Love it! I bought Clipper Pro for a tablet, which sadly ceased to function nearly 2 years ago. (I'd like to transfer it to this phone, but don't know how.) The Clipper app - even the free one that I'm presently using - is brilliant for holding onto all sorts of text and URLs, and exporting the whole thing via email. Simple to use; it does most of the work for you.
heads and tails Above the Rest. They thought of everything. One Step copy and close. Sorting galore. Named list and default list. options for dark mode, and font size. It's THE BEST. it even Auto migrates your data if you upgrade to Clipper+ (fyi - others don't, argh). my only wish was that it didn't log copies from certain apps (like passwords from keepers) for more than 30 seconds.
Exactly what I was searching for. I needed a simple app that keeps a history of my clipboard (whatever I have copied). There is also the 'pin' option and lists to save favorites clips. I was using the app 'andClip' before, which was great, but unfortunately it does not work anymore so this is a great replacement.
I am a person who needs to make notes so I have found the Clipper app to be extremely useful for me. It allows me to make multiple lists of things I need to remind myself of. It will also show in my notifications if I want it to which is very useful! I also store other information in there along with reminders. I prefer this app to the notepad my phone came with.
Works pretty well. Very useful and great reminder tool. However, when starting a new sentence it doesn't revert to Uppercase for the first word. And typing a longer paragraph..it doesn't automatically travel down to where your cursor is so you'd see what you're typing. You have to move the screen down manually. But fantastic tool otherwise! Thanks.
Fantastic, well worth ugrading to the plus version with sync. Really useful to have custom lists of clippings I might refer back to later. Saves so much time and energy, especially where I might be inputting the same information again and again, e.g. Email addresses, contact details, text and tags for todoist, snippets of website articles I found useful, , etc., etc.
Worked great until it stopped saving clippings. I like to draft my important texts before sending them and rely on clipper when I need to send a quick text to someone and Dave that important draft. Recently I've lost drafts that we're perfect because it just didn't save the clips and by the time I remembered it had overwritten the most recent.
Well designed and informative. Directions are simple and asy to follow. It's 🚫 not bogged down with intrusive advertisements. An absolute joy to use. I find that most apps lack the quality of this one.
Question: I installed your Clipper app on 2 android phones. On one with Android 7 it works fine. And on another one with Android 10, it says: Your Device is Incompatible. Unfortunately Google has removed background clipboard access for apps like Clipper in this version of Android. Clipper will not be able to save clippings in the background. Can you please tell me, till which Android version background clipboard access works without restriction? Thanks.
I have found Clipper to do every thing I wanted when I first downloaded it, I didnt use it for very many clips, but now I have exceeded the number of Clips it is limited to. I have recently upgraded to the Clipboard Managed which has very few restrictions . its awasome it does so much more, it's has so many additional featuers, that I can ever think about using. I highly recommend.
Very good posting & note taking app. Would like to see; word search feature and a counter of clips; example 1/72, 2/72, 3/72... And since, the sync backup is no longer... How about support for Google Drive...
Works perfect! Easy to use and no crashes (unlike another clipboard app in the store I won't mention where the app developer was a jerk to people in the comments because they were addressing app issues). Enjoying this app so far and it's my new clipboard go-to. Thanks!
This is a great app – – And aother tool to copy and paste stuff to, with no apparent limit (!) on the amount of characters you can copy and paste into a note, making it very useful for parking stuff, and then editing it to file it, use it somewhere else. Ps. Yo... Developers...? Why don't you guys/gals add some folders to this thing??
The recent Android version does not allow Clipper to be as useful, but it is still a great app. Placing an item in the database requires an additional step, however if you are using SwiftKey, you can save multiple clips with it, then go back to Clipper and "bulk" add them. Android should allow exceptions to allow Clipper to function.
A most beautifully implemented, must-have, app! Automatically saves most recent cuts/copies, making them -- together with categorized lists of favorite clips -- always available (via persistent notification) ... for incredibly easy one-touch re-copying. A tremendous time-saver that significantly upgrades the Android user-experience!
This is one of those apps I couldn't live without. It syncs an extended clipboard across all devices. Signatures, boilerplate text and standard terms can be written in your computer, filed then pasted into phone messages when you need them. Awesome, well done!
Could you please under Notification Actions add "Pin this Clip" as an option in addition to the others (Clear, Clear Delete) this will help make up for the Android 10 changes as I can currently at least see current clipboard data and can always go into the app and pin it. But this would be so much easier if after I copy I can just swipe down and Pin from there.
Very good app. Could have given > 5 stars. Need some more features : 1) Swipe to next/previous clip. 2) Selection check box in search results. 3) Sorting on 'last updated'. 4) Regular Expression in search. 5) BEWARE! Once, I accidentally uninstalled the app and lost my 10,000 clips.
Unbelievable, I made a whole list of clippings that I was going to use in the future and when I checked back on them literally nothing saved (mind you it was a LIST, LIST. and I clicked 'Save' multiple times!) It's very simple to use but didn't save anything I had, deleted.
The new update seems to have a bug. It is stuck at Privacy choices settings. Those who faced such issue may get around the problem by selecting some feature in that settings such as clicking [Show Personalized ads]->[Don't send reports].
It is worth the money to upgrade to Clipper + if only to get rid of adds . What I like beqst though about the upgrade is that you can set set the number of clips saved before automatic clean up starts well above the 20 that you get in this version . For a free app it is good.
Very handy and helpful. I wish there was an icon I could set on my screen for easy access. I also think it would be cool to combine this app with the ability to have easy access to take a screenshot. Just saying... -]
Clipper is a most useful tool for capturing and, most importantly, retaining items copied. The app needs to be called to the foreground from time to time, lest it cease capturing clipboard items, but once an item is captured, Clipper will retain it until deleted.
This app is very useful for notes, reminders & keeping up with daily activities & tasks. It's a good tool ... a real data-entry time saver ... for doing repetitive tasks. I want to learn more about what it can do to save time and effort.
Wish I could reorder the clippings. I use the app for frequently repeated pairs of values. But it's already awesome. Easily accessible in the Notification Drawer, falls out of the way when you select an entry. Love it
Works as well as any other clipboard app. However, the developers removed the sync function, which is what really set this app apart. Please bring back the ability to sync across devices!
Have the Clipper+ paid version, and it will not copy or save text, tweets, or pretty much anything besides (oddly) Wordle and Nerdle results, which turn out perfectly, graphics and all. Am running Android 12 on a fully updated Pixel 5a. I see this app hasn't been updated for a long time, so I'm afraid the developers have abandoned it. Caveat emptor.
