Great game... but... crashes constantly at the same point and when trying to watch videos. The new update has not fixed the issue. Spent money on coins so feel ripped off!!! Update....so after the latest fix it worked fine for a few days. Now the game freezes again and won't load. Yawn getting board of this. Finger hovering over the uninstall button
This game is really good. The game engine is nice, and it's complicated, but not too complicated as to confuse anyone who plays it. It's just sad that the game doesn't load after awhile and I'm finally tired of waiting on an eternal loading screen. It's a great game overall, but it's too susceptible to bugs, crashes, and other issues.
Great game few problems but really big problems. 1) I never have enough Wage budget to do anything only had like 10,000 Wage but every manager and other staff wanted like 3,000. 2) I feel the game is scripted in a way I know it probably isn't but I created my own team and was 3rd in national south and had 10 games to go. I was like 10 points in front of 6th which is where promotion playofff stops so I Lost like 6 of the 10 games left and ended up 8th at the end of the season.
Won't go past loading screen. When the game was working it was pretty good, the layout took a bit of getting used to, most annoying bit tho was putting players on transfer list and never getting bids, only loan offers so u cud never make any money as players had to stay until contract ran out. Fix these 2 issues and I'll gladly rate 4 stars. I started as a made up team
The game has potential but there are some serious flaws that stop it from being truly enjoyable. The game generally works well with you being the football director rather than the manager and there's a fair bit of depth which means you have plenty to do. It takes a surprisingly long time to get through a season though. Mystified by no player ratings. You can't judge player ability easily or manager selections. Far too many red cards. Seemed to get one every two games. Manager kept starting first team players in poor condition rather than rotating them. Plenty of injuries too. Coin system wasn't bad but they are terrible value to buy. I easily got through 100k thanks to start freebies, results bonuses and by watching videos and still struggled yet that's £60 worth! I know the guys have to make a living but... The overly harsh board budget cuts after a season of debt and the inability to offload unwanted players for no compensation (which happens in real life at poor lower league clubs) make the following season unplayable. Series has being going a while now but it still needs works to be genuinely fun.
Glad to see cloud save added. However what I find unrealistic is this. Took the option for running a top division team on a 1 year contract. Had an approach for 2 staff members which I turned down. They then both resign and join the teams I turned down offers from. Then all my first team ask for a transfer which I say no to. Now not one of them will sign a new contract when their current one expires
You can progress on this game without buying coins. They key thing to remember is to try to meet your bored targets and also to forget how much money they allow you to spend and concentrate on how much profit and how much you have in the bank.. You can sign free transfers and sell later for cash. The management of the team and players should always come 2nd to money management. The adds do glitch out but if you leave it a few days you can watch enough to pay for Advertisment sponsors.. I have managed to get to premier league without paying any money for coins while drifting from club to club . The create your own team takes alot longer and does require coins.... My Created team is currently in the Premiership but stuck on an glitch where I can't progress forward because I have 18 emails that I must view but can't see..(glitch fixed) Also the game loads perfect on my S9 but on my throw away s5 does take a little longer so I suggest if you are having problems loading it is your hardware...
the game keeps on crashing and kicking me off every time i go and log onto the game. of this gets fixed than i will give it a better rating. The game still doesnt work when you told me to update to 5.0 android. It just made it even worse. can you fix as this is my only negative thing about the game. i cant even get into the game anymore i jave triedvabout 30 times already or maybe even more and it is still kicking me out.
i like the game, but its need more from the director standpoint. for example, more meeting, more interview about the team, players, game day, etc. needs more newspaper about tge team, players etc. its would be cool to have 3D game play. After the first 3 season, the game become repetitive. need more so its not the same every sesson. need more scouting from director. please bring something new to the games thanks
Potential to be good but the business model prevents me from taking a risk on it. I would gladly pay a one off price for a complete version where all badges can be earnt through in-game achievements. As it is I'm not prepared to take the risk of throwing money at a game every so often just to see if it makes it more enjoyable to play or not.
Even worse than 2018 one. I actually quite like the old one. This one handicapped you in many different way. The initial rep&certificate is lower. The new match sharpness feature make your life harder. One time the manager wanted me to replace the assistant (that he recommended 3 days ago). The game is more slower loading and more glitchy than older one. In one save I even stuck in board meeting and no button worked. Even some director goals are bugged (for example the board want me to built 4000 cap stadium and I built, but even after playing with 4000 attendances the goal is still not completed). Sometimes the board wanted me to hire new manager but the contract termination fee for current manager is even higher than budget for whole season. Oversea scout+u23 coach in the game is just an obstacle. If you don't have u23 coach, your team can't have many players. If you have that combo they will always find some random player from god knows where and recommended them to you. Sport scientist in this game is useless option in this game imo. They can tell you which player is not fit for match and which player lack match fitness. I can just use my eyes to see who is fit and i can recall who i didn't played in matches. Very disappointed in 2019 version. The old one is still buggy but it is tolerable and quite simple to get through lower leagues, the only thing bad about old one is you don't have anything else to do after getting many crowns except changing jobs and there is no wonderkid. In this one, it is like playing deathmode. Even easy going manager morale hit bottom when I decline his suggestions for assistants and kept current ones. It is crazy. (I forgot to mentioned that I try to mange one turkish team with escape relegation as main goal. After intro the game gave me 7 players total with 1 staff and tiny budget. After filling all the spots my best team rating is 61, my peers are all 70)
This game gets worse, this is my 3rd Edit, videos are not working emailed the developer who said sometimes they don't, what for weeks since a previous update? You fix one thing and another breaks! I literally can't win a game doesn't matter what tactics or formation , I'm always in debt, the game asks you to spend coins constantly which you never have especially if videos aren't playing! the perks are all ridiculous amounts of coins. You've made it far to difficult to win. It remains clunky and unenjoyable, enough is enough I'm deleting it permanently, sick of persevering with this ridiculous game. It's an absolute joke
At first look i thought, what a great game however after i had played enough for the day, and i saved and closed the app i was expecting to be able to come back on the next day and be able to continue with my career, but no. I waited for my progress to load for around 20 mins! And it still failed to do so! Please fix this! Its a MASSIVE shame as the game has so much potential and room for growth, but to do this you MUST fix the basics. Please get back to me about this problem i am having ASAP!!
At the start everything was fine, my season with aldershot town and I got promoted then in my half way through my second season there's a glitch where the inbox covers the whole screen and when I press the exit button (the ×) it doesn't work and only stays on the inbox page and this only happens when I press advance so that means I can't get any progress with my team
Good game but the rate of card in each game is really frustrating. very difficult to win matches most especially when playing under rated teams and it is automatic loss whenever i close game abruptly to do other things on phone. To the Developer, you are almost there just try to fix these.
***UPDATE*** Now it won't even load at all. Deleting the game now. Was really enjoying the game but since the recent updates, it doesn't even load anymore. It just gets stuck at the loading screen, where previously it would load but not progress at the end of the season.
Great game, great idea but poor execution. The game crashes repeatedly taking away all the fun from it. I do appreciate your hard work and the fact that it's free but make it playable. Stop the crashing if you can or maybe it's my phone. Good luck
Usually love these type of games. Started of well but the budgets are impossible to deal with. Also when trying to get extra coins need to watch a video which is fine but when click on to watch whole app freezes so have to restart. Needs fixing.....
It's a pretty good football management sim for a mobile game. It's fun if you know what to do. Of course, it won't have the same level of micromanagement as FM. Still, there's one problem I'm facing right now. When i soft restart the game, my reputation and gold reset? Mind if you look into it?
Really frustrating as lost saved games and coins amassed after updating, the 2nd time this has happened meaning I have to start again. Haven't got the heart to start again until I know its stable and won't happen again. It's a shame as the gameplay is good although hard to retain players on new contracts without spending money on coins or watching hundreds of videos if you start at the very bottom.
Really wanted to enjoy this game but every time I open the inbox I cannot remove the overlay from my screen. The inbox just stays open permanently and I can't close it which means I get stuck an can't progress. If I restart the app it plays fine until I have to open the inbox again!
Very elaborate and addictive football director game, sporting real players, staff and clubs names (the club emblems are generic, however the potrait system is charming and on occssion, spot on). Almost as detailed as championship manager and well optimised for mobile gaming. Paid for features speed up acess to bigger clubs, but building a career and restarting to 2018 with bettter stats and coins is a fair feature.
It would seem impossible to win after trying 10 games with 0 shots but 88% possession. I may have the best passing team in the league with most games around 800 passes. But still no win. Clearly a bug making the game for me impossible to play.
After about 20 games if you don't pay for the 'badges' that you are constantly asked to do then the game just stops you from scoring. It always gives you high passing and possession but it will just be 0-0 or a loss with 0 shots from then on. Clearly a con to force you to spend. Just make it a pay app then you won't receive this kind of review!
The game is too hard....you can't easily find players who prefer the same playing style as the manager and if you do the don't play well. It's also hard to attain the board objective and the cash your given is too little to buy players and manage to pay your players and staff.
As much as I enjoy the game,Its still far from perfect..... What's the role of the U23 manager? The search engine is specifically poor(u can't make a proper search with positions,age and ability)its annoy When a player picks up a red card in a league game,he even misses the european competition? I thought i should be control of how things work the game,why then should I be unable to replay and it just gives the opponent the win straight. its becoming annoying
Very addictive game, a few flaws I find annoying is when your trying to loan a player the club want way more salary than they are paying more than double, & when you offer a player you don't want to clubs with an asking price clubs come back with ridiculously low offers nowhere near what you asked for. Other than these it's a really good game taking on all aspects of running a club.
I know you really want money but come on, is this really the way to do it? I've played more than 20 matches. In all matches, possession and passing rate was more than 90%. Total passes exceeds opponent's by hundreds and yet, I've only won once. In almost every games, 0 shots. If you really are going to screw free player, at least be honest and put a price on the game. Not this "it's free to play but surprise, literally lose every game unless you buy things". TLDR, an exclusive pay to win game.
