CloseWatch Harris County is a mobile application that allows citizens to turn in crime tips to law enforcement using a mobile device. It helps foster community awareness about suspicious or criminal activities.
It’s easy!

To phone in a non-emergency tip select “Call Tip Line”. To send a tip via text message, anonymous email, or a completed form with attached photos or video select “Submit a Tip”. For emergencies, select “Call 911”.

Would be a better App if Deputies responded... I know the information IS NOT REAL TIME, after talking to Three Deputies, at a Velero half mile from where I reported. I WAS INFORMED THIS APP IS FOR ON GOING, OR RECURRING ISSUES, AT BEST.

To those that complain about officers not responding...duh, they aren't going to rush to a sight where some clown reported a tip from an app on their phone. This app is to submit tips...as it states. If you have an emergency, call them! Idiots...

If it takes 5 min for the app to open and I have the fastest phone on the market I hate to think Howe slower out its on other devices. I tried to send a tip and it would not even work, worst app to date for me at least

It took 20 minutes to install by the time I did it still would not open. Uninstalled..such a shame.

Now we can notify the police anonymously without going thru the hastle of calling 9-1-1 and answering questions. Now you can text suspiciius activity and let the rest be handled.
