Clothesline
Clothesline is an application providing the easiest and smartest complete laundry solution. This app allows you to pay for laundry cycles from your account by using Bluetooth to communicate with the washer or dryer.
Simply use Clothesline to purchase credit right from the app, then use that credit for your laundry. A full accounting is available to see your transaction purchase history.
• Scan the QR code of your laundry room (one time process)
• Start laundry machines via Bluetooth by scanning QR code on the machine
• Check your card/account balance, and add value to your account for laundry.
For participating laundry rooms, you can view machine availability as well as receive alerts when your laundry cycle is complete.

Wish this worked as described. Sometimes it connects to machines, sometimes not. The notifications for finished loads have only worked once. I guess during the coin shortage there's a benefit if your machines take quarters. Otherwise just load your card and dont waste your time. It hasn't been updated in over a year so it doesnt seem like there's a whole lot of investment or interest in improving it
My biggest complaint is the automatic prompt to add time to the dryer when you start the load. It's baiting. It's only a quarter but it means I have 5 be very careful not to overdry my clothes. The other thing is the delay. It's slow registering the machine so the whole process can be time consuming, especially if you are doing more than one load
This is the single worst app I've ever used. It rarely works correctly the first time you try anything. You have to sign in every time you use the app, and the password requirements are odd so I'm always stuck trying to reset my password in the hottest laundry room of all time. Right now I can't even get it to load anything, while my laundry sit uselessly in two machines, taking up space.
Absolutely garbage app. Constantly tires to use you location at all times and won't work at all if you don't allow location during use. Even though you can manually enter the laundry room you're using. Instantly forgets all running cycles the second you close it. Completely useless.
Loading money is pretty easy. Connection to start is reliable and I've never had a problem. Would rate 5 stars if notifications came in better. Sometimes they do, sometimes they don't. So, sometimes my neighbors may think I'm being a "you know what" when I just didn't get the notification Gary! Lol
Edit of previous review. The app now automatically asks if you want to add extra drying time to the default 45 min. And there's a new 'cycle staus" button. Those are both really helpful.
Doesn't give you accuracy on times or loads being done and doesn't show me what my time is on my washers only the dryers. Stopped working when I tried to dry my clothing. Opened the app and it crashed.
The app is okay once you open it, but you have to put in your password every time you open it. Since I forget my password between each time I use the app this is a big and obvious problem so I'm giving it 2 stars. We shouldn't have to reset our password everytime we do our laundry.
Would be nice if it actually works. Sometimes it works, most of the time it doesn't. It always have trouble connecting to the machines even with scanning the QR code. Please fix...
Needs improvement. The app goes offline during the cycle and resets the machine timer. Too slow for scanning and connecting.
I really enjoyed this app, because it's very easy and convenient to load and wash clothes, without having to go to the rental office to load the laundry card. Thank you
It's 2 bucks to use the dryer. The app forces you to put in at least 10, yeah no thanks I completely understand your business model.
For the most part, the app is good. Unfortunately, there are times where the app won't connect to the specific washer or dryer so I have to use physical money.
The Clothesline App is very convenient. I really like it!!! However there is one thing, when I sign in it takes a very long time for my account balance to appear!

Wonderful to be able to do laundry without quarters. Our wifi connection seems to be much better lately too.
Better than having to carry quarters with you. If you have trouble connecting, turn your phone off and reboot. It happened to me and that was what I did and it worked than.
Requires your phone number and location??? Care to explain why? You must also enter your credit card number, cash is not an option, 3rd party payer like paypal is not an option. So, to do laundry, i have to give my name, financial information, location, phone number. Am i 100 percent convinced that they will safeguard all this sensitive information? No. Are you? Why do i need to give you all this information just to wash some clothes?
It's quick and easy, not to mention convenient. It takes the hassle out of trying to reload funds to easy as well. Thanks 👍😊
Two stars at first now I change it to 1 theres no customer service at all money, has disappeared from my account like 3 times this last time was worse because it was $5 and no way to receive any kind of reply from them.
When you close the app it forgets your cycles completely and you can't tell when they're done. Unhelpful.
These washer machines and dryers are so bad. You spend so much money for it to dry and it never gets dry fully. Clothes smell even worse than when you put it in. I ended up trying to contact customer service about it and they never replied. Rather wash my clothes by myself it's so bad. Do yourself a favor and never used these machines and get yourself your own washer and dryer. 0/5 stars!
Nothing wrong with the app but the dryers are horrible. I spent $7.75 on a dryer and still ended with wet clothes, wet not damp. Waste of my money. Disappointed.
I like using the app as opposed to the card. it's so convenient and I load my card in the comfort of my home.
It's not bad. I noticed the app will tell you cycle is done but went I went in there was 10 minutes left.
Easy! So much better than having to get quarters from the bank. This is much more a convenience. Becoming more modern.
Room status never works, end cycle status works less than half of the time, it works *only* for paying to start the machines.. that is absolutely ALL!! 👎
Doesn't work! Try to reset password and it takes you to a screen with no options to do anything! Too frustrating!

The concept is excellent. The experience needs work. The app is full of bugs that have to be navigated in order to get it to work, it's far from seamless. It's also slow and your constantly waiting not sure if your stuck in a loop or if its actually going to work. It can be a very frustrating experience. The ease of use over fussing with quarters and getting change is its only advantage. I'm hoping the developers continue to work on the app and improve its code then perhaps I can rate it higher
