Click & Grow Official Plant App

Garbage app, always crashes, bluetooth setup is a joke...consider this app as zero stars. Limited monitoring of the garden. More development is needed to make the app useful.

App Flaws: it will override where a new pod is placed if you have more than one open spot. If I am tracking in an app I want accuracy.

Created an account through Google, and the app does log in with Google. The button doesn't do anything. What a great first experience... Also, don't bother ordering from them. They will take payment, and 2.5 months later, you won't have your items and they won't email you back. Ever. This company is a crook. Not much of a "smart" garden given the only way to change light cycles is to unplug and plug back in at the time you want the cycle to start. Nothing smart about this.

Unfortunately this app is clearly unstable and unreliable. Trying to log in with Google does nothing, only causes a blank banner to briefly slide across the screen before returning to the login page. Creating a new account, I was annoyed to find that it was giving a wrong password error, despite the password working on the website. Attempting to create a new password in the app doesn't work either since the submit button just gets highlighted but doesn't actually execute anything.

The app is alright, but definitely lacking in features. I should be able to move plants from one garden to another or update the dates that a plant was planted. This is basic functionality that the app is lacking. I should also be able to update or edit logbook posts and can't do this either. Sometimes the app will say that there is a new tip, but it will just be the same old tip again. Overall, this app is not worth having for me. I am going to uninstall it and just manually track my plants.

This app is pretty ehh, sign in with google didn't succeed, maybe some admin rights issue. FB worked. I added the device, and added 3 plants and notes for each plant. Found some stats page and thats pretty much it, nothing else to do with the app. Click & grow needs to enable a method (maybe through the app) to ajust the light cycle, having to unplug and replug to set a cycle is stupid. If the power goes out it's messed up again. Isn't that hard to add an internal clock or something.

The app doesn't save the garden setup, that it is the only "smart" feature it should have. No BT, no iot, no chance to drive the LEDs, no chance to monitor the water level through the app. It is a simple white tray, with white cups and LEDs. The app is only a shoppable catalog. No trace of smart functions at all.

I have to agree with everyone that the login experience was very, very bad. On the positive side, the app requires no special notifications, so I'm not worried at the moment about it reading my location or contacts. So for now it's getting three stars but I don't think it's actually earned it yet. After some cajoling, the account and garden are set up. We shall see.

Overall the app looks nice and the information is helpful and insightful. However, it is buggy, e.g. receiving notification for archived plants, push notifications not working,... Also it is really slow loading any information, even just my garden. Why is that? No other app is that slow.

Trouble connecting my planters to the app. Got 2 planters, managed after plenty of trials and plenty of resets connect them both. Only to find out 1h later they can't connect..... now morning after, trying to connect again, even reinstalled the app several times. Managed to connect 1, then to find out 5min it can't reconnect. I spent extra $ on Bluetooth for what reason?!

I almost didn't download this due to all the bad reviews. I saw that it had been updated about a month ago, though, so decided to try it and I'm very impressed. I didn't have any of the problems mentioned in other reviews and find the app to be sleek, very easy to use and filled with information about my plants that is easily accessed and very useful. Highly recommend.

App works poorly. Can't add my current plants, after adding them and clicking done nothing happens, screen with device and no plants is shown. Back click is disabled without any proper reason, poor UX.

So the actual growers are awesome, the pods are great. The app is good, but needs a few small changes. If I want to move a pod in one of my growers, or to another grower. I should be able to do so. As everything doesn't grow at the same rate, reorganizing is important.

Login fails constantly. Reset password does not reset your password. Tried to get help but they just direct you to FAQs..meanwhile my plants are needing care but I dont know what to do bc the app won't let me login. After undownlpadong the app and redownloading to try and troubleshoot myself, the app won't even download. I finally got back in after 2 weeks from my original issue without any help from the click and grow support.

Worst customer service!!! I bought the product as part of Black Friday sale last year. The auto-timer lights stopped working within 5 days of receiving it. The customer service guy responded after a week saying they will send me a replacement and its been 3 weeks and they have not sent it. I sent them multiple emails asking what happened and I have received no response and nor the replacement. Now they are charging $7+ every month as subscription when I can't even use the product!!!!

I use this alongside my Click & Grow 9. I don't get why this has so many bad reviews, the app works very well, great optimisation, can clearly see some care and love went into it. Brilliant and the tips help a lot! Generic growing tips help but the tips this app provides are very specific to the unique growing setup that the plants are in, there are tips you wouldn't think of that have definitely helped my plants. Would give 6 stars if I could.

Very easy to use sign up with my email sent a code and I was ready to start and see all the info the app isn't needed but I think the information is great. Also you know what you grew Everytime you plant something new . All in all very easy to use and download.

Seems good! I like the ability to make notes about each plant. However, I noticed the note being for the following date if I made it around 11pm. Doesn't seem to be following my phone's time zone which is very unfortunate.

Couldn't log in with Google. When I eventually set up an account manually it seemed there's not a lot of point to having the app anyway. I like the product but the app doesn't add anything to the experience, so uninstalled.

While the product itself is quite good I hate to say this app sucks. I tried multiple things but could not connect to more than 1 gardens simultaneously. As of the gardens, they really should at least use Wi-Fi if not zwave/ZigBee for a real smart iot device.

There's nothing smart about the garden. It doesn't monitor water level nor the lights can be controlled. The UX is also bad. Keeps loading from the network everytime you navigate around.

Finally logged in after many attempts (not through Google as this does not work), all started to work fine . However, after couple months app cleared my login and I am not even able to retrieve password to log back in to my garden :(

app was working fine for a few days and then logged me out. When attempting to login I enter my credentials and click login and nothing happens. no error message. Can't login for days now can't view my garden. I am using a galaxy s8+

The app opens but I'm not able to link the account to my Google credentials, only create a whole new account. The web-based version works but this app needs improvement.

Useless App. Thankfully I had tried out the app first before deciding to purchase the smart version, which the app does not supports. Why bother allowing users to include info on their gardens when it's not saved.

I have never been able to log into my account in the application, making it useless. I can log in to the website no problem, but not the app... Not even with my Google login.

Really basic and doesn't allow you to go back and amend logs or the dates of when the pods were first planted as I hadn't realised at the time that this app existed. Needs a lot of work

I was unable setup social account. When trying to create an account manually the password field is not recognised by my password manager. These two faults make the app unusable for me.

Useless app. I understand that you have to put a lot of effort. But what's the point in creating an app that has the same info from the website? Why do we have to install app on our phone to just read the same thing from the website. I am a developer too I understand the effort and stress. I am sorry I didn't mean to be rude.. I'm just upset with the app. I expected it to be a smart app. I thought it would give me more details and I can connect to my garden.

It won't let me add my new garden, I get an error message every time. it's a Smart Garden 3 and I'm using a Samsung Galaxy S8.
