Beyond awful. It never does what its supposed to ie; make a doorbell sound when you have a visitor. Now I've changed broadband suppliers it refuses to reconnect to the doorbell. Nowhere in the app does it say its this sound for this or this sound for that. Expensive rubbish hardware powered by an awful, awful app. There's a form to contact the manufacturers but they dont care and have never bothered for 3 enquiries over the last year. Get a Ring, costs more but works.

The app is simple to use but I also have the constant notification on my screen in addition to alerts that you receive. It is annoying. The app also uses alot of processing power. Over the course of a full charge to discharge, cloud edge used 37% of my battery. During this time I received 4 notifications. I've been a user for over 2 years and it's going to be time to update my cameras soon.. Likely to be looking else where I think.

Edit: Turns out our problem was caused by using the same account on 2 devices, we had to use the sharing option instead. All ok now! No thanks to the developers of course who didn't answer emails 😡 problem was on my phone and my wife's it keeps saying session expired multiple times a day. You then have to log back in. Yes it remembers the login details but you lose valuable time and don't get the notifications if you're not logged in. I have emailed the developer but nothing back.

Update: Since latest updates, with message service resident on, my Samsung device keeps reporting high memory usage on this app. Without this setting, the alert messages are delayed. We want to get instant notifications when the motion triggered as default, no idea the purpose of this message service resident switch. Another issue is this ever growing temp files size, have to clear the large temp files constantly.

Nothing but frustration! Panning the camera is a pain because it's so laggy, you wond op on the other side of the room when it wakes up. The device also loses connection CONSTANTLY.. and even right now I can't connect to it at all. Save yourself the hassle and get a more reliable brand like Ring. My cable connections are tight and my internet is very strong, so no problems coming from that. I shouldn't have keep removing the device from the app and adding it again periodically..

Overall, it's a good app; it's easy to understand. Though, I would like to know how I can turn down the ring volume of the app or fully turn it off. When I am at work, I would rather not have my phone going off really loud when someone rings my doorbell at home. 😐 I checked under the ME tab, and there is no call ringtone sub-tab. Any advice would ve appreciated and would definitely help push the rating of the app up, in my opinion.

I give it 4 stars because the cameras work well and the app works as it should in all but one respect. Recently, the app has no history even though I have an SD card in them all. I'm hoping today's update fixed that problem. If not, I'll try reformatting the SD cards. If that doesn't work, that makes the cameras relatively useless. The battery lasts well on the cameras even though I have a ton of shade and the wifi rating is great with no connectivity problems.

Great at first, just OK now. Occasionally the video feed won't load and will be "establishing encrypted channel" for several minutes. Not helpful if the camera isn't online or working. The visitor alarm no longer goes off on my phone - I only get the alarm notification. I've only had this for a little over 3 months. Would love to continue using it, hope the kinks are worked!

Every two days CloudEdge appears or pop up on my phone desktop. It's very annoying and frustrating that it's impossible to get ride of that simple notification, only if I go to my notification settings and disable the app (but in the same time I want them on). However, this is what I'm doing for the last 2 months (on and off on the notifications)......so annoying features it has this app.

When someone rings the bell there's a huge delay receiving the notification to your phone. Motion detection notifications delayed. 1/5 times live feed won't load on first try. Says "device offline" more often than not. The video and pictures are great quality. Installation very easy. Intercom feature is good. Fix the delays mentioned. And don't blame the consumer saying wifi strength is poor. I'm at 88% wifi strength when I check the CloudEdge app.

Great product. I just wish that could exist a specific and easy software for PCs (Windows), easy to download and just install it, because by what I quickly saw, there are a thousand steps to deal inside the Windows to use third-party softwares, and no guarantee that is compatible at the end... But through cellphone app is really good and easy to use it.

The app works pretty good (although it is a little slow) the installation is easy, the picture quality is great and the features like two way speaker, night sight, push notifications to your phone/laptop, view multiple cameras simultaneously, you can even share your cameras to other people and optional solar panel to keep the ion battery charged so there's virtually no maintenance. It's the perfect truly wireless security system for those of us that like to be on the go.

Works well, picture is great, and connection was easy. Just wish motion alarm was easier to turn on n off, not just be on a schedule. Some of us do not have regular schedules. Also alarm events are abit hard to get to n erase for unnecessary trips by us. All in all, I'm glad we have it. Thanks for no ads too!

Worked great at first, now it's constantly trying to establish an encrypted channel and I haven't been able to review live or saved footage for going on 4 days. I've only had the thing for a week and a half. Whatever you changed recently, please change it back so the camera is working and worth having. Currently it may as well be a decoy camera because it's being visible to others is currently it's only function.

Id say that anyone who gets their live feed to load without crashing over and over again is blessed.. Ive been using the app for a few years, nothing has really changed, rather it be the constant camera loading issues, as in counting all the way to 99% and then drop the signal and give an error message "poor wifi signal" and start counting all over again and then again it gives me the "poor wifi signal" but any other device is flawless Trying to reach their "support" I've been ignored for mont

I don't regularly like to give reviews, but I find it frustrating that it doesn't detect someone approaching until they're already in front of the door. It is also not possible for me to see the videos that I used to see without any problem, it just says that you are entering an encrypted channel. I'm seriously thinking about changing my doorbell.

Very mixed...for the first 6 months had to run cameras in SD as they wouldn't load in any higher definition. Now the cameras load faster in HD. The only issue is when trying to access cameras there's a 50% chance the app crashes.. doorbell I can save video and it overwrites when the sd card is full, the outside camera only records when there is motion, which it misses 90% of the time, why can't I record outside camera constantly?

The App does everything it's supposed to do and does it well and intuitively. Assigning my devices (cameras) was relatively straightforward. However, the instructions are sparse and cumbersome, but once you get everything working it's a cakewalk. Finally, I want to share this app with my family so that they can view the camera but I haven't figured out how to do this yet. With better, more intuitive this app would deserve 5 stars.

Currently dealing with a bug, help! I sent email and in app feedback. So far the camera is great, with the exception of this bug. While watching motion detection videos, the doorbell rings and notification to phone as if someone pushed the button. Every attempt to watch any video captured, the doorbell rings and interrupt viewing the video.

Not the best video doorbell, been using this bell for a few years now, doesn't alert me when the doorbell is used I only know via bell receiver plugged into my socket kind of defeats the object of having the app on my phone. Even when going into the app it takes forever to connect to the video or view past videos... My broadband is one of the best so definitely not my internet. Quite frustrating as it could be good if it worked as it should 😏

I love this camera system it is both safe it is effective I've been using them for multiple years and the pictures are crisp and clear you can hear the sounds I really love it and for the price it's unbelievable! I got mine from Amazon and they gave me a great deal. Much better than the RING camera. There are no ads they're getting your way it is a full working system you can put an SD card in there if you want to record or you can send it to the cloud I use the SD card that is just fine with me

The program is okay but Instructions are far from adequate. My biggest complaint is that there is no way of downloading original CCTV footage. There is a re-recording feature but I'm not sure of the quality, I seem to be getting 2nd rate video whenever I use this feature.

It takes a bit of getting used to the settings of app. when I click on a motion it sometimes takes me to the first motion of the day instead of the motion that just happened, it would be good if the motion popped up to show what happened the way it would pop up when there's someone ringing the doorbell, I love that it acts like a regular phone call when the bell is pressed and I can communicate and see whoever is at the door. if the app was simpler to use it would be a five star.

Features added, then removed. For a while you gave us the ability to reboot the canera, then took it away on the last update. as of the last two updates, the motion detection is slow to unresponsive and the night vision has no controls aside fron "on" or "off" .

Update 3/27/22 App crashes constantly and will not open to let me control the camera. I get notifications about movement and occasionally get a still shot but video never works and the doorbell doesn't ever ring. All in all, this doorbell seemed great when we first got it but in a short time has become useless and the app is no better.
