ClearStream TV WiFi Tuner Adapter for TV Antennas

This app and the accompanying device are TERRIBLE. It never worked the way it should. The app and device cannot even connect to its own network (“CLEARSTREAMTV_XXXX”) most of the time. I always thought it was antenna placement or WIFI (I have gigabit internet.) Your antennas are GREAT, this is NOT. (I have a Clearstream 2MAX) You get better performance (you can actually watch content) by just hooking the antenna directly to the TV. The only saving grace is that I only paid $30 for the device, the fact that the retail price is $100 is ridiculous. Yes, the one I bought was new.

Works great on my iPad, was working on my Android until recently now it can't find the device. I wish I could see actual channel information. I'm between 2 transmitter locations so most of my channels are doubled up. In snow/rain one set has problems. It's hard to tell which ones to delete.

Had my eye on this device when it was $100. Just picked it up for $20 in clearance. It' enabled me to reposition the antenna to obtain additional channels. The device streams effortlessly on HD via the app on Roku as well as on my Samsung s7plus. The device does what it states it will do via a stable internet connection.

I bought this so I could move my indoor antenna closer to the window for better reception without having to run a cord. After setup the quality was no different than it was when the antenna was hooked directly to the tv. I guess I can say the device does what it says, allows you to watch antenna wirelessly, but there is no boost in quality.

Well, I updated my entire entertainment system for both living room and bedroom and decided to whip out the antenna again to get local channels. And to my surprise, the app is not compatible with my Chromecast with google TV, or any of my Android Smart TV. I really don't want to run coaxial cable from outside into both my rooms (Apt life...)

Absolutely horrible. Followed instructions exactly then all the sudden the app freezes. Now it won't broadcast a signal or anything. Spent 30 minutes trying to reset it and it won't. Waste of money!

This device was working great until I had to unplug and move my wireless router. Ever since, after I setup the Wifi Tuner it won't get to the point where I can scan for channels. I have tried everything....

Needs 2 be faster, better chip design, Android tv is needed , better heat solver, needs to scan quicker and needs to remember what channels was scaned and not ever time i install new app. And needs to stream with iptv links so more devices can access without app. Just fix this and redesign it now..

Could have been a great product but doesn't compare to similar priced solutions. Sure you can record live tv but you can't schedule anything for recording. I love the android support but unfortunately had to return this product in favor of a channel master..

Took it back same day I bought it. Constantly saying Device Not Found, the device was close about 5 feet away from modem, my phone and Roku. It got really hot. I found it in Walmart in clearance from $99 to $35. No wonder it was in Clearance. Not worthed.

Worst app and worst device ever created. Neither the app or the device work. Do not waste your money on this product. Get AirTv or use the built in live TV function with Plex. The only reason why I purchased this item is because it was on clearance and even then this so is not worth the money or the time.

Bought one today from walmart and installed the app after setting up the device. app needs three permissions which i was not comfortable with, as its just an streaming service, why you need storage and location permissions. Also, for what reasons you want permission over apps? Is this some type of phishing app? Can you please justify why I should give you these permissions?

App works great. the Device i had issues with after 10 months of occasional use. But i am gonna say these people stand behind there products and were extreamly quick to make it right. They have replaced the Clearstream WiFi device, to which i am most greatful. I want to give a huge thanks to these people. They could have just as easily told me tuff luck, but they didn't. I can say i will make my future purchesses with Clearstream, Antennas Direct. You all are great and i appreciate it.

Cannot use this app on Android TV it's not in Android TV play store so I side loaded it onto my Nvidia Shield Android TV and was able to install it but it opens then closes haven't had that with other apk files that are cell phone version applications so I guess it's not supported for Android TV ? and that's why I bought the device.... Makes no sense to use cast then I'd have to use my phone as aDVR when i don't have enough phone storage! why all other OS- including Android but not Android TV?

I love this app! before this product I didnt have access to OTA TV in my house because my TVs are not in good positions for an antenna. I found and bought this transmitter and its only day 1 but Im ao happy I have TV!!

Completely pathetic device. I've connected it over 40 times and it still never works. Can't get any help from the company even after multiple emails. Don't waste your money with this trash.

Great app awesome concept but.... some minor improvemets to hardware and the app could set them above all similar devices!

It's horrible, can't update, won't stay connected and I have to reboot and connect everyday!

Works fine 40% of the time. Very unstable app. It's like a pre-alpha edition of regular app.

This app crashes when casting to chromecast and there's no option for casting to roku.

Refuses to connect to the device at all, even when I'm connected to its wireless connection. I wouldn't recommend this at all.

Works great! Antenna pulls in signal, ClearStream allows you to watch it anywhere in the house, NO SUBSCRIPTION....

Requires display over other apps (one of largest warnings of malicious software and for showing a map of towers in area NOT NEEDED) Uninstalled immediately

If you have good reception, it's a perfect app. Have to fight with it at times.

As of today (been using it for a while), no issues.

Garbage. Do yourself a favor, if you bought this device - just put it in the trash. If you've made up your mind to buy one - save yourself some time and put your money in the trash.

Already have an antenna and will not purchase one thanks but no thanks
