The interface is aesthetically pleasing, but suffers from one major flaw (at least on my phone as of Feb 2021) and that is to select the level of cook on beef, veal and lamb is a little hit or miss, and there are few instructions, is it double tap, press and hold, press and swipe right or what? It should also be possible to save these preferences as default to avoid battling with the interface every time. Maybe in a future update???

Just awful. The bluetooth connects just fine, but the ranges and presets are terrible. I tried this on 4 different devices with the same results. For the meats with multiple settings, like beef with the different doneness, you can't adjust the temp up or down. You get the first setting and that's all. And the CREATE PRESET setting doesn't work. You can change the maximum and minimum numbers, but when you press CONFIRM, nothing happens. It just sits there. They need to fix this.

To the reviews that are complaining about not able change temperature for taste. It does work by pressing the area just below each picture where the temperature is shown with the right arrow. The area is just so small and if you have stubby fingers it might be difficult. The temperature is accurate ,BT works like a charm, the included bag with the sensor organizer is well thought and price is great. Software just needs refinement but overall is still a good value.

Works just fine and does what it's supposed to do. Don't know why everyone seems to have a problem. For each sensor you can read the temperature, look at a trend graph, set temperature alarm, choose from pre programmed temperatures by selecting meat type and doneness and each sensor has its own timer. All pretty simple. Easier to operate than the box you connect the sensors to.

Works pretty well except that you lose your temp history graph data occasionally for no reason and I have to restart my phone every time I try to connect to the device via bluetooth. I can live with the restart but those graphs are really nice to have to watch for temperature trends and keeping temps in check before they get out of hand. Otherwise 5 stars.

App worked well . My only problems with it is the fact that if you create a preset, not only can you not edit it after the fact , you cannot remove it either without uninstalling the app. On top of that, preinstalled settings cant be adjusted or removed as well. It would also be nice to save or choose to save the data from a previous cook or have a notes section to jot stuff down. Add these updates and so far this will be a 5 star app

I'm not sure why this app has low ratings. The thermometer synced up and reads temperatures as it should. It looks identical to a similar app I used for another thermometer like this one, just a little cleaner interface. It's Bluetooth so you have to realize it's got the same range limitations of every other Bluetooth device.

I have had this prob for over a year now and I normally don't leave reviews. After reading all of the negative reviews I felt compelled to give my 2 cents. The app and probes work great. A previous reviewer complained about not being able to set personal parameters but you can! I rotate my probes each time I do a cook and I will customize the settings every time. In all I am very happy with the performance of this product for the price.

Terrible app which lets down an otherwise good Bluetooth BBQ Thermometer. It connects fine but there are two MAJOR yet easy to fix flaws which need to be fixed ASAP. 1. The user manual show that when selecting a "Meat & Taste" icon such as beef you can customise for Rare/Medium/Well Done by clicking on the Beef icon but this function doesn't work so you can only set each meat type to the default Rare setting. 2. When you set the count down timer it only alarms if the app is actually open on your phone. If the device is closed or you're using another app it doesn't alarm until you manually open the app. What use is that? C'mon guys, the thermometer is actually well built but is really let down by basic flaws in the app. Please fix it ASAP.

It fixed the Bluetooth connection issue, but I can't select the doneness of the meet and I can't adjust the desired high and low temperatures. Also, don't use the unlink icon in the upper left, you can't get the app to relink until you uninstall and reinstall the app.

As one reviewer said, the preset Temps can be adjusted and added Temps can be deleted. You just have to have tiny fingers and tap in just the right place on temperature number next to the blink arrows. App has worked fine for me so far.

Same as others. Just drops connection. It started great. I could edit the presets, I could make my own, then after about an hour, it lost connection and I cannot get it to reconnect to my phone. Makes the app worthless

It works but it's bad. Bug at the moment can't add a custom temperature range only a single target the confirm button just doesn't work. Can't add custom pics for temps. Can't delete stock temps. Every now and then the bt looses connection while phone is asleep and you loose all of your graphs.

The graphing function is useless. You have to keep the app opened in order to capture temperature data. It will not run in the background. So basically this will only give you the current temperature. Too bad. Was hoping this would show me the change in temperature over time.

Trash. It connected initially, then almost immediately started crashing as soon as it connects with bluetooth to the thermometer. Waste of time and money. Looks like a previous reviewer is correct. When a probe reaches the target temp, the App crashes. Useless.

This app is terrible. It constantly shuts down, 3 temp gauges right next to each other will have a 20 degree difference, and the timer and temp settings never stay. I've uninstalled and reinstalled several times and this thing still keeps crashing.

Need to have the ability to customize the presets or customize the presets to you liking you create. All around good app. Example... All predefined preset are not customizable, the user created one's should be totally customizable from predesigned photos to temp settings.

I was initially going to leave a bad review as the app was crashing as bad as the other reviews said. After the latest Android update on my Samsung S8 Active, the app has work flawlessly and is amazing. For those for whom the app is crashing, make sure you're running the latest Android (v.9 for me)

App does not work period. After 10 seconds message appears saying Cloudbbq has stopped. Reinstalled app, new batteries, stop and restart bluetooth, nothing works. Unit works fine, just won't connect to app.

Well, I'm glad to see the app is still in the Play Store. I'm pretty sure they don't exist anymore. If you try to go to their website It's unreachable. I've emailed them in an attempt to have a conversation with them regarding the many bugs but to no avail. Hopefully the app continues to be in the App Store.

This app is pure trash, there is no way to set the temperature thresholds but selecting a preset and presets are not working: you can select the type of meat but not the cooking point, so beef can only be rare and hamburger can only be carbon. You can create a new preset but then you can't modify or delete it. The web site of the developer does not exist, at the address there is only a page linking unrelated sites (typical of free domains). Pairing over Bluetooth is difficult but not impossible.
