Would be 5 stars if the menu icons actually loaded. Half the time it takes a minute from opening the app but a few times the bar just doesn't pop up.. This makes it so I can't log or check anything and renders the app worthless to me. If there was a setting to change the start page from the overview that would be helpful because I never use that page anyways yet every time I open the app I'm stuck on it, and it seems to be the one page you can't view or log anything with.
I don't know what happened, but since the last update, swiping between items to select is very slow and annoying and sometimes doesn't work. I will change back my review to 5 stars once this will be fixed, as it is an amazing and useful and reliable app. *** It works now.
It's a nice tracker, but I would love to see some improvements, like a preference for the starting day of the week (in order to start with Monday for my preference) in the week view. Ability to customize the options under each tracker (not just the default 4 for each). The notifications seem to have also broken. When I click, they no longer open the app. Just disappear.
Does just about everything you could possibly want a menstrual tracker to do, and then some. Its only flaw is that it lacks a dark / night theme. Nevertheless, it remains leagues ahead of all the bright pink, flowery, gender-stereotyped competition. Quite the refreshing change of pace.
I really enjoy the design of this app! It has great fluidity and options between life changes and I find that the information provided is well sourced and cited. I feel very comfortable and confident using this app. I also find the predictions helpful and keeps me in tune with my body.
Clue is the most ethical period tracker I've been able to find. I love that it's developed and run by a team who has personal experience with mentruation and that they promise not so sell my data. The app itself is easy to use and gives a nice overview of my cycle, allowing me to review patterns as well as plan ahead.
A good app that I've been using for years but recently the app has been lagging to the point where it takes forever to put any information in. What used to be a one minute job I could do before bed now sometimes takes up to ten. The predictions are usually accurate (give or take) and all the information is useful so can't fault it there. Only issue is the unbearable lag, if I didn't have years of information logged I'd very likely switch to a different app because of it.
Not very inclusive... I couldn't even make it last the first two set up screens because it asks about your last cycle but won't let you go to the previous month and when asked how long my cycles were, it only went down to 10 days and my cycle is typically 3 to 4 days. Other than that, it works fine. Does what it's suppose to do. But I had to get a different app just to be more accurate.
Edited - April 22 After they fixed the issue below, I have no complaints at all! Everything works :) ---- Unfortunately I have to edit my review - removing the next cycle prediction(s) makes the app way less useful (if not completely useless). Update: the next cycle prediction not showing is a bug, deselecting/reselecting the blood from your last cycle solves it.
OK at best. been using this for a few years now: whenever I open app the calendar view it's stuck on the last day I opened the app, I have to close it and reopen for day to update. Constantly bombarded with notifications to pay for premium features which don't interest me, keeps telling me this is a female developer team as if the gender of the coders outweighs the functionality. The predictions are ok, everyone is different so sometimes the ovalation day is off a bit.
I like clue. I've been using free version since i am the type of person do not pay for apps. I would say even the free version does not have tons of advertisement, which is awesome. The app allows me to document my period and predict my next period using used cases collection method. One bad thing is i am 42 and is about to go through perimenopause, so my period prediction is going a little out of wack right now, but anything other than that i have no complain.
Generally a decent app, one problem. After the 10th day of this cycle, on the calendar, it reverted to only the red dot in the top left that indicates spotting, instead of the red line going through the date, even when I logged that day as heavy. I gave it afew days but no change. I'm used to the main screen telling me it's over when it's not, and rely on the calendar to accurately portray my cycle, please fix this I use this app to show my doctor so I need accurate portrayals. Thanks.
Edit: it's still great and only getting better. I've been using the paid app for years and have used it in making more informed health decisions. I agree that tagging is lacking—more menopause-related/endometriosis-related symptoms would be great. Reading other reviews, I'd be happy to opt to pay a bit more to subsidize the subscription for another person. This app is really valuable, especially for people with limited income and therefore access to healthcare as is the case in the US.
It was good in the beginning but now it just seems to not work. I'll get the notification that it will start and three days later I'll get the late notification ad two days after that it will start. It's good for people older with a more on schedule period but for me not so much.
Could be better. The free version is a bit limiting, also I think you can't just download your data, you need an account and it only shows the last 6 months. It's ok as a calendar for your period and other symptoms, the predictions are decent, but the rest of it is not really useful in the free version. On the plus side, it's very easy to use and has no annoying adds.
