Everything works great on my new Galaxy phone but it did not work good on my OnePlus phone. It totally freaked out my OnePlus phone, made the screen flash uncontrollably until I was able to finally reset the phone, when it flashed constantly I had to time it out and hit the button really fast when the screen flashed on. But with my Galaxy phone, it works great again thankfully!
Excellent app. There isn't a day I don't use it. My music streams for Google Drive. It would be nice if instead bod Twist pass the app stored neat data and playlists in a file on the drive you are streaming from. The app itself is exceptional otherwise.
Over all a very good app. To make it a 5 star review would need to fix the issue when Metadata is updated on dropbox and you sync to it the data updates on phone. Would so love to have the ability to see the books I am currently listening to in a started category.
Useless app. Access to Google Drive is blocked because the app tries to access sensitive days. Lacks controls like next/previous and volume control, takes forever to find albums on OneDrive, can't play an entire album on sequence (plays one song then skips to the end of the album)
I bought the platinum version (I don't know why Google Playstore won't let me post a comment there). If you want music from your Google drive following gets displayed "This app is blocked [... ]tried to access sensitive info*. The primary reason for me buying the app would be to link it to my Google Drive. Customer service is also terrible - wrote an email to the developer about 3.5 months ago, still no response.
Works great for a bit, but after about 10 songs, it just refuses to play any more without cleaning the queue and restarting it =/ Edit: this issue has since disappeared, this app is great, although I still wish phones just had expandable storage.
Been searching for a replacement for google play and this is the best app I've found so far. It's easy to sort albums and make Playlists. I download music using fildo and it instantly transfers here!! It is so convenient and easy to use!!!😭
Had the app on my previous phone with Android 10 and it worked beautifully. Since I've upgraded to a new phone with Android 12, anytime I play any sort of media, the screen starts flashing on and off until I forcibly restart my phone.
I can play music stored on OneDrive flawlessly. Now that I'm testing android 12 beta on my OnePlus 8 Pro it has this bug that when enabled notifications it crashes the phone flashing the screen requiring a hard reset. Just disabled notification and works fine.
Doesn't scan shared folders on OneDrive. I can access folders shared with me through OneDrive app and even through third party apps like Solid Explorer, but this player doesn't have this option. When scan my OneDrive it doesn't find anything because of this.
Like the reviewer below I got a new phone and i cant synch my music. Before that no issues. What, do I have to reinstall? Dont tbink thsts going to work. I tried going to company, double twist and i cant access site. No way to contact them. I paid for this not going to upgrade, how is it I cant get help for this service and theyre not out off business. This is complete bull. This is the perfect app for streaming music from Onedrive. Thev app has many different settings and options, music continue to play when screen is lock mode and better than any other app available by a mile....
Really nice to be able to play my music from Google Drive. My old phone broke down and when I got my new phone all my music was there. I can't get it to work with ChromeCast though, which is too bad.
Paid for the pro version to stream from my Google drive but it doesn't work. I get message that says this app is blocked and there doesn't appear to be anyway to enable it or request a refund.
Smooth Experience with Onedrive and Sonos! I've used a lot of music apps over the years, but even with 256GB of memory on my phone, my use of FLAC files meant I eventually moved them to the cloud and needed a player that could access OneDrive. Cloudplayer works seemlessly. Even cooler, it somehow streams to my Sonos speakers using Airplay. I don't even understand how that's possible since I'm using an Android phone. Works flawlessly with Android Auto, too, so I'm 100% satisfied.
App has stopped connecting with my Google drive folders. It worked great until it stopped working after I restarted my phone. Every time I try to sync I get a message that google has blocked the app as a security risk attempting to access sensitive information. Very frustrating! I tried everything I could to resume syncing. Nothing worked with google but I've now moved the priority folders to OneDrive and have been able to sync again. I hope CloudPlayer resolves this with Google asap!
Worked great with locally synced files before Android 11's storage changes shut that down. So I tried to use the cloud storage option, until I realized I have to give it full write access to my ENTIRE Dropbox. Why not let us specify if we just want to grant it an app-specific folder? I'm aware of how that limits folder selection, but it's preferable to giving control of all my documents to a 3rd party app just to sync my music files.
App won't load music from Dropbox or Google drive, making it worthless. I used this app daily but this week I added a new song to my dropbox and when it wouldn't sync in the cloud player I unlinked it then uninstalled it. Now none of my songs will load that are in my dropbox. I figured let me use Google drive but then I got an error. Do not buy this app! I don't know if the developers even support it anymore, after reading other reviews.
It doesn't cache audio files before playback, but after. So no matter how much space I set aside for the streaming cache, nearly every song has problems buffering, stopping and starting every fraction of a second. It doesn't matter how fast the connection is. I was happy to find something that would play my music collection and otherwise the app is nicely designed and has good features but if it can't play a song all the way though, all that is useless. Get MusicSync instead.
