Nice app, pretty intuitive, straight forward, easy to setup and easy to use. I would like to have an option to set the display brightness intensity when the air purifier starts, i have a AC2729/50 and it starts the display with highest brightness, i would like to set it to minimum as default. Can this feature be added to the app? Also for the sound of the device every time I change a setting, is kind of loud for me, maybe another option in the app to control the sound volume would be good.
i have a Philips AC1214/10 it was paired before with the app and after the current update of the app the device appears offline, repairing does not work, it gets stuck on the final step and a white wifi icon blinks on the device, le: after countless restarts of all 3 devices involved i could finally pair the air purifier
Overpriced filters with barely any filtering medium in them. Actual air filter unit broke after 2 months. What a waste of money and resources.
Empty water tanks are only reported with notifications. There is planty of space for an icon on the summary screen (next to the power button), so I could see which of my humidifiers need their water tanks to be refilled. Also, IFTTT integration is missing.
Crashing after last update from April, 1st 2022. The startup logo is showing for about 1 sec then the app is crashing.
I wish there were negative scores for this failing app that WILL NOT connect or pair with the Philips air purifier. Although the air purifier works well your not getting what you paid for because of this frustrating and useless app, just like the technicians who should hang their heads in shame and tender their resignations to help Philips try and restore its tarnished name.
Easy to use, biggest complaint for me is that we can't turn off the confirmation chime that occurs on the purifier with every button press or every setting change from the app.
Intuitive app with a lot of extra material. Some features seem missing or I just can't find them like setting for the confirmation noises of my device (would like to turn them off), more options for scheduled on/off like what fan speed it should run at what time interval, and I'd like to turn some types of notifications off, but not all. Right now you can only turn all on or off, but I'd like to have only 2 of 3 active.
This is just a copy and paste of the Chinese Air Matters legacy app, just with Philips branding on it so you feel more comfortable sharing your data. Very disappointed that I still can't integrate with Google Assistant. Other Philips devices, esp Hue range, integrate perfectly. Sadly I have to go in to this glitchy app if I want to do basic manual controls, no automation. Dec 2020 update. Tried the new "feature" of connecting to Google. Now unable to sign in to the app at all, so can't control
This app is just a basic remote controller. There's not even a basic scheduling function. I can't set up my purifier to enter "sleep mode" every evening and resume "automatic mode" every morning. Quite disappointing, especially for the most expensive of their 2-in-1 devices (purifier and humidifier). Oh, and I need to re-sync my device with the app and the WiFi, everytime I unplugged it to switch rooms.
Privacy concerns. This app steals clipboard data without consent. Latest version of android proves this; a toast notification alert pops up to let you know your clipboard data has been taken.
Since yesterday I've noticed that my 3858/50 displays everything in chinese. After almost two days of deep searching of how to get back to English, I still have no clue. I would appreciate any help :(
Won't even allow me to log in to my Philips account. Hit Sign in, and it just hangs there loading. Completely worthless. Never getting Philips de voces again.
Connecting 2000i and 3000i was clumsy. Notifications get delayed and only arrive after opening the app again - then I get all of them at once, so they become kinda useless. No way to see if any software upgrade is available for air purifier. Turning off the circle indicator light doesn't always work and reverts to ON the next day anyway... Sounds like easy fixes but no progress so far
Dumb app refuses to work in landscape format, so utterly useless for tablet devices.
WiFi connection lost on the device. Cannot use the app
fantastic would give 5 stars but it has American data ( on some info) not Australian.
Basic functions, the app is ok. Let's you do the basics. Would be nice to have a option of disabling the annoying beep sound from the air purifier each time you change a setting on the app, also the ability to lock the physical controls so toddlers can't mess with it.
I have a Philips air purifier 3000i which, over the past month, I've patiently tried to connect to using this app following every Philips support tip. What a complete and utter waste of time. Just once a WiFi connection was established which dropped after just a few minutes. If the air purifier wasn't such a good device standalone it would have been returned.
You replied that, 'Google assistant is now available' but it doesn't work - says you don't have any devices, but they are definitely connected, have even reinstalled but still no connection
I've been trying for over 40 mins to connect the 3000i air purifier and no luck. Once got Dyson, Roborock, Samsung and a host of other devices but this one is impossible to connect.
I have sent 3 questions to support, not one has been answered. We have a new Air purifier that is not listed in the app, it will not connect and there is no support.
After connecting the device I went for a walk and came back home and wanted to check data on the mob app but I can't connect to it and do not undersdand why.. Poor quality
Does what is required. Connecting to the Google home app is a bit unintuitive, as the service is not equal to the app name ("home clean+" vs. "philips air purifier") and the control through the home app is very limited (only on/off). And I wish there was a way to remove articles from the app, this clutters the UI and feels like advertisement.
