Clipper Plus with Sync

Been using it for years and it's saved my bacon on more than one occasion. Unfortunately it's now effectively useless. The almighty Google has banned background apps from accessing your clipboard. So Clipper+ can no longer save what you copy, unless it's open. Oh well. It was good while it lasted. Thanks Google!

Clipper Plus is one of the best clipboards out there. The fact that Android has thrown a monkey wrench into it's gears disturbs me greatly. I hope the devs can fix what Android has broken as this app deserves to be in the apps Hall of Fame. I've used it for many MANY years with great results. I'll never uninstall it as still works for time to time still retaining the clips copied. Such a great GREAT app. Come on devs... Fix our Clipper Plus!!

Started WORKING AGAIN (somehow). Sometimes it will stay on and copy everything I copy, but sometimes it doesn't. When the app is opened and left so you can access it with the square button, it seems to work best. I am not rooted or anything. I went ahead and went into the battery settings a minute ago and took it off battery optimization to see if this would help steady things out. I'll come back for an update after a few days and see if that has helped.

A pleasure to work with. Been using Clipper Plus for years and it's saved me hours of time. One small suggestion to the developers: if at all possible, please arrange that the pinned clippings should have the option added so that you can arrange the following order when needed. Usually depicted by using the icon that looks like 3 or 4 pancakes stacked on top of each other. Putting the most used, if you'd like, on the very top.

Please don't shut down the service, even with the new Android restrictions it is *still* an amazingly useful app to store (and sync) text snippets that you can quickly copy and paste to other apps--the workflow is extremely efficient. I am sure you can successfully reposition it and keep selling it. In fact, I would gladly pay for a Windows version of the app for my laptop.

Good clipper, but don't buy the license for its sync capabilities. While this is a good clipboard manager, with solid features, I find the sync capability rarely works correctly. It indicates its syncing but, after a long time spinning, it invariably blames "network connectivity" issues and the sync fails. There's no problem with my phone's network connection. I think something is half-baked, with this app. It's functionality will not be allowed, in Android Q, so this app seems defunct now.

This is extremely useful, especially if you have different folders for different types of clippings. Make sure that you set your saved message limit to a very high number. I use it to record random thoughts, and ideas for jokes that I'm writing. I also save song lyrics to practice before I perform them at my shows. That's about comet they can be backed up locally, and transferred to another device easily. This was worth of penny I paid for it. *Highly* recommended. ✌️👍

I looked at several dozen clipboard managers for Android before selecting Clipper Plus. This was the only clipboard extension that had an intuitive, well designed user interface. It's easy to use and maintain a large collection of clipboard content for easy pasting as needed. I wish they offered an auto-sync feature with a desktop version of this app for those occasions when you're moving back and forth between your phone and your laptop.

Like most everyone else, I LOVED this app. It was literally the backbone of my copy and pasting. When the sync option was discontinued, I was upset but it was not a deal breaker. Android 10 really screwed users by prohibiting background access to the clipboard. On my Galaxy Note 9 if I copy then open the app (sometimes) my clipping will automatically appear. It's a 50/50 chance and even if it does, having to open the app EVERY time is a HUGE inconvenience. Defeats the purpose. Sorry rojekti.

Clipper aspires to meeting a real need, capturing and retaining everything copied, but the reality is that it captures clips erratically. Leaving the app running doesn't seem to matter, as is including it in "apps that never sleep" under battery settings. However, as it will retain multiple clips on occasion, there is proof of concept. I encourage the developer to keep working.

I used it for a long time and loved this manager. It was a lot easier than creating widget notes of everything I wanted to remember. I've tried others and this was the most convenient and user-friendly. It isn't flashy, it's functional and practical. I recently updated to Android 10 and unfortunately background clipboard access is now restricted. I'll miss the convenience.

I love Clipper Plus!!!!!!! I've NEVER ever paid for an App before, but this one is well worth it. I make a lot of notes that I like to keep copies of to refer back to later, in order to put all my pieces of thoughts together. I often start comments that I don't have time to finish in the moment, and I can easily hit copy if not completed, come back and paste again when I have time to finish my thoughts. If I had to depend on normal clipboard, my thoughts may get lost and deleted. I LOVE CLIPPER!

I have been using this app for a very long time and it always works right and has improved over the years. Now Google has interfered with it and other apps by stopping them from working in the back ground, but Clipper+ is still a valuble app since with the use of snippits and list it can still let you cut and paste accross apps. Thank you for a great app.

Excelent app. It has helped me to organize costumers for deliveries and pickups. I would suggest an option for ordinal number or give the number of clipings on top of the list. For example, in my case, I select and share a number of clients from a particular list created. All clients choosen become available on clipboard list, but I can't see easyly the number of clients. So, I have to count one by one.

I am constantly cutting, copying and pasting text without even thinking about it; many times overwriting the text I need in another app before I can paste it. This app solves that and more. The free app is good for that, but opting for the paid version is a great decision. The extra features are very useful and the app works great. I especially like the snippets feature of saving a date-timestamp, in the format I use daily, that translates to the current date-and-time when pasted! A great app!

This should get 5 stars and it's not the fault of the developer. I've used this app for YEARS and it's been my most used tool on my Android devices. Worth every cent. Then, suddenly, out of nowhere, Google prohibits ANY app from having background access to the clipboard rendering this pristine, bug free, incredibly well designed and useful app that I've relied on as a pivotal part of my Android experience TOTALLY USELESS! Thanks for giving us a CHOICE Google! Google is now out of touch!!

Unfortunately, I believe this application has been abandoned, by the listed developer; in Finland. The app works sometimes; as it used to be, as a classic clipboard 📋 app. I find, that if you use the share function icon; available on most apps & web sites, it will show clipper+; as an option to transfer the url or web content to...

THE UP WAS UPDATED LAST IN 2019 Unfortunately it does not have cross device sync, so I switched to another app which has that feature. OLD REVIEW : Exactly what I was searching for. I needed a simple app that keeps a history of my clipboard (whatever I have copied). There is also the 'pin' option and lists to save favorites clips.

Still working with Android 10! Despite the warning that Google shut down the ability to save clips in background, Clipper+ seems to be working just fine! Only issue is every now and then it stops running in the background and I have to open the app again. Otherwise, extremely convenient!

Workaround for Android 10: I ’Share’ clips to Clipper+ instead of Copying. The app opens, I back arrow to return. They do not get overwritten. I find it just as easy as copying. Now it's also saved & editable & a few clips can be merged. I'm not using notifications. Excellent timesaver.

Latest Android releases have removed the ability for apps like this to work in the background, I get that. So Clipper needs to be opened to save from the clipboard. This isn't a problem for me, infact it's kind of better, one less thing running in in the background.

THE Best Clipper App. I've used it for years. Tried others a few times. "promises". Stick with Clipper+. Save yourself time, headaches, lost or unretrievable info. etc... The sync plug in has been taken away but it still let's you add to lists, create folders, you can save more info than any other. it's a great app !!

Great app although it could use an overlay feature so that you aren't having to leave the current app you are in to choose your clipboard selection. This is essential all the same, great stuff.

Used to be a great app. But it seems the developer has not updated it in a long time. It does not work with Android 12 unless you hit share instead of copy when you highlight text.

Somehow I find this and only clipboard manager the most convenient and productive of the all by a longshot despite my features and settings hungry personality. Not the most customizable but it more than makes up for this in use. Greatly recommended. Try it for a few days and you can see. More than happy to write this review as i seldom write reviews because not many apps are solid and reliable. This one most definitely is. Don't have a device without it, one of the first few a put on a new phone.

I have always enjoyed this app it keeps me from getting in a bind and I've never had any trouble with it. It has stopped working for me from Instagram to Facebook it will not load the picture anymore, it started about a week ago and I don't think it's this app that is the problem...I think Facebook has changed something cause it works great from Twitter to Facebook!! Just another bump in the road..

I AM EXTREMELY! HAPPY WITH CLIPPER PLUS! I have always been very involved in writing ✍ important letters -- ever since I was thirteen years old. I am currently sixty-three years of age. Now, the letters (private and otherwise) are not only important but critically important. Clipper Plus is a very excellent tool which increases my efficacy to a substantial degree.

Using it for years. Missing the sync, but import and export is ok. Got a new phone 📱 and downloaded it and to my dismay the low notification setting is gone 😒. Now I have to put up with the icon in notification bar or has it moved? Well I didnt find it.

Great and working with Android 11. The reason i didn't choose 5 stars is that not every time I copy something it appears in the clipboard. Besides, sometimes even what I am copying gets to the clipboard, next day or so I don't find these copied items there although I hit the "Save" button. I hope this will be fixed.
