Cloosiv - Order Ahead for Local Coffee

I've had so many issues with this app since the last update. It won't accept my password and when I've changed my password it won't recognize it. I'm done. I'll still buy from the one shop that uses it but I'll be letting them know that this app is trash.

Changed review to 2 stars based on the new version. When it first rolled out last week it said my local coffee shop (Kahwa) no longer offered any hot drinks besides regular coffee & tea. OK, maybe it's the "coffee shop's fault" for not reconfiguring something to accommodate the new app. The next time I tried to use it (today) the normal coffee selections were back .But it said I had insufficient funds in my "wallet". Wallet...? This usually means an app is forcing you to pay ahead in fixed amounts to reduce their per-transaction costs. After selecting $10 and "Google Pay" it said "Customer id required". Not sure what that means since I've been using the app since the Cloosiv days, and I was signed in. In summary, the app upgrade is apparently not for customers' benefit, and likely not coffee shops either since it did not handle migration for either party properly. Of course, lots of apps are moving in this direction, so most people will just suck it up if there is no alternative. As a software developer I know migration is "hard". But time should be taken to do it properly even if there is great enthusiasm for rolling out a new wallet-based app for increasing profits. On the bright side, the problem with orders being double-submitted that I reported in my original review was fixed long ago.

Logged me out of the app after the last update, won't let me log back in, even after changing passwords. I had money in my account that I can no longer access. Seems like they are just straight up trying to rob you. DO NOT USE THIS APP. IT WILL STEAL YOU MONEY!

I like the app but had an update and don't remember my password but if I click forgot password it doesn't send me anything and now I can't use the app

Sucks. They either charge a fee to use Google Pay (after the first few users) or you have to load a balance, but unless you have the correct amount in your account, even if you're only 1 cent short, you have to load another $10. So basically you can never use up all of your credit to stop using the app. Needs a custom top-up amount, at the very least rather than the current minimum of $10.

Version 4.0.1 crashes every time you select a recent location. Promos are nice but not clear enough. Latest one was marketed as 100% off, but had a $5 limit. Why not just call it $5 off? I also have a 25% off promo which apparently has a one item limit as well. Overall the ordering ui/ux ranges from confusing to frustrating. It feels that they were going for simplicity, but instead of learning from the best mobile payment experiences they tried to be crafty in creating their own and faltered.

I've installed and un-installed this app 2 times so far. Unfortunately nothing on it seems to be working, it won't load location and when I type to find a coffee shop that was previously on the list it brings up a blank screen. I'm really hoping I'm a dummy and doing something wrong, because I was looking forward to using this app regularly. I went to website to read up on the problem and saw there was an page for location. Even on there the map is glitchy and now responding as it should be.

Overall, a good order ahead option. I don't recommend loading a balance. It's easy to get the payment option wrong, and I ended up paying with Google Pay when I had a balance to be used. Then my favorite shop decided to switch apps. I had to scramble to use up my balance.

Such a great idea, but I can't get it to work properly. I downloaded this app to order ahead at a specific location I love, but whenever I try to go to their menu on the app, it crashes. All the other cafes work fine 🙃 I tried reinstalling it too.

This is literally the buggiest and most poorly designed app I've ever used on Android. Most of the time I can't log in. Even when I can it's error messages are either nonsense or non-existent. Sometimes it won't place your order or tell you if it did and just leaves you on the payment screen. Modifying an item you added is not possible you need to empty your cart and start over

It's only working about half the time I try to use it. I really want to love this app. I love being able to order ahead so I can grab my favorite local coffee on my lunch break but it's so glitchy! Today I tried 3 times to place an order and it would get to the very end and the submit order button is black and won't respond. When it does work on my end apparently the coffee shop isn't getting the order in a timely manner and I still have to wait for my drinks. Very frustrating.

Love this app, however, I just spent a few months away from any coffee shop that uses this app and used it yesterday for the 1st time since May. Everything seemed fine, the girl was just finishing up my order when I walked into the coffee shop and I thought all was good... This morning I received a notification that "my order is ready." Not sure if that's an error on the coffee shops end or the apps end, but it's kinda weird to get that notification the day after I placed and received my order.

This app needs a redesign. Currently too hard to navigate. Make it as easy as possible to use. Shouldn't have to wonder how to use a credit card to pay for my meal instead of the loading a balance option, and if I have an order processing there should be a button that says ORDERS. Going through profile and settings is kind of silly

App has been buggy at times (less so recently) but the general concept is great. the ordering ahead is convenient and more importantly they are liberal with discounts. Looking forward to eventually having more merchant options.

Good app for easy ordering. Has been glitchy a time or two but also could have been network service too. Definitely makes for a quick and easy experience and they hook you up with rewards on occasion.

I've been excited about Cloosiv since day one when I found out I could conveniently order ahead at my favorite local coffee shop! No longer do I feel like my only option is the corporate coffee shop when, due to sleeping kids in the back seat, a drive-thru is my only option. My favorite local shop is happy to bring my order out to my car as soon as I pull up to the door! In the beginning, I felt like Cloosiv was a little clunky and glitchy, but they've definitely worked all that out...great app!

This app makes it so easy to order tea when I'm on deliveries! Unfortunately, the page sometimes crashes when I want to order a certain tea, and I think it's a bit hard for the coffee shop to organize certain menu options.

Overall the app works but there is limited information about each place and some features aren't explained. And sometimes the font doesn't match the size of the sentence and the app looks "off"

Love this app! So glad that I found it! I love being able to support local businesses but still have a convenience but some of the more corporate coffee shops offer. Especially excellent for mothers of sleeping babies that you don't want to take out of the car seat! I wish I could invite all of the local coffee shops to use the app... if only they had email addresses! 😊

Super user friendly! Simple but has everything you need. I love that it helps me find great local spots to support even while traveling that I might not have seen otherwise!

Cloosiv is great for ordering, though I have experienced some issues with the app not loading correctly. These aren't often and the rewards more than make up for it. :)

I have location turned on but it does not show coffee shops it my vicinity. When it asks for permissions I give all permissions, then it asks me to change something in settings. I tried to change the setting to "Allow to be on top of other apps" but it was greyed out. Don't understand why location works on every app I have ever used but this one wants me to change a setting. Also it shows I have a $3 reward, when I go to check out only $2.25 is applied. Not sure why. $5 award, only 4.50 applied

I like that this app is so easy to use. Just search local coffee shops, place your order for pickup, use saved payment methods and your drink is ready when you arrive! You can earn rewards, leave a tip, re-order passed orders, and it has a comments section to personalize your drink so they make exactly how you would order it if you were standing at the counter.

App works great with local coffee spots I've found using it. The developers make changes from time to time, but are exceptionally quick to make adjustments based on feedback.

Upon the odeko update, i notice i am unable to seamlessly reload my balance from the checkout screen. If i'm low, I find it inconvenient to have to back out to do this task. It was just fine before in Cloosiv. Why suggest load a balance if youre not going to allow me from that screen.id appreciate that option returned.

Super convenient and easy to use! My go-to app for my favorite coffee shop. I have been using it for months and completely satisfied with this app ever since I started. I love the rewards offered as well. Highly recommend using this app especially when you want to order ahead.

Easy to order but some flaws, editing or removing items in cart nearly impossible, cant view oders when placed, and cant add note after oder has been placed. But ordering is simple, fast, and easy.

Love this app for saving time at Dry Bones Mud House in Indianapolis. The rewards have been amazing. Can tell Cloosiv's still trying to figure it all out, but with recent app updates as evidence, they're on a good track.

At first the app was having tech issues, but they have swiftly resolved that issue thankfully. The best part of the app are the rewards. You earn points with every purchase and often receive flash sale promos of $3 off, etc...Def worth using!!!

App is great but the map needs improvement. When you scroll the map it snaps back before you can look at what's actually there.
