App is not updating cycle status and machines in use; it is very helpful and I've never had a charge issue, it does connect to the machines. Recently, the machine status isn't showing which isn't the end of the world but can be frustrating when trying to time washes and drying cycles. Hopefully this is updated soon!!
It works great, I just load funds to my account and scan the QR code on the machines and they start right up. I take quarters bcuz every now and then the app won't connect to the machine but very rarely. The status of the machines never is correct but I set the timer on my phone so I know when they're done. For me not having to constantly search for quarters using this app is great!
Part of this may be my phone, but I have to restart the app in the middle of connecting often, and find it slow. The timer also doesn't seem to work quite as intended, but I still find this app more convenient than not. Edit: the app keeps asking me to rate it over and over again, so I will be going from 3 stars to 2stars.
Last week we had a problem it was either the app or the machine. The company says it wasn't the machine. I put a wash in notice the changes in the app . When your updating this app let your customers know its down it will be back up at this time. ...our time is just as important as yours it would have saved alot of time that was spent on trying different things on the app to get it to worked and not waist the laundry company time for them to come out trying to figure out what the problem is.
This app should tell you when your laundry machine is done, but it's so bad at it. I just got to the machine with at least 7 minutes left. Sometimes it will forget that you have a machine running and will stop counting down. Does not have an option to use other payment methods like PayPal, Google pay, apple pay ect; you have to trust them with your credit card information in order to load your account. At least it has some useful features, auto-refill, delete account option.
Once I understood how to use it, it sure beats running out for quarters. I am still loving this app. It makes laundry day much easier. The only glitch waa when the wi fi wasn't working and I found that the kiosk to load the card difficult to use.
Works well, sometimes the timers don't refresh correctly, and can't see room status, issue was fixed with a new interface and was fantastic but now has reverted back the original issues and old interface... was 4 stars was going to change it to 5 but disappointed now.
Could be faster to connect - notifications are non existent. The software is designed to notify when the load finishes which is especially handy in a shared laundry room like at my apartment complex but the notifications have worked exactly zero times.
Quickly activates the machine. No more F%#$*ing quarters to mess with! The time notification is off by about 3 minutes however (too early), but I think that is intentional - designed for humans.
They do not refund money when the machines malfunction. App used to display if machines were in use. Very help. They no longer do that. It now has ads to watch before you can start your load. F-ing ridiculous! I used to love this app, now I hate it. Really went down hill.
Slow and buggy. Keeps taking my money and machines don't start, where it takes weeks for a refund request to be resolved and I can only have one pending refund request at a time. Why? I do laundry every week. This being my first or second app review ever is a testimony to how infuriating this app (and all the ancillaries, to be fair) is.
The app is useless for me. I never was able to get past the SMS 4-digit code section. I verified that my phone could receive SMS messages (and it can - there is nothing blocking it), but I still never received the 4-digit code. Will be uninstalling immediately.
Notifications stopped working by the 3rd time I used it, no clear way to activate them again. Also not sure if this is Cleanpay's doing or my landlords' fault but I sure hate paying an overpriced $10 to do laundry every time. My costs didn't go up until I had to use this stupid app so I will place partial blame on CleanPay at least
We have to use this app when we use the washers and dryers but they raised the price .75 each load because of this app. And then it takes 2.00 in credits away, I guess for the priviledge to use the app. So basicly the app cost me 11.25 more then I used to pay for laundry. Then we still have to deal with ads.
it changed the prices of the dryer. it now charges 1.00 for only 45 minutes, which before it was 1.00 for 60 minutes. Other than that convenient and easy.
Change is hard. Especially now that we can no longer pay with actual change and are forced to use this app. It works okay, would just rather not be forced to use it at all for the same thing ive been using for 7 years
Very useful. The only thing keeping it from a 5 star for me is I don't really like how you have to load increments of $10 on there. Why isn't there just an option to charge your card when you use it? I know that's a lot of transactions, but what if I rarely need to wash anything and I don't want to load money unnecessarily?
Very easy and convenient. Only wish an alarm would go off when cycle is complete, not just a message on phone screen.
It was originally 5 stars, then 4, and now it's 3. When it was 4 stars, it was because even if you've already rated the app, the app will ask you to rate it every other time you use it. Now it's 3 stars because I really don't like how you have to log in every time you want start laundry for the day.
Takes a while to connect and start the machine, sometimes I have to scan/start multiple times to get it to work. It's supposed to show machine status, but that definitely doesn't work on any of the machines
I had issues signing in. Wouldn't take my saved email, said wrong format. I typed it in 3 times same email and it finally took it, no change the emails looked identical. I then started up 3 machines no issue, then took 15 minutes to get last 2 started. Had to keep connecting to internet.
Total trash. I've used for two years now because it's the only way to pay in my building. Machines with randomly refuse to connect and customer services' solution is always to hard boot my phone. I shouldnt have to reboot *my* phone in order to clean my clothes
Always runs smoothly. No more driving down the road for quarters. Also works on credit cards.
Well I think you should start the dollar amount at 2 dollars or let people pick how much to load , other then that I really like the app very convenient!
It is very convenient but when I was down on my luck and could not pay my phone bill, if I couldn't get wifi from a neighbor i would be unable to wash my clothes. Also I am plagued with with a scam pop-up every time I log in. Most people in my building find other means. 1.75 a load seems unfair when my rent was raised as well. I think a change is necessary and will happen later instead of sooner unfortunately. If you read this ty for listening. Rich or poor We are equal.
Sometimes it doesn't want to connect even when I have my mobile data on even though my wi-fi should connect, since the machines are in the same building
Paying on my phone makes it soo much easier for me. I don't have to worry about getting quarters or if I'll have enough ! Really easy to use !
The accuracy of the timer of when the machines are finished is at least 10 min off. The app says a machine is finished, I go down to get my laundry, and the machine still has 8 or 9 minutes left. Making me want to wait even longer before checking my machine, Which means you are actually making the problem of people leaving their laundry in the machines worse, Is not better.
There are pro's and con's with this app; pro's: don't have to have loose change on and make sure I have enough. I can easily access my bank account to deposit more into the app. It let's me know when my washer or dryer is finished. Cons: it never keeps me logged in so it makes the process slower. It does take a little more time unlike depositing quarters, but I'm totally okay with that. Also... if I'm broke, I can't just deposit enough for 1 load.. minimum is $10.. js
