Very clean app, but I'm unable to use it for some basic tasks (could.benuser error). I want to measure the angle between two planes, so it would be useful to place on one plane, reset to zero and move to the second plane. I does not seem to allow that. Also in AR mode it only provides a virtual moving vertical, not a horizontal which is required for shelves or picture hanging. Can ot do this?
This app is exactly what I'm looking for: simple, free, shows the camera view so that I can measure slope inclinations accurately. Its downfall is that the measurements lag behind the movement of the phone by several seconds, making it very annoying to use (measurements may not stabilize for 5-10s)
Forward facing camera and determination of angle through lock button should work great for avoiding avalanches. Our instructor in AIARES 1 training had an app similar to this but on iOS. This looks to replicate it and help avoid slopes above 30 degrees that can slide while being at the top of the slope.
first clinometer that uses the front camera and sights through preview. I've downloaded seven "clinometers" and four "transits" and two "levels" that all had high dl numbers and over four stars. this is literally the first one that has the most basic function I'm looking for. yay.
Good App! Simple but does the job! Operates smoothly unlike some other apps I tried. Would be nice to see gradient % displayed as well, ability to take a photo for reference or zoom functions.
Simple once you get the basic concept. However when measuring inclination with phone on edge the phone in portrait is zero instead of the left edge as expected. Could do with configurations.
You can't ask for a simpler app. This is going to be of great use in the set-up of the driveline and alignment of the front-end on my vintage Ford Mustang. No ads to fight through is a big plus, too!
Works but crashes the phone (turns it off) a few seconds after I enables camera view. Frustrating. Maybe because I use an old Nexus 6 (Android 7.1.1).
Simple, clean display with a design that integrates tilt vs rotation of phone. Degrees beyond 90° being displayed are great for overbend check. d^^b
I don't yet understand it, or what tilt and angle are determined but it looks quite specific and apparently accurate. will discover as i tinker. am hoping this helps me direct and angle my solar panels. otherwise, it's interesting.
Needs more work, but functional enough. Stabilization could be a tad faster. Over all, utility of this app is very good.
Works well, but needs to be landscape instead of portrait or at least have the option to switch.
Works great! However, if camera could be zoomed you have a hell of an app for those of us who are all day in construction field!
Please add an option to disable the loud DING sound, and the app should remember that i enabled camera , a compass indicator would be very helpfull too :D
Simple compact and does the job. Camera zoom would make it better.
Great tool, but need to be able to zoom in camera mode
You can use you phones camera see up or down the slope your trying to measure. Very nice feature 👍
Good, but could do with more work. It would help to be able to use the camera zoom with the app
Simple, clean, and work. Exactly what it should be, 5/5!
This is the best, simple and accurate clinometer app I have found in the Play Store.
Simple, easy to use app with accurate measuring. Couldn't ask for more.
Nice simple program. Easy to use, reasonably accurate.
Simple. Does what it says on the tin. Non-intrusive permissions.
Great app, simple and straight forward without too much clutter
Seems to be working great, didn't measure it with professional equipment but still
actually really good, love that it's got a decimal of precision
Should be able to calibrate phone sensor/reading.
I saw a hill of incedible gradient and I wanted to see how steep it is. This app did the job
Simple but works. Very little features
Good app that need a touch more work. For my purposes, checking slopes on tracks for accessibility, the logical way to use the phone is long side to the ground. Unfortunately, when placed on its side the text does not rotate. The app also provides figures for the inclination of both edges. In my context the data for the short edge is not relevant. One has to be careful to pick up the right figure. Thus an option to choose one or other data stream, or both, would be good. Worth testing.
