Very difficult app to navigate. And difficult to find what you're looking for. I've noticed that others have made similar observations in the reviews and Class Pass has only responded with a request for that person to contact them so that they can help them navigate the difficult to navigate interface rather than just make the app intuitive 🤣
Buggy UI.. On the main page of a studio where you can see a list of classes available/unavailable... The greyed out ones (unavailable) are sometimes actually available.. When u click into it.. It is available for booking Vice versa applies.. Some classes show available and how many credits to book.. But when you click into it.. U can't book And don't tell me to refresh.. I closed and reopened the app.. Its the same..
A great idea - absolutely dreadful implementation. Want to use credits simply to have some gym time? Good luck finding anywhere that's less than 8 credits just to lift some weights. In central London, it's even more costly; and if you live anywhere outside of zone 1, you're looking at a mile+ travel to find the nearest available options. A complete waste of time/money - either get a normal gym membership with multi access, or join one of the many other dedicated fitness plans out there.
The first 2 lessons were good. Not until today where the place where I booked the class is not even open when I arrived. No contact number, no bell to ring, no one to talk to. When I tried the in app chat it says no one is online. I have Sent in the request and waiting for answer, not sure what the app platform is going to do to salvage the situation. Wasted my day
I love ClassPass! It allows me to check out several different studios in my area without having to make any commitments and is super easy to use. I also like that it gives me the flexibility with the number of credits I would like and how I can change it to fit my needs at any time without incurring a fee. I've recommended it to friends who have also fallen in love with it and would recommend it to anyone who wants to try out some new places in their area.
It was a really good and convenient app. But the issue is they just automatically charge you RM209.00 after a month with auto renewal system without you knowing / any notifications.
All free trial members take note, Classpass DOES NOT deduct your credits for any late cancellations, but the late cancellation penalty is DIRECTLY CHARGED TO YOUR CARD. The late payment penalty being charged to your card, is not even stated when u make the cancellation. You're only told that there will be a late penalty. Edit: Customer support got back to my very quickly to help me solve the issue, but take note on this issue!
Trial was fine. But decided to pay for membership. But have to wait 72 hours for activation of account. Now, I can't even book a single class till activation is completed. App is glitchy as well. Very bad UX. Asked if I will be notified upon activation, but customer service said no and I've to keep relaunching to check on the status.
Dear class pass, you are Cancelled. You guys have a very strict cancellation policy and increases my cancellation fee to $20 on one event that occured because of your app glitching out. You have a terrible customer contact option and service. Seriously onlt time you act and contact is when you wanna charge me for cancellation fees to take more of my money. I have had cancel pages coming up blank and a venue accusing me of leaving 1star when I did not, and Json error when trying to book a studio
Been using this for over 2 years and I really enjoy the availability to pick between various studios. Was close to give 5⭐ BUT very disappointed that had to reactive my account today, because of third party transaction problems and all my previous month credits that suppose to rollover were deleted...
Seems my previous review was removed... Search is awful, basically impossible to find available options. Don't bother with a free trial, only like 1 in 10 places lets you use the trial credits. If you cancel your membership, it's effective immediately and they cancel any classes you had booked, even if you have 15 days left on the month. Pro tip, they offer like 20 different discounts when you try to cancel, so might as well take advantage of that if you actually like the service.
Terrible everything. Very few venues and and even fewer time slots available. Cancellation policy on the verge to be a scam. Practically impossible to book for the same day. When you cancel, you can't use your remaining credits. The credit system doesn't make sense (from 3 credits up to 15 for the exact same activity, at a similar place and at roughly the same time on a different day).
App constantly glitching. Not sure what happened but the app is so bad now. I have had it for several years (over 4 years) and now the app is almost unusable. Always says no classes found even if there are no filters applied, but then shows me a list of options. Or with no filters selected it would show you specific type of activity. It s frustrating. Seems like mindbody acquisition made it worse than better? Please fix the glitches
Great business model for investors as unless you use your credits each month you effectively pay Classpass your monthly amount and receive literally nothing in exchange. If you cancel you membership, all credits and bookings are lost rather than having until the end of the monthly period to use them. Capitalism at its finest! Could be such a great app and company if it wasn't so money focused.
The functionality of my app has degraded over the past few months and now it won't even load the homepage. I reached out by email for help and was directed to use the website instead.
Great app that could go a long way if the team behind it were a lot more honest. 1) They make it hard for people to cancel memberships 2) T&C's Not readily accessible 3) They don't explain that you can't use one-time credits for repeat bookings....forcing you to pay for monthly classes 4) Very poor support team - no live chat or call number. Email customer support doesn't answer any Qs nor replies promptly Overall, it's a great model but a real shame that the team are in it for a cash grab.
Good product. When it comes to the app however it Crashes at times and shows different credits when u open diff classes. But overall convenient to use.
I am only in this program because my company offered this at a discounted rate, otherwise I will never pay for this program. It's significantly lacking in gym options and classes in my area. The search option is poorly designed. The credits/cost is always changing to milk you. It is not consistent and it changes to see if you are desperate enough to pay more credits for the same class you've been going to for weeks! I will change my rating once ClassPass fixes their greedy habits.
Actually terrible. I knew the app was bad when I downloaded it but I figured since my employer paid for my membership it could only be positive. I was wrong. Support is terrible (they do not understand their own product and actively contradict themselves in communication), there are barely any places available in the app (I never actually used a credit), and you max out the credits after one month but they still charge you! I ended up paying $100 for absolutely nothing through tax drag! Avoid!
Every page on my app is struggling to load. I have to keep closing out of my app to restart it but nothing is working. I can't book anything because of the bugs.
Do not download or subscribe. Its a fraud. The company forfeit my unused credits and dont allow refunds. Due to covid-19 or even work nature, you may not able to attend classes frequently however you will be continuously billed. The unused credits will be forfeited. Basically its like when you topup your amazon/lazada app but didnt purchase anything the app will forfeit your money. Or if you dont increase your saving account, the bank takeaway your money. Ridiculous. Regreting.
I wish the instructors were always listed. Otherwise this app is great. Easy to use and I like the "add to calendar" feature.
Terrible app and functionality. So bad that I canceled my trial subscription. No decent studios nearby. Two times my confirmed classes didn't go through, after driving all the way to the studios. When customers cancel classes late, there is a fine. But what if studios cancel classes 5 minutes before they start? Sure, you can contact customer service. But I don't have time for that. Instead of making my life easier, Classpass - as a platform - does the exact opposite.
