Probably the worst mobile app that I've ever seen. Completely useless. Avoid. Nov 2014 update: I've installed the app again. However, I am still not sure whether this app is real or just a joke. It must be just a joke since it still doesn't do anything.
Unusable in landscape. Every tablet case is landscape. Seriously annoying. The UI is tedius, uninventive and plodding. Let's hope this is just a first effort.
But limited as you can't view the P&L or Trial balanceto confirm available funds
The homepage opens but when selecting an item I just get the spinning wheel. App needs updating and maintenance.
ClearBooks is great but the app is slow and doesn't keep upto date with its online counterpart. It needs a bug fix to sort out the updating issue then it would be brilliant
When trying update a previous quote from the app on a HTC One M8, I will enter the new value, click update and it nothing. I simply cannot ammend a quote from this app
Haven't used the app for a while. When I've gone into it none of the info is up to date and it takes a century to refresh!
Does not work. Frustrating to use. Windows and menus behave erratically. Slow loading. Their own support team recommend using the mobile site instead...
VERY POOR APP. Doesn't work on galaxy note 4
It's really lacking compared to Xero app. I've moved from Xero to clearbooks a while ago and this app isn't great in comparison. For example it always shows old data when you log in, surely it could be set to update the current details without manually refreshing?
Very poir quality. You cannit see all invoices and other reports. See other app for accouting their are much better. Awoid !!!
Disappointed full of bugs. Easer to go to the website.
Great if you like looking at a box that says "Loading bank accounts"
Needs alot of work
Having been the main option for professionals for so long sage have rested on their laurals and assumed they didn't have to invest in upgrading their software or integrating with the new technologies available. Clear books have astutely assessed the needs of professional accountants and provided outstanding software at realistic prices. Thanks so much.Tony
I love clearbooks and have invested in this company however you need to get stripe credit card processing sorted! Other companies are doing this now...
Can't find decimal point when entering a purchase? ...
Useful for an at-a-glance view of your dashboard, but redirects to the website for anything more detailed. Nothing mind-blowing but still handy. Works fine on my N4 and N10.
Large chunk of our client bas e is independent contractors. Adhere to their needs too. I would say ability to add an expense is a major requirement here
A lot of the totals don't add up correctly or are inaccurate.
Unresposive
This app is good and has demonstrated that it has the pedigree to be great but not there yet. The app balance and the online balance are not always up to date. Emails were still being sent to clients even though they had a zero balance. In my unpaid sales clients that had already paid in full was still being showed as owing. There are a number of other issues such as making online declaration to HMRC for VAT among others but apart from that it is a good app and would recommend it.
I'm happy there's a mobile app for this, but it would be great if we could see our account balances. I can't do much with it as it is.
Clearbooks is good but this app is not great. Better support needed for those of us in the retail business please.
In fact I have no confidence that any number it's showing is correct as so often they have been wrong, which means its totally useless unfortunately. :/
Clearbooks user? I used to be, in fact I still am whilst it takes months to export all of our data manually! Development is excruciatingly slow.
Terrible app. Desktop version too but at least that one works fine. Non of them straightforward enough, you have to be techy or an accountant I don't know but it's beyond me for some reason. The mobile version is pretty much unusable, becoming unresponsive far too many times. Not recommended
