Clearview FCU Mobile

So I love my new Credit Union. I've never had an account with one and they made it super easy but their app system is confusing. I wish they had columns set up that you can click on to see withdrawals, deposits, and check deposits. It's all together and doesn't give you when the date was it was taken or deposited into your account. You have to reach line carefully and figure it out. At least make the font color different?

Most other banking apps I have experience using are a very watered down version of the website capabilities. With Clearview, I can access everything that I would be able to do online in an easy to navigate fashion. The only thing I wish was present in the app that is on the full website is the total deposits across all accounts. Otherwise, I really do love the ease of use and accessibility of the app.

Most of the app is really good. The mobile deposit app is incredibly terrible. I hate that it talks to me. I hate that it makes the shutter sound. It takes a terrible picture. It's just overall much worse than the last one that you had. Here we are 2 months later and there are still no changes to the Mobile Deposit portion of your app. Please give an opinion for silent mode! please upgrade the photos taken of the checks. I have to fight with it Every time I try to deposit a check.

The largest and most frustrating issue to me is the check deposit. I've had this app for years and not once has it ever worked. I've tried calling about it, and all they tell me to do is do it in better lighting. I get errors that the name on the check doesn't match the user on the account, that the date isn't within the proper range, that the amount on the check says 0.00 and not the amount it's actually written for. Absolutely ridiculous.

I love it! Very easy to navigate!! I've been a member with this credit union for 14yrs. When I started utilizing their app, Whew...what a major game changer! Very convenient and a smooth operator!

The mobile deposit feature on this app is terrible. That is the main function I use and it takes me countless tries each time to try and deposit a check. Much easier with other bank apps I've used. Update: I have tried using a dark surface with ample lighting and it still takes at least 5 tries before it finally works. Every time.

Great app, however the transfer feature hasn't been working on mine for at least a month. You can set everything up but when you press the transfer button nothing happens. Has anyone else experienced this issue?

I can't get the app to accept my login credentials ("Sorry Please enter valid login credentials") on a Galaxy S9, However I can login via a browser with those same credentials. When I contacted Clearview they told me that my carrier (StraightTalk) has something preventing 2 factor authentication from passing through. StraightTalk tells me "I am sorry, but the App is from Google Play Store. We are not associated to Clearview.". Apparently, it will not work with all cellular providers, StraightTalk being one of them..

Recent app enhancements make remote deposit more difficult. Auto capture complains about the angle and the photos are blurry. I can take manual photos of my check with my phone and they look fine, but within the app they are awful.

After I have to enter my credentials to log in, i always turn on the fingerprint ID in my settings. It will work one time before I log in again and it tells something about my fingerprint changing, which nothing changed, and makes me fill it all out again to log in. I have to turn the fingerprint ID back on in the settings, it will work for the next time I log in and then I have to do this whole routine over again for the following log in after that. Its beyond irritating!

hood good app. makes banking alot easier and convenient. I wish I was able to get my account number and routing number from the app. if you can, I cant find it so it needs to be easier to retrieve.

I'm not sure what to compare it to, but I'm generally happy with Clearview and it's support, which I rarely, but occasionally need. It's easy. Maybe that's what I like best. I don't have trouble navigating or finding things.

It is super easy to use and very convenient when not able to make a quick stop to the bank (depositing checks, managing money, transferring money), would definitely reccomend!! :)

I love the app. only thing that would make it better is notifications after each transaction immediately. That would make it easier to know if account is at risk soon as a transaction isn't made by you.

so far, I tried to deposit my first check, and when it takes a picture of the front of the check, it has the camera window going the other way and it doesn't matter how I change the phone, it's always the wrong way. Someone needs a look at that.

Love the app! Mobile check deposit, all of my accounts and loans in one place! Easily transfer cash to and from accounts. Easy to use. Everything in one place never any problems!

I signed the charges dispute but cannot determine if it was returned to Sara, the Clearview Live teller who had helped me so much!!!! Isn't there any way to confirm that she received my signed form???? Plus the s?submit button is not responding...it's not lit!!! What's up Clearview????

love this app. not sure what i would do without online banking with this app. edit: still love the app. something i would like to see, a way to input a pending transaction. i.e. if i write a check, i can input it as pending so if it's not cashed for a while i don't forget about it.

The check deposit function is TERRIBLE. Has difficulty reading checks. Sometimes have to retake photo many times or wait till daytime and take check photos outside. Neither manual nor auto work well unless the check has giant type.

Runs smoothly, nice interface without any clutter, pop-ups etc. Crashes occasionally on my s10+

A little clunky, things aren't as easy to find or do as they are on other banking apps. But it isn't terrible.

Quick and easy to use. I wish it was easier to add external accounts I meant adding external accounts for transfers.

Camera is very picky and often second guesses the photos or signature only to accept it after several tries. I have 2 diff bank apps on my phone and this is the one I loathe.

Adequate. Helpful. Would like to see the image recognition in the deposit part of the program improve a bit if I had one request. Decent. Helpful. Will use again.

Used to be able to sign in with my fingerprint. Anymore I have to log in with my password which is kind of a pain when it was so easy before. Ill never understand why features are taken away from apps.
