Cloud Academy

I have purchased subscription for monthly plan through my mobile 2 days back , but my subscription was automatically cancelled and im not getting subscription back or refund amount. I never felt like this for this kind of professional application. 😒, Im not able to contact their support also , its look like scam..

The content is a good place to start and is really well put together and frequently updated to keep up with changes in AWS. I cannot speak to other content. The app itself, however, has a drawback that I find to be so wasteful of my time and inconvenient that I am considering switching to their competition. When used on mobile the classes don't sync. I often have to rewind and "force finish" a lesson multiple times for it to register that I have completed it. I contacted support to no avail.

Since the last update in the late March, I could not apply any filters upon search. Every time I want to choose "Learning path" or any other filter - app is just crushing.

Please ignore my previous review. I could figure out how to login to sso. This is the one of the best app so far I've been using and got frustrated when i couldn't login thru sso. Thanks verymuch for all the great work. I really like the way you explain and the strategy : the concepts , labs and test the knowledge.

App needs some work. 1. Can't save downloaded courses to SD card (other major learning platforms allow downloads to SD. This isn't a copyright issue for them). 2. Can't slowdown videos less than normal (1x) speed. 3. Can't expand videos to full screen for playback. 4. Can't change video playback to landscape mode. Other features like quizzes and test are great.

The app freezes. Are there any improvements on the way or the app isn't your priority?

Good stuff. (although I despise having to come to google play store to do a review.) Just have to walk away from 1st lesson of EVERY course. It's b/c they JUST HAVE to do their CloudAcademy intro w/a musical prelude, (OBNOXIOUSLY LOUD). Come back after about 30 seconds, once it is over. (It USED to happen on EVERY lesson...) Otherwise, lessons are good. But it's diff instructors teach differently & diff students learn differently - doing your hands on adds quite a bit more time...

Showing amount 79.99 and free trial but when I tried shows rs 2750 and without trial due to auto renewal trial

This app has improved a lot over time. I love that I can download courses and study on a plane or without internet access. The courses are great and the hands-on labs let me to train in a real Azure console with step-by-step instructions. The platform gives me the training and the experience I need.

The app is great, and very useful to go studying while on the train or bus. Unfortunately it is still too difficult to download the course videos for offline viewing, multiple attempts are required and I'm still losing the videos time to time.

My overall experience has been great. The learning path for AWS solutions architect associate is very comprehensive. One of the feature that I loved was the cloud challenge feature, where you are supposed to perform a task and you can get the task checked by the cloudacademy system. Impressive, very impressive.

one of the worst video apps i have ever used on a phone. constantly loses place in course. sometimes videos stop being able to be loaded and the only fix is to reinstall the app. doesnt use the phone native rotation so i cant lock the rotation. no way to play audio with the screen off.

very unstable and in consistent app. the download video functionality os completely broken. to remove downloaded videos we need to uninstall and reinstall the app. half the times the videos dont download at all. and we cannot resume what was not downloaded. again had to uninstall and reinstall the application. horrible experience using this app

The content is superior to all other e-learning platforms, but the android app is the worst one out there. With the amount of money consumers spend, they deserve a better android app. Downloaded content won't play, you can't operate it offline, app crashes intermittently, app response is very poor, these are a few disadvantages of this application. Overall the application is poorly designed and worst in the market. Free platforms have more superior android apps. But I repeat, content is awesome.

Its very unstable and keeps on crashing. I tried updating to the recent version. the major problems which i face are: 1) Video not playing when ever i click on a video black screen comes and gets redirected to today. 2)Video not getting downloaded. Even if i click 1000 times it just spins for 1 sec and again shows download logo

After 3Months of continuous use: Now I feel it a waste of money to pay tor this subscription. The costliest platform but no offline viewing. Initial review:Course Content is superior to any other platform, but the android app is the worst one. You need to refresh the progress everytime. Cant play downloaded content, so no offline viewing. Even if downloaded,it will stream with your wifi or mobile data. It seems this app Developers should undertake a cloudacademy course for themselves todo better

App performance not good, when I start it takes too much time, some time it's not starting, remaining app work fine so not internet problem, when I Uninstaller and reinstall it work fine but if I close app completely and again restart its not start easily and take much time to open or some time not open, this creating very bad experience.

I have just purchased subscription via google play and still not getting its active subscription. I am also not getting any reply and waiting for more than 2 days. I am not sure when this issue will be resolved.

When I lunch the app, it doesn't synch with my account (I used both web and Android app) but I need to refresh multiple time. Sometime it doesn recognise I have already a subscription. Other than that, contents and the application are great.

It keeps crashing and says app has been closed. I have to uninstall and install again every single time. unfortunately I have registered for a course through mg firm so I have to use this app but my experience have been absolutely disastrous. Waste of so much time.

I renewed via playstore and cloud acadmey doesn't accept that purchase and Google playstore refuses to refund. Pathetic customer support of cloud acadmey. I have sent multiple emails and only thing I get is an acknowledgement and no further communication or update. Been waiting for 4 days now to have my subscription fixed. very disappointed.

Needs more functionality similar to the site such as your overall score/ranking for your profile. Overall, pretty great experience in using though. Edit: updated to 5 stars after new features were added. Great support, Cloud Academy team!!

Constantly have to reauthenticate. Videos often don't play or open without having to reopen or reinstall the app. Continuously prompted to buy a subscription, which I already have.

For $50 i expect alot more. Some good info but not worth that much. Issues with outdated labs(hosting had changed their page), mobile app isnt really offline, other minor issues w content, support is professional but sometimes takes a full day to respond to simple things and be prepared for tickets. Less personal but at least they dont forget about it. They are geared for big corporations only.... Oh yea watch for unsupported platform. Room for improvement 1: Quiz - Explanation not visible in Mobile App version 2: Quiz answered from App is not showing the revised learning path score or any increment or decrement in the profile score. 3: When accessing Web version, App gets notification for every task that is being viewed on Web and the message says continue the course on the app. (What is the use case here, why are we notifying about every section what is being viewed in the course) ??? 4: Doesn't have Leadership board.

You can release much better version... it stops my progress as the video stops loading and I need to login again which fails....I try for 10 minutes , fed up and start going other works....

I am constantly getting loader icon flashing in and out while playing the videos, it is very irritating.. I can see it has buffered enough video and I am on 150 MBPs connection. Please fix this.

Worst app .I have made payment of 2865 for AWS SAA-C0 course , amount deducted from account but at the end got error and not getting any subscription for course.. I paid my exam money for this course and now I am not getting any benefits. Please help if you have humanity.
