Classic Notes Lite - Notepad

This is the (almost) perfect notes app on the store in my opinion. It has many features aside ways to format the text, and is pretty formidable but I think this app needs a quality of life update now. The UI menus are old and can be pretty annoying to scroll through, but they only need simple fixes. I still recommend though, I've been using this for years now.

I love your app and have hundreds of notes on it. So Search is really useful but very clunky to find. I note at least one user complained there was no "Search" function. Can you put it at the top of the first level menu, please? To get to it you have to press "Notes" - and it's not obvious this will open a menu - then scroll to the bottom of that menu to "Menu Options". Open that and there's Search. Moving it from there to the top of the "Notes" menu should be an easy fix and really useful. Tx

I love it! The most important for me is that you can create a lot of shopping list not just one like others apps. And you can put a price on each item not like others apps. So it is very useful for me because a like to have differet counts for each market and activity. You can also organize your notes and other stuff by folders and that is very useful. Thank you so much!

Great general purpose note keeper. I use it a lot! I would like to see a non ad version, and an easier way to clean up or arraign notes. Perhaps a drop down list option of notebooks to select from. Also when editing individual notes the font of that menu defaults too large putting most options off screen and making it more difficult to use. That said it is still my go to note taker!

I'm really bummed out, this app is fantastic! I have to leave it two stars as when I transfers to my new phone, none of the data synced. With about 50 humongous lists and notes, this is a huge problem. Any way we can get some help on this please? Looks like many of us have the same problem.

Very Bad 😓😥😰 Your App is great and best and wonderful. But don't have UNDO (only one time>undo last). Need more times UNDO like as computer ms-word. But don't have REDO.Need more times REDO like as computer ms-word. Try to keep SEARCH option in visible on main page. (not in > notes > more options > search) If you do this options means most of the people will use your app. Thank you

I like it overall but when I try to make a note private it will not stay safe. I enter a password for it but when I get out and come back in the note is still open and accessable. Not very helpful.

Great note taker with lots of sort capability. It would be nice, however, if you could add a switch to suppress sorting on the active list. If you have a shopping list and sort for pending items, it will delete them from the list if you tap it, better would be keep displaying item with it checked.

I loved this app up until the day I went to upgrade my phone. No matter what format or export method I use I can't transfer my notes! The file moves over but is then unreadable and I get an error stating there is nothing in the file...Sad to see this go but I don't seem to have much choice 😕

Lots of extras, especially in the paid version. Able to transfer all notes to a new phone with Dropbox and email. Excellent support and responsiveness by the developer. One of the most used apps on my phone.

Can the note or task list be shared live for others to edit? I love the shipping list just like the other user mentore mentioned, atuo calculated for you. Wish Google note would have this option. This feature is the most useful. There are of course little things that can improved. By the way, how can i export / share my shopping list to someone else?

Loved it until it was time to upgrade to new phone. App transferred to new phone, but data did not. All notes lost! I see this is a common issue. Since all data lost, easy to find new notes app.

Like so many others. I too bought a new phone and can't open app. Immediately shuts down. Fortunately I still have my old phone to manually rewrite everything on a different note app. Was a good app I hope they can fix it.

This app works great until you have to change phones. When I did a restore on my new phone, the app was there but all of the data was gone. I kept a lot of info on this app.

I enjoy this app very much. It helps me organize things like shopping lists, errands that need to be done, notes for myself and so on. There are so many uses for this app and it comes in handy when pencil and paper are not available.

I really love this app however I have more than 200 notes that I want to export to my pc. It would be really helpfull to add an option where we could exports all the notes together and not 1 by 1 via mail.

Same here, I need the note info I have in this app and after transferring to a new phone when I try to open I see my note list for a split second and then the app closes. Please fix!

Was using the app but when I changed phone was unable to move my info over. Sent email to developers. Crickets. Surely this is just a standard question and they cut and past a set answer? But seems no.

Very good as it has loads of different categories and is very easy to use. The only reason that I haven't given it 5 stars, is that on the Shopping List, the prices are in Dollars and I have to convert them to Pounds. Is there a setting anywhere that I can change please?

It was a good app at first but now after me getting a new phone it just started to glitch out..and now I can't look at any of my info that I have saved on it..it acts like it closes out as soon as I open it..please fix it, I have been using this app for years and never had a problem till now..

I've had this app since I started using my very first touch smart android phone which is the Samsung S2. Several phone units after, I still reinstall and import all my files into the new phone with this reliable old buddy 👍😊😁☺️👍

Same problem as others.. I feel I'm going to lose all my notes because it instantly crashes now that I've transferred apps to my new phone with a backup. Please fix this!

Great app!! Very easy to use and many options are there! But i think it would've been better if I could choose colors for my notes!

Great list, easy to use and view. Simple to use and not intrusive. Doesn't need contact list.

Been using this for my past 4 or 5 phones. Nothing beats the functionality of this app. Able to export to a new phone is great.

good but last update has made the menu disappear (invisible). i have to guess the position to launch backup and send.

when in note mode the extras menu is black. I sure would like to be able to use those features. Do I pay for an upgraded version?

Has been helpful all these years, it's simply more than a hard drive backup. Thanks to the developer.
