Terrible site - terrible service - terrible on the phone. All around...I wouldn't give my business to this company. If you call them to find a room, it takes 5 hours on average.
Seldom do you actually make it through getting a reservation, without a day or two or three pause for an answer.
Multiple charges for bookings I did not make. Im at home in Kentucky now and just got a charge through my bank for a reservation in another state saying I booked a room 10 minutes ago.
Trying to reserve a hotel room frequently fails when calling works. Sometimes hotels won't accept the card without prior approval from the company. When reservations do go through, it frequently takes nearly a full day. Is a discount (usually 10%) worth the terrible user experience, perhaps. FWIW, the people at the call center are friendly and generally helpful. It's just a terrible system for all parties involved.
Suddenly my favorite hotels are missing from search results. All that are showing up now are Super 8 and Wyndham garbage. All my holiday inns and comfort inns are gone! Please fix!!
Terrible app. The hotel lists are rarely accurate. I've been to three separate hotels that were on the list that no longer accepted CLC. Then there are a lot of hotels that will take CLC that aren't listed on the app. On top of those issues some of the listings appear one day and dissapeare the next. It's a very painful app to depend on.
The app frequently does not show all hotels available in an area in my version I have had other people check for hotels in the same area as I am and it shows a lot more hotels else and when I have problem with the hotel and call CLC they have booked me in hotels that do not show up on my app
Clicking on 10:15/20 and 30 mile buttons no results found anywhere I go from Greenville South Carolina to Asheville North Carolina no results found this is asinine fix your broken app
Fix the mileage. Hotel said 7 miles away, booked it, now I'm looking at Google maps that says 19 miles. Thanks.
IT DOESN'T WORK!!! It gives an error message when you try to use it. It's a complete waste of space on my phone. It would be better if they completely removed from the play store until they get it working. This half a$$ attempt only causes me to reconsider my CLC usage.
From 5 stars to 1 star. This app used to work fine, as of a week ago, when I booked the hotel online that I'm staying in now. I am now trying to book next week's hotel with the app and it will not give me any hotel results when I search an area--any area. I'm assuming the developers broke the app when they updated it. Very sad and inconvenient. If it doesn't get fixed soon, I will write a formal complaint to the app store for providing a platform to broken apps and request this app be removed.
Hotels that show up in results(10mi) fall off list at 30miles. Some hotels (on your clc plan) will Never show up in results. Hotels are always much farther than the distance searched for. Should have a "CLC ratings" system, because CLC rooms ARE NOT the same rooms listed on trip-advisor. (Usually rooms that are broken or have huge issues). Would be nice if the results listed each properties deposit requirements. "Black out" dates should exclude hotels involved with the blackout, from results
Should be able to apply your personal information to speed up checking in. Also why can't I get copies of my receipts emailed. With everyone trying to go paperless, one would believe access to emailed receipts would be top of the list as far as options. Everyone knows that every company requires a copy of hotel records. Is you company against going green?
this app is so Antiquated there's no way to list all the issues with it, it offers the world so she's reservations and information but you can't schedule anything from the app you physically have to call and talk to somebody. And good luck getting someone that comprehends the language of your domicile in the United States. Because it's outsourced that no one can understand you nor can you understand them.
Can never log in always says the service reported an error
Awful prices... AWFUL. At least it lead me to find another app which happens to be very useful. CLC discount was FULL PRICE. There were many issues with the hotel but thats not CLC's fault.
I'm told they updated the app. Since then I can never book rooms with the app. I always get an error message.. I have to call to take care of a reservation. They always have long wait time.
This app lets you call the motel you are interested in. This app has a map showing where the motel is located. This app has a map showing all CLC motels in your area. You can book your room with this app. The CLC app can save you a good amount of money and time. Very user friendly.
Did have it at 5 stars but since I got my new phone I can't even log in to book.
The only issue is I can't get back into the device so I can Let it make phone calls for me.
it needs to have pictures of the hotel inside... when you click on the hotel, it takes you back to the beginning, which is aggravating as well... When you book a room, it doesn't tell you it's been confirmed...
latest update broke the app. unable to display any hotels no matter the city or preferences selected. website works, just not the app.
this app is not user friendly. Compared to Hotwire this app is about a 2 out of 5, it falls short in many areas. the best part about it is the prices are decent.
I have used this service for 5 years and now it's going downhill. The app and customer service are showing poor quality. I am very dissatisfied and am thinking of no longer using its services.
Surprised with all the negative comments. Maybe the users having trouble are using older phones. I use the app 4 days a week on average and haven't had any trouble with my reservations. You can go to the settings menu and select default to map view if you would rather see a map than list of hotels.
