It's build up very well, easy to use, easy to get an overview, magic circles a good idea etc. --> There's a bug though: Some events only show up in the widget but I can't find them when opening the app. Also the month view is empty, there's just a white field and no dates. When I restart the phone I can see the dates again, restarting the app is not enough.
Great app. I would give it 5 stars but for 2 things: 1. The refresh button on the widget does not seem to work - nothing happens when I press it. I am also not sure if the widget is updating at all. 2. I can't find a way of changing the colour of my tasks. At the moment they are dark green which is too close to one of my calendars (I know I could change the calendar but I am used to that colour)
Bought the pro app and working just fine when it first came out. After a recent update the real nice pictures that you add to the calendar didn't work any more. I emailed the support group and they responded right away trying to duplicate the problem. That was this past summer. The app had an update in August and still not fixed. I noticed other people commenting about the support group not responding. I removed the app.
could be really useful but does have a few bugs, for example i to have a problem with refresh button on widget not working. widget is also slow to update, and i cannot get my chosen alarm sound to work instead i just get the system sound. so not perfect. i do have another app on my phone which allows me to choose sounds and it works fine so why doesnt this one????
I love the calendar app, but am looking for a combined calendar & task app so I purchased the Pro version of CloudCal and installed the integrated task app - then all hell broke loose. For some reason, the task app force-closes before even opening, and makes the Calendar app do the same thing as long as the task app is installed. I have emailed the Dev (11/13/20) and am awaiting a response. I will definitely update!
A very nice combo month and agenda view. But I can't use a calendar that doesn't let me set multiple default event reminders, doesn't have separate default reminder settings for all-day events, and treats all-day events as busy time by default. I'm not in the mood to configure this stuff every single time I create a new event, when most events are fine with my usual default preferences.
The only calendar app for me :) the most impressive feature imho is the ability to make a duplicate of an event - as someone with rotating shift work, it's SOOOOO nice to not have to manually enter all the start/end/reminder times from scratch, I just duplicate from the last time I worked those hours. Also love the pie slice visuals, and the customizable nature of this app. Thanks to the dev team you guys rule
Brilliant! Absolutely love this calendar. Great navjgation via swipes, fonts adjust size to keep entries readable in different vjes, fast syncs with google cal, excellent input mask etc. I upgraded to pro after on day and must say it's one of those apps that really boosts productivity. The pie style watch interface is fun but am not really using it too much. In any case very recommended.
I need to report a bug, I use the circle calendar widget very often, but there's an issue I've faced recently. Some of my schedules won't show up in the time circle and no matter what I do it won't change. Please fix this problem, I was about to upgrade to pro version but because of this issue I hesitated. Really upset with the developer. Kept having issues with the app and kept sending the company emails regarding the app not working properly, for a month. Got tired of it and uninstalled it. Switched to Google Calendar. Never looked back since. Cloudcal has terrible customer service. Waste of money and time.
Some nice UX ideas, but also buggy - "Choose background" displays a Toast with a rather meaningful error message "End of input at character 0 of", then it hangs on a loading spinner forever. When I encounter an error after a minute of using an app, it doesn't inspire much trust, and I need a minimum of trust for a calendar app I'd be using...
Almost great, but the widget has stopped updating to the current date. I mostly use it for its agenda widget but since I now need to remove the widget and re-place it everytime I want to see my agenda... well, you can see how that's pretty inconvenient. I'll be looking for a replacement soon.
innovative "tactile" UX includes swiping L/R on dates for day/week views. a joy to use! Magic Circles are what attracted me. unfortunately, i don't sleep 12 hours a day, so the fixation on a 12 hour day makes them awkward. suggest: default to 24h + adaptive zoom of 6..24h based on extents of events in 3-day window (previous,current,next).
I have had this app for about 3 months now and wow! Why do I not see more positive reviews and why is this app along with Cloudtask app rated as some of the best calendar and task apps out there? I love how both of these apps sync together and how they sync with google tasks and calendar. I love the layout...very nice and usable. Sure it make not have the bells and whistles the other calendar apps have but it absolutely works for me. I have had google calendar as my go to calendar but now I will use Cloudcal for now on. I hope they continue to improve both the cal and task apps. Good work!! Try it and I guarantee you will like it.
Still learning, but frustrated... I am a PRO user, read: Paid user and have reached out to support with no response. They have lots of help and a good product. I bought the calendar and the tasks that go with it. I just can't figure out how to integrate my work calendar that is online with it to save myself from double booking. If that would work correctly, I'd give this app all 5 stars. Also, speaking as a business owner, please don't offer a support email if you aren't going to answer it.
Free version was fine, really liked the way it worked so upgraded to pro. Mistake. Now repeatedly get a message saying the app has stopped. It's unusable and there's no support. Shame, I really wanted to use it but I can't.
Great app until most recently. Having trouble syncing and not able to contact the help. Would love to be able to share my app with my family but no instructions on how to do it or if its even possible. Getting the manufacturer to respond is like trying to get blood from a rock, very hard to do.
Events are not created. Existing events show up on calendar display but on the day dashboard when you select a day. DEVELOPERS please fix this. The app is not useable in this state! I'll be using a different app until this problem is resolved.
A lifesaver! I have dyscalculia so numbers are difficult for me. Seeing the events as wedges around a circle helps me understand my life. One big ask for the developers--is there any way to have a circular single day view? I use a different app for that (sectograph) but it would be nice to have it in cloudcal.
Unstable: * Doesn't show items in different views. May show in week view, but not in day view, for example. * Even the day number and name are all mixed up. * I purchased the pro to be able to drag&drop task/event to other day/time. It works within the day but not between days.
Love this Calendar! Sleek and visually simple but with plenty of features and app supports but not invasive. Setting notifications (standard or unique) is simple and cross device sync has never failed to remind me of an event wherever I've been.
I've written the support email listed on the app, on the play store and on the website. No answer. I've sent several emails, all gone unanswered. I've paid for the app and can't get any reply. Looking for a new calendar app now.
Love the calendar & I use icloud Pro on 2 android devices: Samsung Galaxy S8+ Samsung Galaxy Tablet A 10.1 2016 Initially I was able to use the wonderful backgrounds offered. Now I can only access the solid colours or the phone backgrounds, all the other choices won't load. There is a message 'end of input at character 0 of' & nothing else happens. Plz advise. I have contacted support for help & got NO REPLY. Email address seems not to be working/valid.
Great app interface and visual. However, does not work well, does not sync . If synced, then disappear really quickly when scrolling between months. This app also needs a list view.
Troubles from day one syncing events. Created several problems missing appointments and even randomly removing some. And yes, that's with the paid premium version. Not to be trusted.
This app sync easily with Google calendar and Sectograph, it is really useful for me. And it would be great if we can have auto dark mode base on sun rise and sun set or base on phone dark mode schedule. Thank you once again. Amrong
I love this app. The circles make it super easy to see how full my day is and which of my 5 kids has a lot going on -- BUT lately, when I add an event on my phone, it doesn't sync w/ my PC. PC to phone syncs but not phone to PC. I've tried uninstalling and re-installing. I've tried changing the settings. Nothing is fixing it. Please help. I don't want to start over w/ a new calendar app.
