This bank app is just ok. However it is majorly outdated in look, feel, and design. Basically is just the website on a mobile app. This unfortunately makes navigating not so easy. Which is my mind is bad because I use this app at least twenty times a day. It's my biggest complaint with Clearwater.
It says that the app allows you to register for zelle, there is a website which takes you to the app and then it says there is an area for you to register. There isn't and I have money that is sent to me which I can't receive. FIX YOUR APP.
Horrible since update. App doesn't remember my login information or fingerprint. Classic example of a company trying to fix something that isn't broken. i rely a lot on quick access to my account to transfer funds and keep an eye on balances. Customer service told me to delete app, reinstall, and make sure my android os was updated. Did all of that and it still doesn't work. Basically got an "oh well, we will work on it."
Will never load, have to uninstall and reinstall the app every couple of months. Have to take a picture of my check what seems like 100 times before it will work on mobile check deposit part of the app. I've had nothing but issues with the app, which is super inconvenient because I live out of state. Sadly might have to change banks if this keeps happening... :(
The most important part is the mobile check deposit. It is almost impossible to capture a picture of your check! The app puts the capture button in a nonintuitive spot that forces my hand to shake when taking the picture yet it won't even TRY to take the photo when there is the slightest bit if shake. I'm going to have to switch credit unions.
Poorly-designed UI, app crashes repeated, and mobile deposit only works 50% of the time for me. I use Clearwater as a backup bank to my Simple account. With Simple account I'm looking for a new primary bank. I would never consider using or reccomending Clearwater until their App is sufficient to the task, and they're decades behind what I expect.
This app hasn't worked ever since they switched names. Half the time it won't open. When it does it takes forever to load my accounts screen. Then when I click on the account I want to look at it never loads it. I have had to go to my pc every time in order to check my accounts.
The main feature I use is the mobile deposit, but that stopped working in the fall of 2018. Now it just hangs at "Please wait", indefinitely. I have a G5, completely up to date. Called MFCU in January and they said the Febuary update would fix it, it didn't. Now I can watch the "Please wait" circle of doom in a different theme, but that's the only change. It's 2019, we have robots in Mars. I'm sure this app can be made to work properly.
The app malfunctioned on my Android repetitively while I was attempting to change my password. It took multiple failures until I gave up and logged in online via my laptop. Had no idea what the security status was of my account as the app continually malfunctioned.
Before the newest update, this app would at least work, even if it was slowish. Now it will open, but it won't do anything else but give you a dark screen. No logo, no login, no buttons. Nothing but a near black screen. Can we please have a fix soon?
App is crashing all the time lately and has been very slow. Says invalid username or password which is impossible since I've been using this for years. Also it's annoying they only support Apple pay and not Samsung pay.
My new phone ( droid ) doesn't have the same display , layout, like before. This is much more difficult to deal with
Since upgrade to online banking by MFCU the app isn't working. Have made sure I have the right android app and have uninstalled and reinstalled the app a couple of times and it is still not working. Not happy!
I can never ever get this app to work. Uninstalled it and reinstalled it, tried different phones. Nothing works. Great app when it's actually useable.
This app is horrible, it was working at least subpar , now i can't even make a tranfer to make my mortgage or any other transfer , it keeps timing me out before the transaction can finish ! please fix ASAP !
As of 12/2018, the app will no longer load on either of my galaxy note 8 devices. Until then, it has been entirely useful. Please fix.
hate the update. home screen amount wont update unless you log in. checked for amount before purchases and withdrawls that was off by a 100$. trying to bugget for 3 kids at a grocery store while the amount is incorrect is horrible.
I've been using this app for years with no problems. Always works. My bank is more than one time zone away. This app is how I make that wirk.
I have never had a single problem with this app until today I can't even get past the loading screen and it freaks me out if I have been hacked I am going to be pissed I have uninstalled this app for my safety and will not reinstall it until the I see the bank I have had this app since the app was made
Occasional disruption in access, overall, very convenient and time saving.
Terrible app, really really bad. The reason I no longer have an account with them. Easy to screw up. 😨
i cant use the app anymore. it says I need to update my android. my phone is up to date. this is the only app I have trouble with.
For 3 weeks i cant get into app it wount even let me sign in. It goes to this session has timed out try again later.very unprofessional when your trying to work your buisness.
Never had bugs or issues, very convenient. You can't beat local customer service!

No problems after getting a recent version of Android. Like support for finger print. But nobody could tell me why this app needed to change to support Zelle payments. I called the bank and they're clueless. Frustrating!
