I had a lot of "app not working" issue. This happened when I was trying to change the choices after it was connected. So finally after about an hour I turned the thermometer unit off, turned the app back on on my phone and set what I wanted. Then turned the unit back on and it has been fine so far since. (Also, I saw some of the reviews that had issues with the temp presets - you can easily just add a new preset and choose your temp and it saves to the same screen so you can use again later.)

App does not work anymore. It keeps crashing. I cannot change the settings and it beeps at me at 140 degrees for everything. It is quite annoying. I will be changing my review on Amazon too. Most of the time when software is crashing like this, it is patched fairly quickly. I k ow crashes are a high priority where I work.

Just got it. Dining table test drive report is that it's all thats advertised. Custom temp sets and is retained after BT disconnect, and remains after power cycle. That means you can assign a custom temp for each probe once from the app and it sticks. Time will tell, but straight away, things look great.

This app is super buggy and clears your history out if you disconnect from Bluetooth. I can never get through an entire cook with my graph data in tact. Also the alarm is terrible. If your phone is in standby the alarm doesn't actually work even though it's given full permission. This makes it pretty much useless for long cooks.

App crashes just as you start it. Tried reinstalling and installing on different phones (s5 and s8) Same behavior. Completely useless. Thermometer was great while it worked, it was my favorite. However, until they fix the app it is now a paperweight

I cant seem to add my own custom temperature. The option is there is just wont work. I enter my temperature and the push confirm and it does nothing. Food keeps cooking long after you take it off the heat. I want to be able to add custom presets.

the app worked great when i first got it a few months ago. now, apparently after an update, it will begin to start saying "scanning" but then crashing. now it's unusable.

It was good while it lasted. I use it with no issues about 4 times. Then.. it just stop working. It keeps saying scanning, Then closes. will not work anymore.

Needs to be updated so we may pair the bluetooth. I got this as a gift for xmas and I have used it before with no issues. But now when I try and pair it the bluetooth will not connnect. 1234 and 0000 dont work. I followee the instructions 10 times and got the same result. UPDATE THE APP SO I CAN GRILL!!!

Won't allow the unit to pair with my phone. Useless. I have to just look up ideal temps and watch the screen to see when the food gets there.

I have to agree with the majority. Worked great till I had to replace the batteries. Then just kept scanning with no results. Very disappointed with product.

pretty much useless after recent updates! app opens, says "scanning", then shuts off. I cannot use the bluetooth temperature, which is why I bought this thermometer.

It may be a good app and may work with other thermometers, but I have a Galaxy Note 4 and two different tablets and this app won't pair with my thermometer on any of my devices. Since I know it works for at least two other users and I seldom hate anything, I'll give it two stars.

Unit works, app doesn't. The device works fine, but the latest version of the app now crashes on launch on my Galacy 8 Active with Android 9. Please fix.

Stopped working since last update. Closes immediately. Never did set the alarm temp correctly on the device.

after latest updates it just started scanning then shuts down. it's junk if bluetooth won't work.

Excellent App but needs more presets I am a newbe to different types of meat temps. Would be nice to select and go.

This is awesome! Can't get the timer to work, but who cares. I've grilled & smoked with it now. Simply amazing device.

App won't pair with the device, and app hasn't been updated in a long time. Worthless.

i wish i could give this app negative stars.... Who makes a Bluetooth app that doesn't connect? What's so pathetic about the whole situation is the makers of the app won't even address the issue.

This version 1.13 does not run on Samsung s6. Found version 1.5 APK online and installed. Older version works great.

yep, app crashes after scan. Now the thermometer is usless. update, download the other app that says cloudBBQ shobin wong. it works

Used to work fine, after last update it just crashes on startup.

I can not remove or change presets at all. Just add new ones forever.

App keeps crashing after the last update. fix it!
