Cloud SIM - Cheap Calls & Text

I'm pretty happy with Cloudsim so far, however sometimes when I text the message says it's 'failed to send and I must tap to resend' I then have no idea if the recipient gets my message. Sometimes when I text a message it says its been unable to create a conversation. I'm at a loss as to why this happens

Really easy to set up. Interface is very clean and simple. Can't see any facility to block numbers which would be handy for what I want to use it for. The settings menu doesn't seem to offe much in the way of options. Fees and rates are reasonable. Call costs about what I'd expect to pay from a regular provider. And the monthly fee for an extra number is cheap when you consider the cost of getting a second phone and/or a contract.

Pretty good. Good price for a new number. Lacking in some features you would expect from a phone app though. Biggest one for me being call blocking. Keep getting nuisance calls (not because of cloud sim), ability to block these numbers would be great. App itself looks a little dated, could do with some prettying up but not of much concern as long as it is functional. A pricing structure that would include a deal on more than one new number at a time might be a good way to go.

I had a problem of the app going to sleep and not responding to calls or texts. I emailed the developer and, within a short time I got a response guiding me to Android settings to prevent the app sleeping. It works. I'm impressed so far. I think users should be made aware of this potential problem. If they keep missing calls and texts without knowing why, they are likely to rate the app poorly.

Great way to separate contacts under different numbers. Easy way to keep in touch worldwide. Monthly cost for additional number seems reasonable. App is easy to use and manage. Would recommend, especially as there are no roaming charges. Bonus that it is compatible with Apple and Android and can be used on either a tablet or phone. Now need to get all my friends and family to download the app.

The UI is slightly unintuitive in some places, but this is the only criticism of this otherwise superb service. It is the only service I have found that works for receiving SMS (e.g. with one-time codes) from banks - and I tested more than a few. Very reliable, affordable numbers, works flawlessly. Keep up the good work!

It works, it's just not reliable, you can get cut off mid call. I have about 75% confidence in it I'm keeping it, as it seems a common issues with this type of service, regardless of the provider. Have the ability to leave a custom voice message, and call forwarding works ok.

I regret paying for this service. I've sent texts to numbers and they have not been delivered. I've sent texts with the number and they've been delivered without the number showing. Wish these things were clarified beforehand. I wanted something professional I could use for work, but I'm disappointed. I don't think I'll recommend this service to anyone.

It's basically Vyke - same interface same prices same reliability just different colours. Works. Both are quite pricey, but you get what you pay for. Recently had trouble with both apps with sent messages stamped with odd dates - 6th July 1970, or 15th December 2004 for 2 messages sent consecutively, for example. Support unhelpful - suggested deleting and reinstalling which didn't help and had no further suggestions. Conversations get out of order, so reduced star rating.

Misleading pricing information! The website tells you about the per minute and per message rate.... And conveniently forgets to tell you about the $3.99 per month per number fee. This isn't above the cost of other apps, but it is a bait and switch to hide it until you are trying to set up the number.

TOTALLY USELESS WASTE OF AN APP. Absolutely disgusting app. I installed it and configured it but it turns out that you will only ever get a single call on its hopeless sim, if you have got the app opened in front of you and you are staring at it like crazy pushing all its buttons in hope of activating it. In all other cases you would not even notice that someone tried to call you. NO ONE SHOULD USE THIS UNRELIABLE SIM SERVICE.. ABSOLUTELY USELESS.

It's a little confusing since once you've reserve the number by paying some amount, you have to add balance for making calls or send SMS. But once solved this issue, the app works fine.

Privacy Risk when using. Numbers added to the contacts in this app automatically add to your phone contacts. This then means apps such as Facebook/What's app etc. That find people based on your contacts begins suggesting people from your cloud Sim contacts and can allow then to see your status depending on settings. This should keep contacts in its own app database and not sync to phones personal phone book.

This app is very useful for calling abroad and the rates are also competitive. I've always experienced good connection with no interference and clear audio. Very easy to use the app. Highly recommend!

Tried getting a number. PayPal is the only payment option. Triggered payment, was told that I need to verify my email. Did that, then was told payment was not successful and a person needs to authorize it. So I don't have a phone number, I can't revoke my payment and I now have to wait for them to see my support message to refund me my money. Other apps work so much better.

Not mentioned anywhere until you register your phone number that adding a new phone number has a fixed cost of 3.99 GBP per month on top of the call fees. Besides only UK, Canada, Poland and US numbers are available. Lack of transparency, app uninstalled immediately.

Amazing app for social and work. A+++ I use it for everything. It's my social world. Upgrades are so cheap and great. I use it for international calls and texts too with family. Its a amazing place for everything. Just invite family and friends and its so simple to use. Even got my mum and my son for his new mobile phone at Christmas.. Top app must for all phones and tablets aswell.

Charges a separate fee for each number, Call minutes and SMS. There is no unlimited bundle for calls & SMS like one other 2nd line apps. Trying to buy an SMS bundle gives me an error message consistently so can only assume SMS isn't available. There are much better options available

This is the most emberesing moment when Incoming calls are not registered in Recent Calls, so I understand everytime that I don't know the number I was talking to. Also I see calls only when I have app opened. I can't answer for lock screen.

I installed it and it asked for my phone number to send me an SMS. But then it gave an error message. I CAN'T EVEN START TO USE THE APP! Tried a different number, same error message. Total joke.

I downloaded this app to use VoIP call, but doesn't work at all. Didn't have the chance to use it... the only message i get is " network temporarily unavailable."

It's okay but not receiving messages

It does the job and I like how responsive the support folk are. I've not had any problems but they seem quick to respond to others who have. That's good to see.

An excellent and invaluable app for people who move around and don't want to buy a new SIM in every new country, some of which may have questionable privacy laws.

easy to set up and use,. tried others but this one is the best and is great value. had a few questions over time and always answered fully and quickly. deserves five stars.

It's a good app it would be more excellent if there is also a free zone by which we can get credits by watching ads or by spinning. Where like me and some of them can't effort to pay so plss think off on this point plss .........
