Leave well enough alone. I won't ever get why people want to upgrade something all the time that already works fine. It started out great. Then some genius decided it needed to be advanced and messed up the whole experience. Now it reminds me of an ad I find on Facebook that takes me through 50 pages of one story chopped up in 3 sentence segments just to get you to the end and change to another story without really making the purpose of the first one clear. Just wow. What is wrong? Smh.

Have now used for awhile, so can now give true opinion: A great app. Updated w/the latest news, no errors, push alerts (if choose) are timely and accurate especially breaking news. In fact, when it comes to this station and this app, I believe no one handles breaking news better. Superb. One issue, will get alerted to watch in app a breaking alert, but when you do - you still have to watch an ad, even though it is suppose to be "urgent." + ads at bottom appear as news, but are links to ad sites.

I used to love this app. It used to be my go-to app for all my news. After all these "improvements" and updates, it has become too quirky and cumbersome to use. For example: when I select an alert for a specific news story from my notifications list, it 1) it takes forever to load a screen that (2) contains a list of news stories that (3) may ar may not actually include the story I selected the notification for in the first place. I have to go back to the home page to find it myself

Literally the worst app I have from a reliability standpoint. It's slow, it crashes, and I can't imagine creating and maintaining something so bad and then actually going home and feeling satisfied professionally at the end of the day. I've given it more than enough time - I'm done with it.

I can no longer enlarge a pic, table, graph or article. Your app no longer accepts being rotated (phone turned sideways, and yes it is enabled on my phone settings)!! I am considering going to a different local news app. Video enlargement doesn't always work either!!! Takes forever to load news articles, videos, amongst other issues!!Anyone else having these issues?????

The APP does not enlarge on my 55 inch screen, I emailed the Click on Detroit Station and they sent back a robot reply and they have been 2 weeks now and still have not replied with a response what is wrong with their APP. I uninstalled their APP and re-installed there APP and problem persists. Also when Sports Bernie starts to talk the APP goes to commercial. To many Commercial breaks interrupt the main flow of the broadcast. I am trying to use cellphone screen cast DEX too put picture up on my

I have had app for years. Always great until last update. Now stories either don't open or it takes 3 to 4 minutes for them to open. Thinking about changing to new Detroit news source if they can't fix this. App is still struggling to open stories. Very frustrating. Can't even open stories look at it thru play store

This has been my go-to news app for a long time. But a few days ago it started auto-playing videos in the background making it impossible to continue using the app without bothering those around me. Until this stops it is uninstalled and I recommend everybody else does as well.

I am so disappointed with the Live Streaming! I have tried from my phone and laptop. Rarely ever works! Plays ads but doesn't play the news, I can never get it to work. Was especially sad today because my daughter's a member of the Detroit Youth Choir and they had a feature story and I missed it 😢

Waaayyy too many notices. I must receive 10-20 per day. The worst part is that when I click on the link from the teaser, at least half of the time it will bring me to something entirely different. Not trying to be mean, but if this is "new and improved," I'm very glad I didn't have the previous version. I installed the app 2 days ago and will be uninstalling it as soon as I hit POST on this review.

The reason I got the app was for the fireworks and I was not impressed with the reception and it was not very user friendly. What I really hated was all of the constant news updates in the background. I am just fine watching the news on TV and reading the the newspaper. I understand that one of the reasons for the app is to keep you updated and informed and it does that very well. I decided to uninstall the app.

Roll back the vs while you finish debugging app! New vs is awful. App used to be rock solid. Now it sits there thinking what to load. Did you hire the oakland press software developers? App turned into paper weight. Running on sg8.

The stories don't seem to load up like they used to. You can look up news stories in your local county and now the content is Unavailable since the upgrade. It's not the same and I'm very disappointed. The ads are getting worse.

The app has periodically opens without content. Uninstalled/Installed with no success. Got news from menu selection. Finally auto populated on 2-3 days later. Disappointing because actually best of 3 local stations in reporting news.

I used to love this app. Starting with last updates it auto plays videos and audio. There is no way to disable. VERY ANNOYING especially if checking the news during a meeting or other quiet moments.

After the last update, stories no longer load the text, i just get a spinning circle. This app is absolutely useless, if I can't click on a story and read it.

It's an okay news app. Can be annoying, as I often get push notifications to specific stories. However, clicking on the push doesn't take me to that story.

Best news around. Moved here four years ago. All the news anchors, weather, traffic, etc are captivating and entertaining. Enjoy the segment on different restuarants surrounding Detriot for new places to try, places to visit, and All 4 Pets. Remember Sandra Ali from one of the cities I use to live in. Love Michigan! Everytime I go onto the app. I cannot find anything about contest in the menu. I have also missed the morning show a few times & clicked onto the app. to watch what I missed but vannot find it.

It was a good app. Recently, audio ad's would start without prompting. Don't know what is going on but it is intolerable. If it continues then I will remove this app.

For info (weather, news & sports) they are on top of their game, if you can accept word mispellings somewhere in their posts. Mispelled words ("gril" for "girl," "thier" for "their" as examples) will generally be somewhere in their stories as well as other occasional grammatical errors. This is a frequent issue, not a "one off." Doesn't anyone at their station (copy editor, etc.) review this info before it gets posted? Not acceptable coming from a "news" organization.

This used to be a really good app but they have taken a hard turn to the left since the 2020 election. Not even remotely impartial anymore. 90% of their content comes from the AP. Still good for some local content.

There is an issue with thr latest update. Use to be able to view several stories, however now only able to view about 10. Also when trying to access the county news, only receive an apology that the information is unavaliable.

Sick and tired of the daily "Michigan's Daily Covid Cases" notification. Every day for the last 2 years. That's not news anymore. Hasn't been in awhile

It appears you can only in an Insider if you are on social media. I find the app has a lot of bugs that you can't read additional content. It won't download

Stories at the top of the list do not have the text when you click on them. This is a recent problem never happened in the past please fix or I will have to find a new app.

App opens to "content unavailable" error screen - everytime. Found I can access content thru the index. Third time I've reinstalled the app, too.

The updated app has been long awaited. Thank you! Finally I am able to watch Click On Detroit (Channel 4) on my TV out of state! The app works GREAT! 👌👍
