I actually didn't know there was an app for this tax service, as I used the desktop version. In my experience, it was quite seamless and easy to navigate. I was able to complete two tax years consecutively without issue and netfile directly to CRA without any problems. I'll save the app for next year and I anticipate it will be just as convenient.
Much easier than the other program I've used--and no need to add dates for medical stuff. The only thing I couldn't find was a way to save what I'd already entered when I stopped in the middle of a section. (All completed sections were saved automatically.) And since I didn’t watch the instruction video, that could well be my fault.
After trying to file with TurboTax and having them trying to push multiple bundle upgrades on me (as well as withholding forms) I began looking for an alternative. Cloudtax does it good. All the forms you need are available. It doesn't hold your hand like other tax software does though, so If you're a beginner its best to get some help from the CloudTax team. It's no BS, and I appreciate that. Thanks!
It was a very pleasant experience using CloudTax. The various IT fields flow in an order that's highly user-friendly. I was in and out of the portal in a few minutes as the forms were pretty well organized and simple to navigate. Upload of T4 is directly linked to the return fields. Direct CRA form import is pretty helpful too. They even offer services like live tax expert guidance for a pretty decent fee (CRA audit protection is an added advantage here). Would give more than 5 rating anyday!
The User Interface is really easy and understanding, anyone can understand. Still, if you got issues Nim's Team got your back. Also, if you are having chat support, and lose the connection they send the push notification to your email address. Tax filing for the first timers, this is the go to application. Free. Convenient. Efficient. Reliable. Supportive. Great Job!. I love Nim's work that is CLOUDTAX, Keep it up.
This app is so easy to use and makes filing your taxes so simple. The search feature is great for finding the specific forms that pertain to your return, so you don't have to go through every form that you don't need, just to get to the one that you do need. And the email tips & tricks they send out are super helpful
CloudTax was really simple to use and if you do have trouble they are there to help you! It's awesome! I definitely would recommend using CloudTax to do your taxes this year and every year, I know I will be! I was done my taxes within 5-10 minutes! It's just great, try it, you won't be disappointed.
This has been the most user friendly way to file taxes that I have tried. There are options for expert assistance if required. I absolutely love that the service is also properly optimized for mobile use. I highly recommend CloudTax.
Simple and easy to navigate app. They also give you an option to review your taxes with an expert. I selected the option as my taxes were not adding up to what I expected. Nim reviewed my taxes and it was a great experience. He explained my taxes very clearly. I am very happy with the app and service.
The interface and features is very self intuitive. I used the Auto Fill my Return feature and it was super easy. Would definitely use this Tax filing again for 2022!
well guess it worked lol, i ended up owing justin trudeau like $1k, then paid for the 19.99 tax pro review(ballparked the price) and they got it down to $725. overall im happy and satisfied and would likely use them again next tax season. the autofill option is a lifesaver+ response time is pretty decently quick.
This is the first year I used CloudTax and it was a quick and seamless experience. The interface is user friendly with lots of help along the way. I'll be using it again next year and recommending it to family and friends.
Easy to do for anyone. Have done 2 years of taxes and the app stops you when it sees a mistake it will alert you and show you where it sees it. Great app for the average person.

Had my tax information all entered ..the app says free...get to the file my taxes portion and they will file my return for 29.99 because they are still being verified for 2020 by revenue Canada. Did we just Scammed for our personal information???? Sketchy and would not use this app!!!

The software is extremely simple and straight forward to use. Took me only a few minutes to file my taxes. You can also file previous years' taxes if you didn't file them before.
The auto fill button would not light up. I could only select to skip auto fill. Also verification email they sent me had an invalid link. Might not be legit.

This was one of the most exciting apps I ever downloaded. Now Friday nights are spent learning new tax rules and Saturday night we quiz all our 3 friends on what we learned... This summer all 7 of us are going away to play the 1st "TAXES WE LIVE TO LOVE 2022"

I had a great experience using cloudtax. I switched from TurboTax after they started to charge for doing simple returns by introducing fees for doing certain parts of the return. I don't see the need to go to any other tax filing service after using this product because everything is really easy, fast and comprehensive. I spent literally less than 5 minutes doing my taxes using cloudtax. I recommended this product to all my friends and family and anyone I meet because of its ease of use!
