but this is more of a challenge.
Keeps telling me that it might not be really android-friendly, but it works great on my android! Great, classic game.
Love it! Played Mastermind back in the day, but being single it was not something i could play alone...and no wondering if the marker got it wrong! Lol
Just downloaded today. Love it! Great game! Just like the classic game. ... side note for developers, there is some sort of error message that pops up saying a new update is needed for my phone (galaxy note 21 ultra)

Says it's built for older versions of android?
App is very slow and freezes my phone (it is NOT a memory issue since my phone has over 10 gb of storage left). Also, there is NO option to switch off the timer (it is a huge visual distraction for me when I am trying to concentrate on solving the code / puzzle).
